About the 10 gas giants [AU Spoilers]
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to Full Metal Rithmatist's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well we know Odium cant leave because Honour specifically did SOMETHING that has trapped him there. and the set up of those 10 planets even without the names is highly suspect. -
Darkness [Edgedancer Spoilers]
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to thegatorgirl00's topic in Stormlight Archive
He just assumed he had a spren because he thought he was a normal skybreaker at that point. and not the herald. -
My first thought on seeing the system map for the rosharan solar system is that the 10 suspiciously similar gas giants via some connection with the heralds form the barrier that keeps Odium imprisoned within the roshar system. Especially as all 10 are on the outer edge of the system.

[AU Spoilers] So...Braize?
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to VirtuousTraveller's topic in Cosmere Discussion
There is however ten of these suspiciously similar gas giants, and ten heralds. Given that they are on the outside of the solar system its my belief that the ten gas giants by some bond with the heralds form the barrier that keeps odium with the Rosharan system.- 9 replies

godmetals and supercolliders
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to ecohansen's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It also raises my favourite question What an element is is determined by how many protons the core has. 1 is hydrogen 2 is helium 3 is lithium e.t.c then HOW MANY do god metals have. if they have a unique amount then they are a universal constant and thus could come from anywhere. including places outside scadrial. Also they would have to have a VERY HIGH number of protons for them to be outside the range of being one of the already existing elements. If they DO NOT have a unique amount then this means god metals are in fact just a uniquely invested form of metals that already exist. Atium could be say Yttrium for all we know. The third option is that are not formed of atoms at all and is thus even more strange. -
It is the longest marvel movie to date. And has more heroes in it than any other movie. It is literally more of an avengers movie than the Avengers movies.

Why not 45 combinations?
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to Mr. Staccato's topic in Stormlight Archive
Because the pairings are basically a circle. or more accurately this. Where each corner is a power and each side is an order connected to two powers. -
Longer White Sands preview
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to The Invested Beard's topic in White Sand
So if it takes sunlight to re-whiten the sand and restore its power than i guess sand masters are pretty boned on the darkside of the planet huh. Also does that mean the investiture in the sand is coming from the star ? reminds me of a post i saw of someone asking brandon if the star is the shard. -

The Fixing of Aons (Spoilers?)
Full Metal Rithmatist replied to Volratho's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
it bothers me more that 99% of the aons dont have any of the base lines in at all and yet their not being a chasmline is somehow relevant. Or that an entire society of elantrians with huge amounts of aon knowledge didnt think to draw a line in the dirt next to the city. -
