  1. Oh, okay. That makes things a bit different then. I thought you were completely new.
  2. Maybe it's just me, but Eternum's knowledge of terminology here feels a little weird. It feels like he's already familiar with a lot of stuff, which could happen if he was an elim. Off the top of my head, I haven't been feeling the same effort with Orlok that I normally do. He's said that his playstyle would be different so he could have some time with El, but I haven't felt the same sense of solviness that I normally feel. Orlok's null for me, and considering that's him, it might be elimy. I'll look at his posts later, after I've slept. Off the top of my head (again, I need to sleep soon), I kind of trust Lopen. Not for his attack, but because he feels like he's been putting effort into the game, which he has admitted is something he doesn't do as an elim.
  3. ...You do know that WGGs are a thing, right? @Elbereth, will we get clarification on if that was an Escaller extra life or Lightweaver protect?
  4. I agree with what Orlok said about Elith not voting on PK being suspicious. @The Young Bard, why did you say that if Eternum (it was Eternum, right?) was elim, then Lopen, Orlok, or I had to be elim too? @Arinian, I split up my ISO of Stick into two posts because I wasn't sure if I could safely multiquote eithout losing my post and because my dad had come home, which lead to a loss of internet/device access.
  5. Well. Whoops. @Darkness Ascendant, what did you talk about with Stick? EDIT: I may be less active over the weekend, since I'll have less reliable internet/device access.
  6. Here starts an ISO of things Stick has said C2 that have stuck out. I've already lost this post once before, so please bear with me if things seem rather rushed, because I would like to finish this ISO. Stick asks questions and says stuff in RP. I think she suggests that the elims might have killed Drake to frame her, which seems weird because I don't remember Drake pushing the Stick lynch very hard, if he ever voted on her. More questions. NAI. So, misinterpretation of a post. Stick is rather vague about this. I think this could be for village or elim reasons. I have a tinfoil theory that if she is an elim, she could be hyping up the mystery of this rather useless subject to get villagers to focus on it instead. Clarification, NAI. Question, I'd say it's NAI. More NAI stuff. Stick put in the effort to look up what happened in the previous cycle. The effort feels villagery. Recordkeeping: Suspicions: Roadwalker, Elith This is the first post where Stick expresses suspicion of a player C2. She throws it into RP offhandedly and never explains why she's suspicious of these two players. I didn't respond at the time (I was on mobile and didn't want to look up who Sebas and Silver were), but now it feels very weird. I suppose she was asking Elith questions, but I'm not seeing much of a progression of thought here. This post actually came while I was trying to make the first C2 ISO post, which made me lose that one and start all over again. If I seemed a little peeved when talking about this post, that might be why. Okay, a lot of Stick's defense seems to be that I misinterpreted stuff. However, at the risk of more confirmation bias, I would like to point out that that's the beauty of hedging -- once accused, you can say that the accuser misinterpreted what you said and thus has no case against you. I don't quite understand the reasoning of that vote on me. I thought that tunneling happened to overzealous villagers who locked onto one person and thought everything they did, no matter what, was suspicious? In that case, why would Stick vote on someone she thinks is a villager? It's possible that Stick meant to say that I'm an elim who is throwing suspicion onto her by dogging her and saying everything she does is suspicious, but if she did mean that, she could have been more specific. Stick posted while I was typing this (again), so here's her new post, which I don't want to quote because it might make me lose this whole thing again. I'm not doing record keeping on that, since the post pretty much speaks for itself. Putting me and Elith as elims is consistent. Megasif as village seems consistent, but Ecth as maybe village feels a little less so. Bleh have to go Stick EDIT: Sorry about that, I was afraid that I'd lose this entire post if I didn't send it immediately. As you can see, I think Stick is more likely elim than not. [/black]
  7. Here begins an ISO of Stick. It's going to be in two posts, one where I pull out posts from the locked thread, link then, and comment on them, and another post where I quote everything Stick has said in this thread and comment on it. I wish I could multiquote from locked threads. Stick puts out a theoretical question and answers it. She also summons El to answer a question. She doesn't really say much in that post. Recordkeeping of Stick's reads: Null: Rae Stick quotes Megasif, who asks about the Truthless, and answers with a description of the Truthless alignment. More recordkeeping. Stick says that she wants to vote on Ecth, but there's no reason to. Then she says that Eternum is suspicious but she doesn't want to vote on him because it's D1 and he's new. Both of these posts feel like hedging. The only thing of substance she really says is that she thinks I'm Truthless. This post feels a little elim-like. Truthless: Rae Suspicious of: Ecth, Eternum Stick defends herself from Drake by saying that just because he made some elim mistake doesn't mean she did too. I don't know what Drake is referring to, since I didn't see that post, so I'll have to look it up later. Out of context though, it's not a very strong defense and feels elimy. Winter says she agrees with Drake that Stick is suspicious. Stick asks for more reasoning. Her defense still isn't very strong. It's more ridiculing Drake's argument than anything else. Stick hedges more here. First she says that she doesn't want to vote on Ecth because there isn't a lot of reasoning and he always dies early. Later on, she says that she would support a lynch on him. These two positions are irreconciliable, and it looks like Stick wants to say something without committing herself. She says that she doesn't like the Flash lynch and he feels null. Then she says that she's suspicious of Megasif and would be okay with lynching him. She ISOs him later. This post also feels rather elimy. Recordkeeping: Suspicious of: Ecth, Mega Null: Flash Here Stick asks if the Truthless is technically village, which is weird, considering that she answered Megasif about what a Truthless does when killed. Stick ISOs Megasif here. She asks him some quesrions about what he has said. At the end, she concludes that she wouldn't want a Megasif lynch, because she think he's village but still is wary. This feels off. First Stick says that she would be okay with a Megasif lynch, then she says she wouldn't be? I realize that villagers can and do change their minds, but I don't like the inconsistency here. Recordkeeping: Null/Village: Megasif Here Stick wonders about the possibility of an elim Truthless. It really doesn't feel like she read the rules clearly. That's all of Stick's C1 posts.
  8. Malnar's arms still ached slightly from those storming pushups. He rubbed his arms and scowled. When had he gotten so out of shape? Dalan would never let him hear the end of it if he knew. "Storming boot," he muttered at Spiff's back. The man approached Aaliyah and then tripped her. "Not fair!" Johnny cried. He rushed forwards and tripped Spiff. Malnar facepalmed. Spiff might not be fair, but he was an officer. Johnny would be punished for that later. Malnar was sure of it. He watched with horrified fascination as Spiff fell onto some other soldier, who fell onto some other soldier, and on and on and on. And then it was discovered that another two people were dead. Stormfather, what a mess. When Captain Spiff started singing, Malnar had had enough. He put his hands over his ears and walked away as fast as he could. Chana's heart, if he didn't have to be here with this bunch of idiots, he could be back in his tent, snuggling against Dalan and snoring peacefully. A tree almost fell on Malnar. He jumped back in suprise. What was a drop-dead tree doing here? Didn't they grow closer to Azir? It looked like a sapling that someone had carved a face into. Malnar leaned in and pulled one of the leaves closer to inspect. @_Stick_
  9. Yes, I PMed Ecth. I PMed him only because I was only asking that question to people who were online at the time. Ecth was the only player on in Discord at the time and I'd gone through everyone viewing the thread. I figured a PM might catch his attention more than a mention. After PMing Ecth, I had to sleep, so I didn't PM anyone else. Why is this an issue again?
  10. @The Young Bard, the elims might also have protection or extra lives to balance out the possibility that they mght vote on the Truthless, so I wouldn't say that they have no reason to have a Lightweaver.
  11. Bah, @Orlok Tsubodai, I thought about things more and don't really like the Flash lynch much. It feels like another thing that could have spiraled out of proportion. Overlordjebus/Flash being w/w was a tenous thing. New post so El can see retraction. Bye.
  12. @Orlok Tsubodai, everybody has a role. Some of them are extra flavorful. I'm kind of suspicious of the people jumping onto Ecth now. I looked at my GM PM, and I think his response is entirely plausible as a villager. If anything, I think he just outed his role. He also is known for dying early, so maybe the elim team sees him as an easy lynch. I probably won't be on near rollover, unfortunately.
  13. It's somehing I've seen MU players doing but not something I think I can do. Just something I noted.
  14. Here starts an Eternum ISO. Eternum starts out putting joke suspicion on Flash. It was probably a joke? Eternum wrote that post himself, so he should know if he intended to write a joke or not. Eternum says that he's new, but he seems familiar with some of the terminology and talks about having gut reads multiple times later. The above thing feels like he wants to remind people he's new so he can get some newbie lenience, which seems more likely for an elim to do. RP, NAI. Okay, so Eternum says I'm probably elim. He conflates role and alignment. So here Eternum says that I might be village. And here Eternum says that Megasif might be elim. Before, he said that there weren't enough clues to determine alignment, but all of the things he's drawing from happened before that post where he said "we honestly don't know enough to be suspicious of anyone." He's not very consistent here. So he still says that Megasif is null ir elim and that I'm village. Eternum seems kind of defensive here. I know that some people expressed suspicion on him, but it's like he's expecting people to dogpile on him. I think that's slightly more likely as an elim than as a villager. I wonder what he's paranoid about... I feel like if I stare at this long enough, I should be able to pull out some Stick/Eternum connection, whether w/w or v/v or w/v or v/w. I think that effort would be better spent doing something else though. So Eternum puts Winter as village. NAI. NAI. This post sticks out a lot. When was it ever established that I was village? It's not even a mostly consensus read among people inthread. It reads like he already knows everyone's alignments. NAI. After going through all of these, I think Eternum is null or elim. He has a few questionable posts that don't seem very villagery. It is his first game, though, so I won't vote to lynch him C1.
  15. Eternum, use square brackets, like these ones. [ ]
  16. The code to change color is (color=red) whatever text you want here and then (/color) but with square brackets instead. If you want another color, just change the color inside the opening tag.
  17. @winter devotion, NAI stands for non-alignment indicative.
  18. @All, I asked about alignment and thoughts about it because there was almost nothing inthread and I was bored. I saw a player in one of thr MU games do it. Reads: I have a slight village read on Lopen for putting out his reads so early. It seems like he's actually making an effort to solve the game. Winter feels very, very slightly village. I feel like they were just trying to be clever by making an IKYK. I doubt they're Truthless. Flash felt slightly OMGUSsy when responding to PK. When Stick joked around about her alignment, it felt slightly elimy or NAI. Something that stood out to me was when Overlordjebus said that DA was being slightly accusatory. It feels like he could be trying to discredit DA's read without overtly defending Flash. So, Flash.
  19. Good to know, Orlok. So I can measure your alignment by how much free time you seem to have, huh? About pointing out the lack of elim alignments thing -- I pointed it out because I'm happy I haven't been forced to figure out how to get onto Google Drive on a phone. @Darkness Ascendant, I see you there. What're your thoughts on the game? What alignment are you and what are your feelings about it?
  20. That's interesting, I'd have thought that being an elim would take more time and effort than being village.
  21. Okay. I got village (again, I havn't been an elim for maybe a year or so). Currently I'm waiting for more thread discussion to pop up. I'm kind of bored, so I'm prodding people to talk. I saw someone asking similar questions in the MU game, and I figured that it's better than awkward silence where everyone is waiting for others to speak so we have something to analyze. You're not getting my role out of me this early. EDIT: @Orlok Tsubodai, I see you viewing the thread too. You said you wanted discussion, so what are your thoughts, alignment, and feelings about getting that alignment? EDIT 2: @Paranoid King, you're here, so why don't you do that too?
  22. @Megasif, I also see you viewing the thread. What thoughts do you have? What alignment did you get, and how do you feel about it? EDIT: you too, @Sami. What alignment did you get and how do you feel about it?
  23. @TheMightyLopen! I see you viewing the thread. What thoughts do you have? What alignment did you get from your GM PM, and how do you feel about it?
  24. The clarifications post, which now says that questions on secret roles or alignments is PAFO, was updated 8 hours ago, if it helps.
  25. What the storms had just happened? The squires all looked at each other, then back at Brightness Kenara. Then back at each other. Finally, Malnar swore and ran over to Kenara's body. Her eyes were burnt and blackened, as if she'd been killed by a Shardblade. But she hadn't been killed by a Shardblade. There was no Shardblade. Right? How could she be dead? He felt for her pulse. Her body was still warm, but he couldn't feel anything else. "If this is a some storming hazing ritual, I'll -- I'll hang you up in the next highstorm, Commander or not," Malnar muttered to Kenara. She didn't reply. Blood spilled from a hole in her chest, staining her bright havah. Malnar checked her pulse again. She was dead. Blackbane? No, blackbane didn't burn out the eyes this way. It had to have been a Shardblade, somehow. "Brightness Kenara is -- she's dead!" Malnar said. "Who here is next in command?"
