@Araris Valerian, what happened to your vote on Shqueeves? Is it your vote that's showing up as anonymous?
-
Mark sat in one corner of the hall, studying the guests. This was his first ball and he wasn't going to make a great blunder of it. One caught his eye though. The nobleman Steel. Mark almost burst out laughing when he saw him. For some reason, for the past hour, the man had been seated and was waving around a fishing hook in the ballroom, murmuring something about frying and bigger fish. He seemed to be glaring at each and every guest, Mark included. Perhaps I should stay clear of him Mark thought.
-
Suuuuure. I think I'll take you word for it. *Hugs Arinian*
-
Or 3 enemies with one lynch perhaps?
-
3 birds with one stone eh?
-
But why do you want to break the tie if Shqueeves is going to die anyways? I mean, the more the merrier, eh? (In case you missed it, all players tied in a lynch will die)
-
I vote Araris for officially setting the keg on fire. His bloodthirstiness can't be trusted so early on, especially if he escapes from this harmless. By that logic, no one can be trusted.
-
Mark signing in here. I'm at a loss for what to say on the thread right now, except for RP.
-
Sign me up as Mark! Because I can't think of another name. So, if the smallest group has all appliances Allomancers, does one of them just get two abilities for the rest of the game? So, a player could gain two or more abilities and not be mistborn right? Because my first instinct was to stick to canon. I know it's mentioned above, but I just wanted to be sure.

Quick Fix Game 26: Stop the Madness
Mark IV replied to firstRainbowRose's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, yeah, I just now noticed that D1 started (I'd been relying on the GM PM notification to tell me when it started. Heh. ) Anyways, I haven't got my PM yet (no rush :P) and I have to sleep. So, yeah. Nothing much to contribute. Although I do find it odd how Roadwalker defense-voted Wilson when she voted for him. Not particularly suspicious (this is a blackout game after all. I need to keep an open mind) but something I think is noteworthy. Also, PMs from me coming tomorrow! Unless anyone wants to PM me first? Edit: Is rubix dead or alive? -

Yes. Winter really liked crimsn. Every faction has a faction kill. Abilities can only augment that kill. Those two aren't mutually exclusive. You may still be a neutral (what's a true neutral?) and still want to kill me. I suspect you may mean by true neutral a neutral whose win con does not force them to align with any particular faction. But, you're not reading me right. I'm saying you are not a true neutral at all. You're either an Cabalite or almost a Cabalite. (I suspect you may have read the "many neutrals have them" and said that. It would be better phrased as "many of the neutrals have them". I'm not trying to imply you're neutral. Simply that there are neutrals that have them)(however if this is not the case, then do ignore what I just said.)

You forget how Crimsn was killed. She was drowned (?) into a Lava Lake. I don't know what you call that, but in my book, that is a faction kill. (Note that any extra kill items cannot be used in addition to the faction kill. However, they may be used to enhance the faction kill (eg. Faction kill that nullifies protection)) Now, I realise that this is based on write up RP, but I'm willing to generally trust the write up RP to an extent because it also stated how Crimsn was shot (by a non-epic) Crimsn was likely killed not on suspicions that she was lying but because she said she had to kill an epic of 'unknown alignment' which is either neutral or bad news for the cabal. So, why not kill her? Unless you have evidence of some other abilities/factions (which I beseech you share) it is fairly obvious she was killed by winter. How else are the Cabal Epics supposed to kill the Reckoners? You, elenion, seem to be rather inclined to paint the Reckoners as the Elims (I mean, how do you forget that the epics can kill too?), when in fact, the reckoners have not yet killed any civilians, nor do we plan to. So, all you neutrals ( @Hemalurgic_Headshot) are safe. One exception though is that we killed BR, because she we had info that she was an SK type role and thus a threat to us. I can confirm the existence of at least two of an item called "Fake ID". They basically make you scan immune and guess what? They give the result "Loyal citizen" in green. We suspect many neutrals have them? @Ecthelion III I was hesitant about doing this, and also in a rush earlier, but I'd like to tell you we know the identity of the thief. Now, of course, you can go and hunt them down. But, what will revenge get you? Instead, we propose a deal. Let me live, and we'll arrange a deal to get you back your motion sensor. (I can assure you I'm not the thief ) We have directly helped the win conditions of many players. Helping Majestic was an accident, but we have intentionally helped Alvron (even though he died, he informed us that his win condition is fulfilled), Asterion and the unnamed Black Market dealer. We're willing to help others as well. I'd also like to state that we're quite open to cooperating with other players. However, my teammates will not be revealing themselves. So, I am the first and the last reckoner that will be revealing to the thread. If I die, I'm sorry, but we won't be able to help very directly. Also, Haven't you guys read the books? The reckoner are the good guys! I mean who wants a murderous tyrant as their leader? To all players: I ask you to side with the reckoners. I do not know if we are intended to be the elims, but if this is so, we are one of the nicest elims there's been in a while. Lastly, Arin, the thing is, I'm likely going to die of the lynch anyways. so, why not? To those scared that the epics will target them if they act against the epics, note that the epics have very few players left. They can't afford to waste a kill on non-reckoners at this point. (Also I just remembered, whoever gave me the upvote on my reveal, firstly, thank you. Secondly I would just like to say, I find it quite hilarious. )

Sorry for the double post. In a hurry. Also, Ecth, yes, it was a second black market dealer that stole your item. I know flash didn't. So, yeah. However I do not know their identity. And, yes, I'm willing to answer any questions anyone has, as long as it doesn't jeopardize my goal.

Ah! Storm it! This is the third time my post got deleted! In short: I'm a Reckoner. We tried to pull a WGG on crimsn. Didn't work very well. Protection only protects from attacks. Which is why I'm trying to defend myself. I don't get why you were voting for me, Elenion. Even if I was lying about the random protection (which I was, but that's a separate point) what would that indicate? I suspect you have what's called a fake ID, giving you the appearance of a loyal villager. Because there have been LITERALLY NONE of any other villagers killed. Does no one fine that suspicious? More epics have died than villagers! More everything has died than "Loyal Villagers"! Lastly, @Rebecca @Hemalurgic_Headshot @Sami @RippleGylf. Anything to say? Phew. Let's hope this doesn't get deleted.

Awww. You're the nicest person, Ecth. Thank you for pointing out the nice design in my picture, although I think you made the picture a little off centre. But, it's fine. Also, mind taking that vote off of me? It's the black market dealer you should ask. Not me. They'll be able to tell you who took your items. If I did actually have a protect item, do you really believe that there's just one protect item in the whole game? Because unless you believe that, and are willing to kill someone over it, I'd request you to remove your vote. So, why exactly are you voting for me? You believe I lied about either having a protection item or being protected by a teammate. But how does that indicate anything? You're literally lynching me for telling you how I was protected. I can't make up the truth. If your intuition says it's wrong, then adjust your intuition. Also, what is so very improbable about me being protected? The attention I garnered last cycle certainly put me on someone's hit list. So, why would it necessarily be insufficient to make someone think "Oh. I should protect Mark." This is the exact reason I put this in my info post thing last cycle: You know the best part? Claiming any of the three possibilities would still get your vote on me. Here's why: -Elenion From Last Cycle Also, I can't help but notice you seem a little too intent on killing me, but maybe that's just me. Lastly, Elenion, after 12 deaths and not a single "Loyal Citizen" and just one malcontent, I'm rather inclined to think my entire theory was wrong. Your claim here appears to be far more out of the blue as compared to mine. You seem to be grasping @Straws there with reasoning like "The GMs wanted to play a joke". It seems rather unlikely. I'd prefer to find out whether your claim is true. Firstly, what's fwiw? Secondly, why? What are your suspicions? Is there a specific reason you're voting on me? You're a very confusing person, Megasif. P.S. I'm sorry, Straw, for disturbing you. I couldn't resist the joke.

I... I.... *Cries* I... Have no idea who saved me. THANK YOU! to whoever saved me. I have no items that can protect me from an attack. So, thank you for saving me. On a side note, I suspect that the SK theory was correct, seeing as that was the first time for a simultaneous third kill. What do you guys think?

Oh god! Yes, I mixed up my notes. Yes, Jon had only one item. Which makes me slightly uneasy about my assumptions. I'm still fairly confident about the malcontents thing, but I'm not very sure about there being the same number of people in both teams now.

Just like I said I did. It's all there in the thread. Basically, 3 of the four factions are mentioned by name. The reckoners, the Cabal and the malcontents. Notice the wording " [Roadwalker] was a malcontent". So, we know malcontents is a faction. If what Elenion ( I think it was elenion) says is true, there's a faction called loyal citizens. I'm inclined to believe him because it sort of makes sense (I can't really put it into words). Now, note that whenever an epic died, their powers were revealed and whenever a reckoner died, their items were revealed. We've had two epics die, and each had two powers. We've seen a reckoner die, and they had exactly two items. So, I conjecture that each team member on both sides started with two abilities granted by power in case of the epics and item in case of the reckoners. Now, the malcontent dies with no items. Given that this is a faction game, I'd think the GMs would want to make it as equalised as possible. So, as the Reckoner analogue to the Loyal citizens, you have the malcontents who haven't spoken up due to the stigma against the reckoners since the start of this game. As a note to both factions, faction supporters and other neutrals, I would like to request you to not kill me sharing this info. I'm simply trying to generate discussion in thread. Re: Vote manip. Ah. I see. Edit: ninja'd twice. I'd forgotten that Ecth had said that.

But wasn't there vote manipulation on D2 where Jon was lynched? Also, If what Arinian says is true, Sedatives allow vote manip (although I did not know this at the time). But how's it an SE game without vote manip. Also, if it's information you want, just ask. Here's what I know so far: There's four factions in this game. Perhaps a hidden fifth, but I doubt it. The first faction is the Epic Cabal. Their main goal is to eliminate the Reckoners and secure their rule over the city (They, however, do not need to harm the villagers). They likely consist of 4-5 players, two of whom are dead. They generally don't possess any items, but have two powers each. The second faction is the Reckoners. Their main goal is to finish off the Epic Cabal (They, however, do not need to harm the villagers). They start with two items (to compensate for their lack of powers). They consist of the same number of players that the Cabal does (i.e. 4-5 players) The third faction is the Loyal citizens. Their win condition is that the Epic Cabal wins the Game. They likely start out with no inherent abilities (unlike the epics), but may obtain items from the black market/ thieves or something. The fourth Faction is the Malcontents. They're the Reckoner analogue to the Loyal Citizen. Their main goal is to make sure that the reckoners win against the Epics. They too most likely start an item but with no inherent abilities, but may gain items ... blah blah.... I've not seen any signs of a fifth faction, So I'm willing to discount this possibility for now. Oh. And also, there's neutrals. I will give out more info if you let me live. I know this is all info that one could have gleaned from the thread itself, but I thought I'd show what I have. I also encourage other people to put out basic information they've gathered on the thread. IMO, the sooner we can guess at the nature of things, the more fun this game will be. (although that is just my opinion. It's your choice if you want to remain shrouded in darkness) Also, Alv, I couldn't help but notice, you could apply the exact same argument to what eternum did. (On a side note, IIRC, winter started the vote off on mint, but that's irrelevant). Though Eternum's motive was to protect himself, his actions still resulted in mint's death. He is as guilty of killing mint as I or Arin are. Secondly, you say you've seen no sign of vote manip this game and you assume that I am also complacent with this info. So, why do you assume that I had some ulterior motive in killing mint? If you believed that the votes once cast could not be manipulated, then how would any of us voting change the result? I also see that you aren't asking us whether we thought there was vote manip. So, it's obvious that you thought we wanted make 100% sure that mint died despite the lack of vote manip. (That last paragraph was confusing to type out. If it confused you, the reader too, just read the last sentence. That should serve as a good summary) (Also note that I'm not saying vote for eternum, but simply pointing things out) There are people passing information around in the dark alleys and ditches background. I don't understand what you stood to gain specifically from mint. All this vote-y business makes my finger itch. Alv. I have a gut feeling that you were trying to save eternum. Which is fishy. And turtley. Also jellyfish-y. I have a feeling I'm not going to survive this lynch now, so late into the cycle. Edit: The write-up may not be factually accurate and should not be used as basis for a vote. I have a GM clarification regarding this.

I have a sneaking suspicion that mint's lover has become an SK kind of a role now. Also, lavalake! The very first victim of a lava lake (pre game, I mean) turned out to be lavalake themself! This is rather exciting! Anyways, I shall do some analysis of all this in a while. I must sleep now.
