  1. Kandra should be able to procreate and make new Mistwraiths though.
  2. If there is still traces of Kelsiers marrow in the bones than a kandra could use that to create a body to match. If there isn't then the kandra would just have to create marrow with the rest of the soft tissue.
  3. She did that to prevent rejection. That shouldn't be an issue when making a whole body.
  4. From Peter on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Mistborn/comments/2sjqz5/is_hoid_in_shadows_for_silence_in_the_forests_of/
  5. Hoid was on Threnody, and of course Nazh got off Threnody somehow.
  6. Bulk metal will explode, the reason it often doesn't is because it forms an oxide skin when in contact with air. This skin acts as a barrier, slowing the reaction. Also wrt making bombs, lithium can be used as a fuel in hydrogen bombs... although I obviously doubt The Set is doing that (I hope).
  7. I work with a guy from South Sudan, I can confirm that he thinks it is cold out no matter the temperature. Although there must be something else going on, otherwise you would expect the descendants of the survivors to be acclimated to the current temperatures.
  8. He's talking about using the pits to travel between the cognitive and physical realms. There is def a trade network spanning shard worlds.
  9. I am quite sure that Hoid never, technically, lies.
  10. I don't remember anything that could explain the comment. Maybe Leras/Ati owed him a debt and Hoid took all of Scadrial in payment. You can drive a barn through "technically".
  11. Or he can't go after them since he is invested in Scadrial and the attacker is staying out of reach.
  12. We're not trying to steal though, we're trying to add. Although thinking about it, you would probably need a spike through the heart to remove the soul of the person inhabiting the body first. (or find someone without a soul). Logically that hole would be plugged with another spike in the same place. Then again logic doesn't mean much with Hemalurgy.
  13. Typically? Have we seen this before? Without previous examples it is impossible to say anything is typical.
  14. Eyes are the window to the soul. If you wanted to spike someone and overwrite their soul with yours, where else would the spike go?
  15. Careful, you don't want to make it a competition...
  16. Either that or he's a massive troll. Given when the signing took place it seems far more likely he's implying there is a splinter of something else on Scadrial. Odium isn't exactly the kind to make splinters unless forced to (maybe the Unmade are expelled from Roshar after book 5?), so back to Autonomy as the most likely imo.
  17. This part has been bugging me for awhile. Do we have any reason to trust Harmony here? We've already seen him be intentionally deceptive, keeping Wax in the dark on exactly who Paalm was. Are we blind to Harmony's flaws because we still see him as Sazed?
  18. It's funny you bring up Chernobyl. How much do you really know about it? For one the city of Chernobyl is not completely abandoned. You're probably thinking of Pripyat. People don't forget Elantris is there, how could they? But why would they tell children that it's in the shape of Aon Rao? What would be the point? It wasn't until Raoden realized WHY the aons didn't work that it became important.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Brandon actually say there are only two shards on Scadrial? We don't know whether he is counting Harmony as one shard or two.
  20. Nobody is quite sure...
  21. To me it doesn't imply that at all. The most logical explanation is that "it was just the material". Some innate property of the unknown godmetal prevented Harmony from locating Paalm, and this would have been true even if he was familiar with the godmetal in question.
