  1. From what we can tell Wax returned the Investiture to the bands. Something about the way Medallion tech works seems to return the Investiture automatically after use. The question is how?
  2. @AonEne We need some info...
  3. Kelsier nodded meditatively. “And did you find him? Or did he find you?” @The Unknown Order
  4. The Survivor nodded, smiling. “Great. Then you can store your memories of your meetings with your mystery teacher. I don’t suppose he explained why he was teaching you?”
  5. @Random Bystander @The Unknown Order Kelsier allowed his expression to soften. “I’ll give you a moment to think it over. In the mean time, why don’t you tell me which bindpoints you know?”
  6. @The Unknown Order I need Meens to answer.
  7. Considering all the Alethi should sound Arabic/Israeli... probably not, no. It’s not THAT hard to find Semitic language speakers, is it?
  8. Kelsier leaned forward, smirking. “Sounds like Marie’s having fun,” he noted. “Not that it matters much to you anymore, but your crew is being slaughtered.” No more than they deserved for trying to burn the inn. There had been dozens of people inside, including Zola, and the thought infuriated Kelsier.
  9. @The Unknown Order
  10. The Survivor nodded allowing his smile to become more gentle. “See? That wasn’t so difficult. Try to think back. What did this man look like. Give me as much of a description as you can.”
  11. Yeah, that’s what I meant by law abiding. I just couldn’t come up with a better term. Thanks for finding it! And basically everything you said is why I love Kell. Especially since Brandon canonized that he really was trying to do right by the Skaa as part of his motivations which, as you noted, is a huge deal for a psychopath. And yeah, Taravangian is terrifying to me because he’s NOT a psychopath. He genuinely cares about every person he has slowly murdered. And he does it anyway. THAT is true evil. And that’s why I think he’s the best villain Brandon has ever created.
  12. Kelsier smirked. “Cat got your tongue?” He taunted. Then he mock-sighed. “I suppose you will need it though. But I had better like what you say or you won’t be keeping it.” He smiled cruelly, compounding the slight amount of Connection between them. I have other ways of getting answers. He sent the words into Meen’s mind. Then he released the other man’s lungs, jaw and tongue. @The Unknown Order He can talk now.
  13. The Survivor shook his head, bemused. Then he smiled at Meens. “That looked painful. I can make it worse. Or we can talk and then you’ll die quickly.” He shrugged. “Either works for me.” He settled himself backwards on a chair, arms loosely folded. “So Meens, how’d you learn about Hemalurgy?” @The Unknown Order
  14. “Oh, that’s right.” Kelsier smiled encouragingly at Sage. “You wanted to kick him, right? Go ahead.” He waved the blood spattered dagger idly in Meens direction. “Don’t worry; he can’t move. Blood has iron it, by the way. You may want to write that in your books.”
  15. Some. He’s mentally ill and severely broken by millenia of trauma, so has some excuse. TPBM wishes Kaladin would use CBT type techniques to better deal with his depression.
  16. Kelsier smiled cruelly. “Have fun,” he told Marie, before following Oryone into the tent. The man died quickly, an obsidian dagger tearing through his throat. Kelsier smiled, stepping over the fallen body, holding the tent’s other occupant by the iron in his blood. “Meens, I presume?” he said conversationally. “You and I have some things to discuss.”
