  1. Eryn smiled faintly. It seemed Ett’s people could learn subterfuge. She nodded at Sage. “I would be willing to now,” she agreed.
  2. “Thought you would tell her hide. ”Be wise. Maybe claim blind sister. Have her wear blindfold. Sovereign does this trick; wears dark glass or patch. Hide spike. ”Either way. Do not let on I knew. Something strange with this one. Need to know more.”
  3. “I though you had sense not to mention her to Basil. He follows my master as the Survivor; they think little enough of the Sovereign’s brother. He will not like another Inquisitor. And it will reveal whom you serve. Better he should think I did not know.”
  4. Eryn gazed at her coolly, idly moving her right hand to her ear, then moving it to circle her left hand. Hopefully the woman would understand. There were wiser ways to speak.
  5. Eryn glanced over at Adilie. Did Ett want the Inquisitor revealed, or was this Adilie’s own idea? It did not matter; it was not wise. Basil followed the Survivor, or he would not have been in the temple. She did not think he would like this. ”Curious too,” she said, allowing her curiousity to sound in her voice. “Did not mention this.” Better to imply ignorance, just in case.
  6. Eryn glances at her companions. “I would go now. What you wish?”
  7. “Can oversee,” Eryn agreed. “Ran shop before. business is business; runs same but different scale. Use same skills to run team as crew as kitchen.”
  8. On this we are agreed. I think he’ll show up in some form in book 5.
  9. Eryn shook her head. “Not me. Not good enough with language. Secretary need write and read much. Can watch workers. Can fight if need. ”Sage, maybe. If she want.”
  10. Eryn nodded. “What jobs specifically? What would entail?”
  11. That’s generally my reason for publishing my work too. Glad it helped!
  12. Oh, they are absolutely nothing alike. But I doubt Kell would risk Odium’s freedom. The risk to Scadrial is too great.
  13. Eryn nodded thoughtfully, her sharp eyes scanning the room. She would have to keep watch on this Basil now too. Good thing the compounder decided to join; it would make it easier to watch the Inquisitor.
  14. “Here,” Eryn said calmly. “Am short; she block. Did not see.”
  15. Kalak ordered the deaths of Kaladin’s squad. And his organization has caused no end of grief and was involved in trying to return the Desolations. I have no issues with the GBs trying to capture him. There is no indication that Axindweth had anything to with the Ghostbloods. That is just one theory about her, but it doesn’t make sense when considering that the GBs have no motive for wanting a Desolation.
  16. Eryn followed Adilie to the Inn, watching as she worked. “Should not abuse Connection,” she noted. “Powerful thing. But makes too easy. Wiser to learn other way to Connect.”
  17. Eryn nodded. “We wait.”
  18. Eryn shrugged. “Man say: have investment. Needs managers, defenders. Come to Steel Inn if want join.”
  19. Eryn paused, turning to Adilie. “Have job offer,” she told her. “Want join?”
  20. Eryn nodded, pushing open the tavern door.
  21. Eryn nodded. “Good instinct. Was strange man. Do not think Inquisitor want job, true. But should keep watch for her.”
  22. He originally gave us the trolling answer that we were unlikely to ‘see’ Kelsier in SA. And some people told me I was reading too much into it when I said that we hadn’t ‘seen’ Thaidakar either... Great question!
  23. I think it is possible that it was an aviar, who was eaten and impersonated by a Kandra. I just find it odd that Lift can heal hair but not the ‘chicken’s’ feathers. Which is rather odd and was specifically pointed out. We’ve also never seen an aviar talk, but this one did.
