  1. Alright, that was useless. Store closed too early, so I can't do network analysis today. Once I finish dinner, I'll stop procrastinating and look at Lopen's posts. I feel like Rand is a higher priority lynch than Aman. Rand was up for the lynch yesterday, said that thing against Neutrals, and is an important part of the whole Aman - Rand thing.
  2. What's that? @Yitzi2, I don't get why you're voting on Aman. As far as I can tell, you're saying this: 1. Aman and Rand probably aren't elim buddies. 2. Something to do with Randuir's possible motivations on voting for Joe, if he was an elim? 3. Aman made an argument about why Neutrals should help elims. However, Randuir says that he made that argument, not Aman. 4. Aman had a village read on Cloud, who said something that contradicted with what Aman had said. 5. Aman voted on Jon, who was village. You yourself say that it's NAI this early in the game. Nothing there makes a strong (or even weak) case for lynching Aman. I really, really don't get your reasoning.
  3. I'm going to take a look at Lopen next. If all goes well, I should be able to do some network analysis of D1. It depends on if I can buy the right supplies, because I am not going to waste six or more sheets of paper just for one game.
  4. Actually, I didn't reveal it. Straw did, and I followed up. I think it's fairly important to confirm that yes, I thought Joe was telling the truth about being Neutral because I got a very similar PM as well. I also thought I could clarify by giving Joe's stated motivations. I'm trying to work on my transparency, because in LG33, I saw Wilson highlight how it helps the village to have more information, especially if the elims know it already or everyone almost knows. A lot of people tend to gut read me as elim. I suppose I'm just an inherently suspicious person.
  5. Flash, more opinions are always better, especially during the day. Nobody (except for the elims) can be sure that anybody else is an elim D1. Even gut reads can be useful. Sometimes bringing up a gut read can inspire others to look at that player. Do you have any specific posts that I've made that give you bad gut feelings about me? I know I haven't been the most engaged player recently -- I have a bad habit of skimming the thread but not thinking very much about it.
  6. Storms I finished the rest of the post and LOST the WHOLE THING! That's the problem with editing... I'll just put my conclusion here: Rand has a lot of anti-Neutral sentiment. He switched from wanting to not lynch the Convict D1 for the PO to... wanting to lynch the Convict D1. I'm not sure if he's genuine about this or not. It's possible that he's an elim that wants to antagonize the Neutrals to swing elim. Has he ever played a game with Neutrals before? If he has, that would be a good game to look at. Rand's paying a lot of attention to the game. Unfortunately, I feel that he's such a high-volume poster that it's NAI.
  7. Rand starts with a giant post with role advice. He says he writes out all of his role advice before the game starts, so I'll ignore it. His first post that he writes knowing his alignment mentions the PO right off the bat. It seems like he's paying attention to the Neutrals and is already slightly antagonistic. Then, he responds to what El said about his advice for Tineyes in a massive post with lotz of quotes. Stick asked about Orlok's win con, and Rand responds, which shows that he's been reading the rules. Dalinar asks why all the Neutrals don't just claim to avoid getting attacked. Rand says that he'd prefer to lynch the Thief and PO, because those roles are detrimental to the village. Randuir does a bit of banter. NAI. Rand makes another massive post. He says that he thinks Straw could be the elim Tineye/the elims could have a Tineye. I'm not very sure why he thinks this. He mentions that Stink and Straw could be the PO and Convict, respectively. I'm curious why Rand doesn't vote on Stink, since earlier he said that the PO's goal is bad for the village. He asks Crimsn if she's trying to play the newbie card. Then he puts up a vote rally, which shows that he's paying attention. I'm starting to notoce a big focus on Neutrals. Rand summons Joe to respond to Straw talking about Joe's PM offer. Rand says that Straw is probably village and that Joe was probably a villager trying to see if Straw was an elim. Joe actually did do something similar in LG21, though it's not something I'd expect Rand to know about. Straw says that the numbers-based PMs were made by PK, and Rand apologizes. Rand votes on Joe, beacause he doesn't want to leave a Neutral alive who will work with elims. We see more of Rand's anti-Neutral sentiment. NOTE: I'm posting this now to check the rules quickly. If nobody posts inbetween that time, I'll edit the rest of what I want to say into this post.
  8. Alright, I got 18 screenshots of Yitzi's posts with a standard Samsung Galaxy S6 and accessing this through the mobile site. I got 26 screenshots of Rand's posts. Rand speaks a lot, and he has some big walls of texts in the beginning. I'll get an analysis of this up soon. Analyzing from mobile sucks.
  9. @_Stick_, mind explaining that to the people who haven't had the luxury of spectating the Mafia Universe Championship thing? As the day wore on, Julie's stomach grumbled with increasing intensity. She tried to take her mind off of her hunger by adding more furniture to the barricade and shouting more slogans at the othet side, but it didn't work. Her belly remained as empty-feeling as before. "Lukas, can we, well, can I go inside to see of anyone has food? I know it's not lunchtime, but maybe somebody will have something?" @Drake Marshall Also, anyone else want to RP? @OrlokTsubodai @Elbereth @Amanuensis @randuir ?
  10. Thoughts on Yitzi: I think he's generally familiar with the rules, but doesn't know all the details. He's probably not the PO. Ehen Yitzi was listing out all of the options for what Joe could be, he didn't take into account that the PO already knows who the Convict is. Yitzi also thought that Rand could have been the PO or antagonizing the Neutrals, which is something I've thought too. I'm kind of interested in why he thought the PO has incentives to help the elims late game. He engaged with Aman about Rand, so I get the feeling that he was really giving thought into the situation. I have a slight townlean on Yitzi for now.
  11. @Yitzi2, I'm a girl, by the way. Normally, when RPing, I try to get some interaction, especially if the character I'm writing doesn't have a very strong story by themself. I made a PM with Drake for RP planning, but it hasn't been very active. I'd like to have 48 hour nights. PMs are great.
  12. Honestly, when you put it like that, it gives me a slight gut suspicion of you. It's very minor, but the way you worded it sounds kind of like an excuse. I'll go through your posts later.
  13. Jeez, D1 had so much stuff in it. Congrats to everyone who helped make it the 19 page monstrosity it is.
  14. Uh.... @Amanuensis, I still don't really get your point about execution. Neutrals don't have the ability to kill Rand, all they know is that someone that might be a villager wants them dead. I don't see how that places a target on his head or is a dangerous move.
  15. Aman, I don't see why only a villager would make that mistake. I remember in LG26, I was an elim-neutral. I suggested something that I knew would aggravate Wilson. I deliberately did it to try to get her angry at the village and less likely to work with them. Can you please explain what you mean by the execution?
  16. "Tariffs are horrible," Julie said. "My family does fashion, and every time we import cloth, we get taxed, and every time we ship things out to the other cities, we get taxed. It's tyranny, I tell you! My econ professor at UNS -- he's amazing, by the way -- calls it 'taxation without representation,' says it's meant to keep the outer cities down." She stopped to take a breath and set the table down. Then, she picked it back up again and continued dragging it over. "Let's toss on the count of three," Julie said. "One... two... three!" The table landed somewhere towards the bottom of the barricade. Julie glanced towards the sky. "Do you think they'll feed us?" she asked. "Normally, I eat lunch around this time, and I'm getting a little hungry. They won't let us starve, right?" Wow I got ninjaed by Jondesu. And a whole bunch of other people. Whoops. But as of now, I'm writing RP and can't reload or respond quickly because otherwise I might lose what I've written... >.< Jondesu. @Yitzi2, which Neutrals do you think Rand could be, then?
  17. I'm retracting from Straw for now because votes feel kind of stagnant now. Jondesu, now that there are a lot more posts, mind giving us your thoughts? Your previous posts seemed like a lot of filler.
  18. We all would like it if you also included reasons for why you have this or that read. Do you mind at least saying "I feel it in my gut" or "I'll explain this in my wall of text later", if you won't say now?
  19. I've reread that group PM, and I don't feel that many particularly interesting things were said. Problem is, I'd rather not lynch a neutral just for being a neutral. I rather like the idea of working with them, and would prefer not to alienate them right off the bat. Can we have a vote tally please?
  20. See what Stink said below. Also, Straw, you haven't been doing or daying very much that I can see. Joe's not being terribly helpful, since he's Neutral, but at least he's impacting the game. If you were removed from the game, it doesn't seem like things will change very much. You're not creating much useful discussion, you're not throwing down bombshell reveals, you're not speaking usefully in the group PMs that you created. So why would I want you alive over Joe?
  21. I think it's a bad idea to kill Joe just because he's Neutral. His win con is to have either him survive or his ward survive. The PO's win con is to lynch Joe or, if Joe dies without being lynched, get lynched. If we're going to lynch Joe, we should get something out of the PO. Really, why would we ever want to complete the PO's win con D1 for free? The PO needs at least two votes for a lynch, and they only have one. Now that we know who the Convict is, there's no way they can get the Convict lynched by accident. The extra votes have to come from either villagers or elims. Until the PO complete's their win con of lynching the Convict, they are at the mercy of everyone else. There's no guarentee that we can strike some sort of deal with the PO, but if Joe stays alive at least we have some leverage. EDIT: Straw. No reason to kill Joe yet.
