    There aren't really any flying birds on Roshar, or if there are, they are all in Shinovar. And skyeels look nothing like men. Basically, people would have noticed the fact that a guy was flying through the air.

    I just warn. What they do afterwards is up to them. I have noticed an increase of spike acceptances lately.

    The usefulness of anything is subject to conditions. Independent of any other magic systems, aluminum Mistings are quite useless. However, on Threnody, burning aluminum can help prevent death or injury by shades. Your blade may be largely useless, but allow it to flourish and it may surprise you. Thoughtward! That was encouraging! I challenge all theories, both hopeful ones and discouraging.

    Welcome to the Shard! Your ideas are good, and it will indeed be interesting to see what the applications will be. There are some members of the Shard that give out cookies. These are Hemalurgic spikes and should be refused unless you want a piece of metal stabbed into you. The root beer is harmless.

    So, in Astoria, I want to establish an Epic named Whiskey who can turn water into alcohol. Any type of alcohol, but whiskey is easiest. This guy runs his own little empire of bars and pubs. I have no real plans for him, just that he runs every bar in Astoria.
