    "Two more down. Things are going my way," Ruin gloated. Preservation was busy giggling uncontrollably. "What's so funny?" Ruin asked, annoyed. "Tyrion Falls. It's like the name of the town." "By Adonalsium, what an awful pun," Ruin grumbled. "Awfully amazing, you mean." "It's your turn," Ruin reminded his opponent. He tapped the hourglass meaningfully. "Do try not to let the day slip away." While the mists were thick and all sensible folk were indoors and fast asleep, a message was slipped under doors and through windows. Every residence got a copy, but nobody saw who delivered it. It read: As the sun rose and chased the mists away, more worrying news spread. There were corpses. Some halfhearted attempt had been made to hide them -- they'd been stashed unceremoniously in the old mayor's manor, which had gone unused and boarded up for as long as anyone remembered. But one of the townsfolk had stumbled upon the scene, and soon everyone knew about it. Nothing stays buried in Tyrian Falls. @Furamirionind has perished! They were a Village Smoker! @Ookla the Redeemed has fallen! He was a Village Rioter! It is daybreak! Remember to vote! Ruin mused, grabbing Preservation's piece off the board and laying it carefully to the side. "It was a good move, though. Even if it didn't pan out," Ruin followed up. "It never does pay to sit passively and wait around for troubles to come knocking. They always do, in the end. You might as well get the drop on them." "...or on poor Aralis?" Preservation sighed. "Exactly." "You're only happy things are going your way," Preservation complained. "Yeah, maybe." "It won't last. You're badly underestimating the Falls if you think this is enough to break them." "Well, it's all been according to plan so far," Ruin said airily. "And you said I couldn't play the long game." "What plan is that?" Preservation sighed. Ruin grinned toothily.     Ah, no. Smokers can turn off their coppercloud. Is that not how it usually works? Well it's how I always imagined it working for this game so... We're going with it

    I’m not sure exactly how to parse this but a Smoker is able to choose whether to Smoke or not, and whether to extend the effect to another player or not

    It is not possible no, that’s the one limit on the Spiked donating roles to the village is that villagers can’t have multiple roles. At some point there’s no more room in the distro and you cannot donate additional roles. Spiked can theoretically have multiple roles, though, due to the magicks of hemalurgy. But I would assign every Spiked at least one role before considering giving anyone multiple.

    To answer both of your questions, what you are supposing is epistemically possible but not confirmed. I wouldn't announce if a role had been removed, stolen, or added prior to the game. It would rather spoil the distro mindgames I want to see o7 good idea

The burned out buildings were repaired in the blink of an eye. A new cast of villagers lived inside. Some of them had spikes. Nobody particularly remembered that this was odd. After all, the army of koloss would arrive soon, and time was of the essence. Welcome to the game! PMs are open. Go wild! As of now, everyone should have received their role messages.     Granted, you are now using Ookla the Seas as a boat. However, you should've probably tried using Ookla the Boat as a boat instead. The seas are made of water, and while water can be used for many things, a watery boat is not recommended for a good time. Cursed for your hubris you sink beneath the waves, thus bringing upon yourself the very fate you so desperately sought to avoid. On the bright side, your story lives on, and Roshar reinvents the greek tragedy genre. I wish earth had two moons.

    Yeah the stuff Tachyon linked is probably better than any explanation I could give about what kind of shenanigans we get up to in here tl;dr it's mafia, like the game but instead of sheriffs and doctors and whatnot it's seekers and lurchers because it's mistborn themed! even better, most of us don't even bite

    A good question! So, you can donate multiple copies of the same role, but there is an upper limit in practice There can't be more total roles assigned to the village than there are players on the village team So you could certainly make every roleless villager into a smoker, but after that you would sadly not be able to fit more smokers into the distro tl;dr it's Normal Tyrian except the role distro isn't picked by the GM it's picked by the Spiked on a point buy system

    Granted. You have enough motivation to finish all of your projects. But all at once. You're never motivated to do just one project at a time, you always have totally equal amounts of motivation for every project, so you can never decide which one to actually work on.
