    Eryn nodded, releasing the spike, making sure it was firmly back in place. “Then perhaps we should kill that one?” She pointed around the man with the knife. Eryn briefly checked her store. Good. The burst had taken a decent portion of the power, but her metalmind was still about 70% full. Still, she should avoid doing such an act again. Fortunately, she did not usually need to move so fast or tear metal.

    Someone takes a harmony spear and stabs someone and we will have a non-hypothetical explosion. Ka-BOOM! Ett Metal explodes on contact with water, after all.

    “I am holding your linchpin,” Eryn said calmly. “If you move, it falls out. Maybe you kill me first, maybe not. Better to make peace, ja?” She paused, then added, “how is to see through metal? Sovereign only laughs and does not explain.”

    Eryn moved back with inhuman speed, Mist swirling about her. She moved behind the Inquisitor, her fingers tearing through cloth to wrap around the head of the spike she knew was there. “Stop. Unless you wish me to kill you.”

    Eryn moved away from the Inquisitor, drawing more power from anklet and metals. She moved far more swiftly than anyone naturally could, leaving behind a bit of swirling mist swiftly evaporating.

    Eryn sighed. “That is not nice.” She moved lithely, snatching the metal spike with unnatural speed.

    Eryn shook her head in amusement. Foolish barbarians. If this Inquisitor wished to kill them, she would. They could not run fast enough to escape. Idly, she wondered what it was like to see through metal eyes. The Sovereign has laughed when she asked, claiming it was not easily described.

    Eryn shrugged. “So? If she wants to kill us she will follow. If she does not, she will not, ja?” She motioned toward the Inquisitor. “Besides, she belongs to Ett, your god. Do you not trust him? I trust the Sovereign. He is near, and he protect his crew. ”I am not afraid because she has metal eyes. I did not know people up here had metal eyes too. In the South, only the Sovereign has, but only one eye.” She paused, looking thoughtful. “Are there many with metal eyes up here?”

    Eryn tilted her head curiously as the bar patrons started shouting and screaming. These barbarians were both rude and strange. “They are very excitable, ja?” She observed conversationally. “What makes them so upset?”

    Eryn sighed. It was obvious the people were still communicating, but she could no longer hear the words. “Are all here so rude?” she asked, allowing her irritation to show. “No one answers questions.”

    Eryn made a note of the words. So Ett could speak through his servant then. And this servant seemed... less than willing? Interesting.

    Eryn leaned against the bar, waiting for an answer, casually scanning the room. Her focus remained on Ett’s people, but one could not have guessed from her demeanor. She called up to bar again. Unfortunately, the bartender was far too busy to notice the tiny woman. So, innocently, she turned away, passing the table with her mark and the other agents. She paused as she did, a seemingly sudden thought occurring to her. She turned, speaking guilessly. “Do any know from what this is made? It is good flavor - sweet/sour. It will make nice choc.”
