    I'm not sure if this is why everyone has trouble, but I think it's because when you name a character, it signifies that they are done. You know who they are and what purpose they play in the world you have created, and if you haven't done that, you can't name them.

    It's suggested that that particular quote from Hoid is referring to Adonalsium being shattered, and possibly being unable to be reformed. I honestly don't know if that's true, but since Hoid was name dropping Adonalsium at that point, it's likely that Hoid was talking about Adonalsium at the time.

    I enjoyed it, and I am currently the only member of my family who has seen it. I have the ability to watch a show once and quote it from memory. This is becoming a detriment to me. "Is that even possible?" "I never ask that question until after I've done it." I watched it once.

    The person who thinks that he's Taln can't be a Knight Radiant unless he is not Talenel. Talenel is a Herald. So who is this person? We might want to devote more WoBs to this.

    I view autistic people as being superheroes in their own right. They tend to really be good at one or two subjects, and deficit in others (especially social skills) but in those subjects, they are unparalleled. I say go for it, just be careful.

    I think it's Ed-glee because it makes more phonetic sense. In any case, we don't know much about how to pronounce Sandersonian names. Elantris was E-lon-tris, instead of E-lan-tris like I thought.

    I think Roshar's focus is symmetry. Think about it. The Shardworlds have two forms of written language: one the Shards on the world can read, and one they cannot. Case in point: writing on metal. The artisans script on Nalthis. The Aons on Sel. The glyphs on Roshar.
