Because OP found out that the word "reshi" can be found in both books and was wondering about a secret connection.

I have noticed that there are a few topics in *general Brandon discussion* that seem to be spam-adds. I downvotet those but I don't know how to file a report for something lije this. Thank you for your answers.

Wax sister... You know, the person who all this fuss is about. Wayne being Wayne is an oddly satesfying answer.

It seems like another manipulation to me that venDel reacts that way. I mean aren't kandras ment to be perfect actors? I have another speculation how the book might end but I dont know if thats allowed here so I put it in spoilertags And the most important question of all: can wayne read?? I thought it was mentioned in SoS that he couldn't. Im confused.

I have a very very strong feeling that dalinar is going to die until the end of book 5. Im also quite shure that one of kaladins parents is already dead.

Could the theory that humming supports soulcasting come from the sounds the cryptics make? Just a thought I actually like the idea with the rhythms.

speculation Southern people and metallic arts
Shaukan-son-Hasweth replied to StarFox's topic in Mistborn
But you need a spren to make fabrials work. And I think you would have to invest a machine somehow to make it use the magic system(like awaken it). -
speculation Southern people and metallic arts
Shaukan-son-Hasweth replied to StarFox's topic in Mistborn
But as I understood the aquirement of magic in the cosmere is that the kind of magic you use is keyed to your soul. So how would a soulless machine get access to the metallic arts. Maybe giving it a soul through hemalurgic spikes... -
I liked the magic and the idea of the university. I think I would habe enjoyed those books more if there were other viewpoints than kvotes. He is ment to be a brilliant mind but in most situations he fails to use common sense. And denna...*(roles eyes excessively) The adem where the best part for me. But tastes are diffrent and thata just good.

Yes, the inquisitor made her burn aluminum bevor the lord ruler ripped it out. Otherwisr she could have used the mists much erlier.

The cultures of the new world
Shaukan-son-Hasweth replied to Shaukan-son-Hasweth's topic in Mistborn
I can understand all your points. And I would have expected this outcome if the events in WoA and HoA wouldn't have taken place at it was just society living on after the defeat of the lord ruler. But that a complete reset of the world with spook and ham would change so little disappoints me. At least I would have expected new groups of interest to form here. Seems like proof that scadrians are indeed of preservation. That's why im looking forward to see more of the roughs.(are there nobles in the roughs). And I hope we see how the koloss live now, and what will happen to them when scadrial gets more and more modern. And especially the southern continent. -
Hi 17 sharders. Since I have read AoL and SoS I thought about the new society that established after harmonies accession. There are a few things that bug me a little. 1.the terris people: after reading the scene with grandmother v in the village, I was confused that the terris people are so hostile towards everyone else and promoting almost the same ideals that made rashek kill alendi. They of all people should know that race doesent define goodness. They were suppressed bz one of their own for 1000 years. It seems so odd to me that the people that determined their lives towards restoring and preserving foreign cultures are now so uncooperative. 2. Surviverist nobels and the existence of nobility: I just don't understand the skaa. While the world was about to drown in ashes they fought against nobility with the resources they could get. But after they find themselves in a world restored just as their idole kelsier promised and a world where the nobles had no material advantage anymore theu decide to just obey them again?? An then theres nobles that believe in the survivor who had to be convinced bu vin to at least not just kill them all. Overall it seems strange to me how little the society of the new world has changed despite the access to the words of founding. Now I would like to know how zou feel about those points. Do you think the new society is fitting its world? What did you expect to come after the final accession? (Sorry for the bad English)

I'm sorry. I did mean iron. Although copperkeep(fitting name) made a good point. No matter whos right i bet brandon will make something awesome.
-
Why is everybody so sure that componding copper cant give your Information that has not been stored. Compounding gold gives you weight that was not stored. Electrum, atium and malatium give you Information of another time when burned.
-
I have a theory that compunding copper makes you habe a vision of the moment when you got the stored information
-
Yeah thanks for the fast answer I didnt find the post myself

I was wondering, if for example a Keeper/full Ferruchemist stores weight in an ironmind and the iron is now turned into steel, would he/she be able to acess it. Would it be stored weight or speed? The same questiom goes for making a pure metal out of an alloy. I'm exited for your answers.

I think that the number 10 comes from the idea that Honors intent could be divided in 10 honorable aktions. Protecting(Windrunners), bringing people together(Bondsmiths), preserve justice(Skybreakers), remembering the forgotten/disadvantaged (Edgedancers) etc. But the lies of the Lightweavers mess a little mit my theory

What Brandon Sanderson has taught us.
Shaukan-son-Hasweth replied to Darkness Ascendant's topic in Stormlight Archive
For me it was Jasnah. Her way of being an Atheist has influenced my view on religion greatly. “Let the Vorin believe as they wish—the wise among them will find goodness and solace in their faith; the fools would be fools no matter what they believed.” —Jasnah to Shallan [17] You will find wise men in any religion, Shallan, and good men in every nation. Those who truly seek wisdom are those who will acknowledge the virtue in their adversaries and who will learn from those who disabuse them of error. All others—heretic, Vorin, Ysperist, or Maakian—are equally closed-minded.” —Jasnah to Shallan [17] -

So, in this theory if a KR broke his bond where would the gem inside him go? -

I loved that book too. I always liked the kandra and I was so exited when they got to play such a big role. Wax and Streris getting so close was refreshing because it was so diffrent from a typical lovestory. For me it's those kind of things that keep Sandersons books from getting predictable. Am I the only one who was seriously ceept out by the image of wax making out with a kandra? That plot twist disturbed my deeply. Almost as much as finding out that Rons rat in Harry Potter has always been a weird old murderer...

Parshendi + Gemheart? (WoR-Spoiler)
Shaukan-son-Hasweth replied to Shaukan-son-Hasweth's topic in Stormlight Archive
That's a really good point. But dalinar mentions that the alethy never examined the dead parshendi, when he wonders about the beardless ones being female. Also those gemstones could be much smaller than those that are found in the greatshells. -
When i think about it, it all adds up. I don't know how i could forget those things... Thank you!
