  1. "Well, it seems that my billiards partner has spontaneously combusted. Anybody want to pick up where we left off?"
  2. My people! I have found you! But seriously, it's amazing right? Among my favorites are Resistance, Betrayal at house on the hill, The Lords of Waterdeep (given), elder signs (Tentacles!) and ticket to ride (The original, where Anne wrecks it all!). I was introduced with the small world episode. Loved it ever since! Edit: Blue
  3. If anyone has not figured this out by now, I PMed Lopen last cycle and created a code to share information privately.
  4. "I don't drink." Dragonsight found himself regretting his display. It drew attention to him, especially with people like Lopen. Charismatic, always trying to use you. Dragonsight noticed that everyone else had returned to their previous activities with an air of wariness. They were ignorant and thought him arrogant. He wasn't, just realistic. Dragonsight nodded to the man slowly standing up and scowling at him. "He'll be fine in a week. Besides, I didn't do it to make friends, just to prove a point, and not to any of you. So what is it that you need, friend?" I have seen it played (anyone watch Tabletop with Wil Wheaton?) but I have not played it before.
  5. My current pose is one of difficult suspicions. I accuse the trustworthy of you of aggressive defense. To fully understand an attack from the game, the light must be ready to spin like a dancer amidst the bullets of offensive conversation. To be worthy of my opinion, the necessary ally must be proven false. I want to save them using an example, but my known and proven enemies are ready to cause an outburst of simply orange juice.
  6. Dragonsight sat back in his chair as Rylin returned to his seat, drink in hand, wise enough to keep quiet. Yolen was out of his mind. There was no way that this group was going to overthrow the Megacorp. Maybe someone else could, but these men could only think of the profit. Getting them to work together would be near impossible, but unifying them enough to achieve their goal wasn't going to happen. Their employer couldn't even keep them off of each other when they were wasted. Dragonsight was scowling at the knife in his hands, running his fingers along the jagged back edge. This was useless. It would never work. It didn't matter how many resources or skilled teams of specialists Yolen brought in, this was a fools quest. Impractical, ineffectual, hollow, futile. Dragonsight stood up, motioning to his companion. "C'mon Rylin, get up, we're going." Rylin looked up from his drink, a concerned look on his face. Without standing, the man put his hand in his coat, leaving it on his chest. Eyes turning to the door, remembering the quality of life outside that piece of wood. "I know what you want to to. I also know that you decided not to." He turned back to look Dragonsight in the eye. "Do it." He was looking at the door. Sometimes he could still feel it. He looked back at Rylin. "I can't. I am not going to jeopardize our entire team because of an idealist's dream. My people are well off. They have food and warm beds, more than most others." Rylin stood up, still looking in Dragonsight's eyes. "You can't let them get to you. They drink here, and they fight here, and they kill here, but they still hurt. They hurt you, and you can't forgive them for that. If you do, then they get the better of you." "Rylin, this is not the way to go about it. These men will accomplish nothing. They can't. I won't be a part of their massacre." "This isn't about that and you know it. Nat-" Dragonsight burned iron, pulling Rylin's belt buckle, causing the man to stumble forwards awkwardly. Letting his iron fade, Dragonsight grabbed his collar and slammed him against the wall, holding him a foot off of the floor. Aware that everyone was watching him, he pushed those who approached him away. "NEVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN! They will never succeed." He let go of his steel and let Rylin fall to the ground. "We're leaving." Dragonsight turned and walked to the door, Rylin staying where he stood, a sad expression painted on his face. When he go to the door, Dragonsight found an extremely large, burly man standing in front of it, blocking the way out. "Let me out." The man did not move from his position, instead unfolding his arms and letting them fall to the side. Burning steel and iron, Dragonsight maneuvered empty chairs into a semi-circle around the two of them. Drawing on his bronze, he dropped into a low fighting stance, long practiced and perfected. Dragonsight moved before the other man could move into a proper stance. Throwing a punch to the jaw, he waited for the inevitable counter. As expected, the man blocked his punch and jabbed towards Dragonsight's face. Dragonsight leaned to the left, letting the punch move past his face. Grabbing the extended arm, he kicked out the man's foot and pulled on his arm, letting the man fall to the ground. He landed his knee on the man's back, shifting over to lean on his neck. It wouldn't kill him, but it would be excruciating for a week, never truly leaving and always giving him a hard time turning his head. Dragonsight stood, addressing the crowd that he had gathered. Looking at the faces of those around him, he saw fear and revusion foremost among the emotions present. There was one face that showed none of those. Rylin had a look of understanding and heartache. "You will never succeed. Not without me." With that, he walked back to his table and sat down. My goal with these RP posts is to gather information on your opinion of my characters. I would appreciate feedback, if possible, but I mainly just want to know if I have created realistic or even just fleshed-out characters. I hope you all know my opinion on Day-1 lynches, if not, then see this post which explains it fairly well. Ignore the first part, that was just a code paragraph used in MR11. I will not be voting this cycle, unless anyone seems obviously suspicious.
  7. Well, at least you made an appearance. Although, I do find your Sori claim a bit odd. The timing is very interesting. Why would you wait this long to reveal if you were always going to go public. the only reason that I can see is you trying to garner trust. I don't want this to be a hard, no-negotiation accusation, but I think that I will leave my vote on you for now, at least until I find out more about your motives.
  8. Alright, I am just going to put this out there, I put a vote on Elkanah to get them talking more. Death was never part of my deal. That came after I went to sleep. It would make sense to me at this point if SilverDragon was influential and decided to survive another cycle. Right now, I have to say that the inactives are at the top of my suspicion list. In order of most suspiciousness to least suspiciousness, Polking (haven't heard anything at all from him), Shallan (same thing, just a little more posted), Water (content of posts is not helpful most of the time), Elbereth (a lot of RP and not as much analysis), Ripple (maybe hiding in past inactivity tendencies? Not too much on this one). If you want to know why I hate on inactivity so much, it's because I can't trust someone who doesn't appear. Hiding in inactivity is one of the best ways to hide overall. You virtually don't draw any attention and people don't suspect you as much as they do the actives. It is the perfect hiding place. Also, "ueexbfvmpacvud".
  9. I'd love to be more active, but now isn't the best time for me. If you want my suspicions, then I have stated them in a PM and I'll just copy paste them here. So I think that Shallan and TheSilverDragon are sitting in the background too much. They might be watching how things are going and plotting together, but that seems like an easy out. Hellscythe STINK and Water were all bickering at each other, and that might be either a ploy to gather trust if the others die, or it might be a defensive eliminator vs. an aggressive villager. Polking and Elbereth, I can't tell anything at all. I don't have that much of a feel for Elkanah and ripple, so I am a little suspicious of them just for that. Ada, PK and clanky, Ada especially, all seem like they are involved just so that they can hide something (can't really explain these, just gut feelings). So if you want me to vote, then I will have to vote Elkanah, because I still need more proof and that might help me get it.
  10. It is known to everyone that PK has been proven innocent, but when is the difficult decision of making an example of the game an excuse? False light will not help the offensive on evil. Defense is most oft the cause of suspicions and an attack would spin the fight to progress the goals of the wicked. To be worthy is to understand the trustworthy and to pose as one of their opinions. Save them the trouble, and create the aggressive conversation that is needed. I accuse the insults of being an ally to the eliminators and their forces and their hordes. This insult party is going nowhere and I don't really like the direction that we are going in. We are turning on each other and creating infighting for the eliminators to feed off of. None of this is helping us catch them. I am not sure if voting will help diffuse the situation, but I am do know that voting for people because they insulted you won't. I don't see all that much against any of you, but I don't think that the eliminators would fight out here. I think that the eliminators would be someone who would be watching this while not trying to fix it, waiting to see what happens. I can't do see who that is, since I have to leave (by the way, this will probably be my last post this cycle) but if anyone has the time, could they look into that? In other news . . . #crankystink. Also, #insultwater. One more thing, #angryhellscythe. <--- Fix all of this please.
  11. Dude, I'm a guy. And yes it's polished because I am not flailing at people as much as I did in my first game or one that I was an eliminator in or one that I died on day-2 ( I'm looking at you Ada ). Also, PK is already cleared. At least one out of STINK or myself are good because of the sheer stupidity of the prospect of the eliminators sending two fake Sori's. Even if one of us were a Trader, the other one is still good and PK therefore a trapper.
  12. Yesterday, your reason for voting for me was my reasons for not voting. Let me explain this one more time. I don't tend to vote on day-1 due to the lack of evidence that is provided when lynching somebody. I believe that if we are going to kill a person, there should be evidence that they are evil, or at least evidence that they are possibly evil. I realize that people are going to lynch someone no matter what, so I observe other people's reactions and collect information. It is a way that I can be useful while still upholding my beliefs. Now as for today's events, I think that Lopen explains it quite well. Just adding onto it, this isn't making a trust hub, as seen from this entire conversation. Also, It would make a little bit of sense for an eliminator to publicly claim, just hoping to cause confusion like what happened, but that would be taking a huge risk in getting lynched. But somehow STINK doesn't seem to mind that at all. As to who we should lynch, I don't really know. I don't think that there is enough reason for us to kill either me or STINK, and OK has literally been proven innocent at this point. There would be no reason to lynch him, not even trying to find an eliminator. As for the two Sori's that are implicated, I think that it is likely there are two for PK. I just realized the word-play on Trader. Traitor. Traidor! Edit: Ninja'd by Ada.
  13. I find it difficult to understand why PK was so ready to accuse me of being a traitor. I have known for a while that it is a fact that going on an offensive is natural to those who have suspicions, but to cause an attack on an ally who is worthy of aggressive defense is to pose for the nightwatcher herself. I wish to spin you all a tale of light and false progress, but I would save them the trouble of playing the game. Simply put, my opinion is an example of truth in a swamp of lies.Proven I want to reiterate that the above is not an accurate representation of my thought, but simply a method to fulfill the requirements of this game's code policies. I have not given any information as to my intentions nor my feelings. These are just ramblings of me trying to intentionally put 28 different words into a semi-coherent paragraph.Trustworthy
  14. I wasn't pretending to ba a Sori, I am one. I don't know if there can be more than one Sori per villager, but I don't see why there can't be. At this point, I think that we can all agree that PK is innocent and at the very least, one of his alleged Sori's is telling the truth. It would be legitimately terrible idea to send two fake Sori's at someone. STINK has never made sense to me, so I don't know if he is an eliminator or not. STINK, I have no idea at what you are playing at, but your posts make literally zero sense to me, so I don't know what to make of you. However, I would like to ask that I receive protection since everybody knows what I have. If you don't then I have the messenger Aviar. Unfortunately, I can only talk to one person per cycle, so if you guys want me to transmit a message, then it will have to be over a couple of cycles. Other than that, my aviar can only really be used for personal use. If you guys have some other use for my ability, then please feel free to say it.
  15. GM's: if two people simultaneously guess another person's code, is the aviar split evenly, or is it the person who posts it in the PM first who gets all of it? Or is there another answer?
  16. Well what do you want, a smiley face? I can do that. Here, I'll do that. How about a winky face? Now I'm going to be a ninja. There. Happy now?
  17. You know, I am ready to admit that simply because having a trustworthy ally has been proven necessary yet difficult in the game that I died in, I can save them with a false defense. If I were to cause an aggressive yet trustworthy conversation, then my attack would be false and it would slow the progress of suspicions. If we could all just understand that we could warrant an example from a known opinion, we could all light the downwards dark spin of the action to accuse. If I were to pose a question, would you understand me or go on the offensive? I generally don't participate in day-1 lynches because I don't feel like people should lynch without proof. The only reason I am agreeing that day-1 lynches are important is because everyone else is going to lynch someone anyways. There is nothing that I can do to stop it. So I make the best of it and gather information.
  18. Why is everyone so ready to be aggressive and accuse STINK? I mean I have my suspicions already, but I want to save them for later on in the game. I don't want to cause an unwarranted attack just to progress the conversation. It is difficult to pose a worthy defense, let alone an offensive, when nothing is known by anyone. If we need to make an example, then I would like it to be a player who has been proven to be a false ally. That does not mean it is necessary for them to be an eliminator, but simply ready to let us down. As I understand it, to be trustworthy is everything in this game. I do not mean to put a negative spin on day-1 lynches, simply put my opinion into light. Now that that is out of the way, I want to say that I don't think that I will vote today. I agree that day-1 lynches can give useful information, but I don't like doing them myself. I prefer to watch others and collect information from everybody instead of just a few, which is what would happen if I went searching for information by myself. I realize that without the votes or the pressure on D1, there would be no base for later suspicions. I also realize that you guys are always going to vote and lynch people on D1 no matter what, so I am going to just gather my suspicions from you. Now I want to clear something up. The paragraph above is simply a method of saying my code and does not actually reflect my thoughts. I will try to put all 27 of the false codes and my 1 real code into a paragraph like this twice per cycle, maybe once per day, but if I do not have the time, then I will simply put up a list of those 28 words and call it a day. I asked the GM's and they said that I can do this. Ideally, I would like to incorporate those codes into my normal posts, but I doubt that I will have the time. Just to make it simple, if there is a line after the first paragraph of my post, then my that is a code carrier paragraph. If I decide to do some RP in this game, then I will label it saying RP. EDIT: Hellscythe how did you get that keyword density thing?
  19. I added the numbers. 1. Would you not want to ensure that he would be lynched? Why would you vote for me when Kipper was fairly obviously a traitor. You came dangerously close to creating a lynch train on me which would have saved Kipper from being lynched. And voting on Phatt to make him report to you? Why? Would asking not have worked? 2. Let's take a look at who the eliminators have lynched shall we? Shallan: openly stated that they were a snitch, which is one of the most threatening roles to the eliminators. Clanky: nobody knew what he was, as far as I know, he was simply a good player that was unlikely to be targeted. Hellscythe: Beggar, another threatening role to the eliminators. Adavantos (attempted): Very good player and a snitch, again, threatening to the eliminators. I am not seeing anyone here killed simply because they were exposed to be a villager. The eliminators seem to be targeting people who are a threat to them. It was easy to come to this conclusion, but I don't have the most experience playing, so I will tentatively call a truce on this point if you want it. 3. Your best lead? What about the guy who was scanned as evil and effectively caused Ada's death? No red flags on that guy? Kipper was an eliminator! Why would you not talk about an eliminator? Our entire goal is to kill them! 4. Yes, it does seem as though it is. It also seems increasingly like that is what I am good at. Localized research and deduction. Also, Tangent.
  20. "I mean, good . . . Uh . . . Person, that I have heard a very similar composition from a place called the earth. I would not be surprised to hear that you have not heard of it. It does seem to be a very obscure and unimportant place." Turning back to Oversleep, Kynedath smirks and says "Well it does seem that you have some skill in this sport, although I do believe that the objective is to put the balls in the holes rather than the walls." After helping Oversleep up off of the floor, Kynefath walks up to the wall where the cue ball was stuck and removes it from the mortar. Walking back to the table, Kynedath places the cue ball on the table behind another ball. Taking another vial, he drinks the mixture of the metal and alcohol and lines up behind the cue ball. He gives it a moderate push and manages to leave the ball in front of the pocket, yet not quite sinking it.
