  1. We know by the letter in OB that Bavadin is already messing with First of the Sun during the SA timeframe. I agree with everyone who said the Aviar could be a phenomenon predating Bavadin's involment. But I don't honestly know if the planet was available to foreign before Bavadin's action or if the perpendicularity was a result of the actions she took on First of the Planet. The investiture was always there...but Bavadin manipulate and possibly guide it. On the danger of Fots' CR , I don't think the area is so dangerous... spren and cognitive entities are possible only where the free investiture around is huge. Sure there could be some of the physical beasts that trepassed the perpendicularity for accident. It's interesting to know, if they are able to detect cognitive minds while in the CR itself...
  2. He is not too accurate indeed, Nightblood's test is really semplicistic. For example anyone not interested in NB whatever the reason is ..would be detected as "good" by him. Also if that guy is the worst evil dude of the Cosmere. On the other side a greedy but good people would be detected as "evil". And Nightblood seems to not know how the people are... simply the people around feel the nausea or lust when facing him...but nothing suggest he knows
  3. Godmetals are chunk of distilled power in solid form. Those would be already so high invested to be hardly affected by other Investiture. Of course this is in contrast with what we saw another Godmetal do...but for Brandon that godmetal is an oddity. I am avoiding to go too specific because here we are in the Warbreaker subsection and it's stuff related to other series
  4. I agree but I don't think most of the Parshmen were held into very sturdy structures...much more not very sturdy structures designed to suffer a storm from the wrong side. Then, we saw the Everstorm is actually a bit malicious in its route...so it's not impossible the storm itself slowed down to crack the building where Parshmen are to facilitate the healing and increase the time of exposure Ps: is the same if Odium is guiding the Storm instead of the storm itself be the one in control
  5. You don't inherit the previous Vessel's knowledge. At best you gain a bit of the power history but not an actual knowledge or skill. Of course with the expanded mind and the Realmatic knowledge intuitive to you... Using the power itself may be trival/natural to you depending by the task you try to perforne
  6. What ? All those magic works with all three Realms (only Hemalurgy is actually most spiritually). Anyway try to numerate the possible magic systems is mostly useless as the same shard will gave birth to different magics based on completely arbitrary factors like "where he is invested"
  7. No wob on this, but now I will find weird to find some Parshmen around. The Everstorm passed many times and the new Singers probably will search for missing friend and help them to heal too
  8. Maybe I am not understanding what you proposed. But the Metalmind to be used by the Soulbearer needs to be unkeyed already, so the F-Alluminium isn't needed for him to have. Edit: I understood later, I thought you were pointed to another thing. But at that point, it's what the Southerns did for years only pushed beyond with the unsealed Metalminds
  9. No ever mention of rust, even in the Trust where there is Atium stored from hundred of years. By the way, for the Atium nature I am not even sure it would react with most of things. And rusting is a reaction dictate by a chemical reaction with oxygen
  10. Well Sazed has actually the double of the raw power available to the other Shards. Regardless I don't think Sazed's mind is more expanded than the other vessels' ones. After all a finite mind could expand only so far and the Shards are already at the extreme. It's one of the main difference between the current Vessels and Adonalsium. It's meaningless how much power they could stock... Their finite mind can't process it all at once like an infinite mind could. It's the reason the Shards can't even access all the power at their disposal without a great deal of effort to spot bits of power in the Cosmere
  11. The OP refered to the Parshmen, not the Listeners. Indeed a chunk of Listeners could be around hidden somewhere but the troublesome part for the OP was the complete lack of Parshmen not turned from the first Everstorm and I agree it's weird
  12. The medallion ? Not they are not...they could be made without Hemalurgy. But yeah if you could tap from a Nicrosilmind and storing that into another...you have now a Nicrosilmind keyed to you. In theory you could keep stacking new abilities into that Metalmind. In practice you are building a Bands of Mourning like device...just it's keyed to you. You could unkeyed that if you wish and you have F-Alluminium
  13. The Oath you need to summon the Blade isn't related to Spren's diffidence . Simply the bond needs to be strong enough to pull the spren fully in the physical. This can't simply happen if the bond is still loose (not enough Oaths are spoken).
  14. Nale isn't the one Szeth was a squire for. But simply Szeth was already a Skybreaker there and not a mere squire at that point.
  15. For the timeframe Mraize is. The Aviar is probably the standard "hide me cognitivelly" and it makes sense as there is an unknown Unmade around.
  16. I mixed those....the one who calls himself Spren of Redemption is Ulim not the one guiding the Parshmen
  17. A real thick wall would protect the Parish to a degree but the Everstorm arrived unexpected and much more Parshmen are not usually keeped in solid building and regardless most of the solid building are reinforced only to the Hightstorm side. The Everstorm wreached a lot of Rosharan habits. Also if some Parshmen avoided the healing, probably his friends would took him with them and exposed him to the Everstorm to help him. There are also the Redemption spren around trying to increase their number. TLTR: Probably some Parshmen avoided the healing at the beginning, but he others or the spren figure out how to heal him regardless. Also the Parshmen were probably less protected than you may think so very few were outside the Everstorm reach
  18. The first part is that of course a Misting could compound if you provide him an unkeyed Metalmind of the right metal. Sure he would be uncapable of storing the attribute generated but he could use that burst of attribute on the spot ...with different degrees of usefulness. Then the next step is to use a Nicrosil Ferring to do fancy stuffs. The proposed example is a but unclear because I can't understand what the F-Alluminium is used for but mainly a Nicrosil Ferring could in theory turn himself into a sort of Fullborn if provided with the right medallion
  19. Yeah Cal, I assume Fused are Organic Surge-Fabrial (at least the ones we saw... nothing prevent for some of them to be Voidbinding-Fabrial instead, maybe the ones still sleeping) so they access the Surges in a mechanical way and they are more restricted in the same way Fabrials are (very curious to see a Soulcaster Fused) but for their great experience in the power usage...they are Savant in that and they pushed their power to the limit allowed to them. If I am right, the Transformation Fused will need the right polestone to soulcast regardless of their skill (also if they could probably craft very elaborate stuffs with the Surge) and maybe they could soulcast only some of the essences (because I am not sure if Fabrials attuned to all the Essences exist or Jasnah's one made believe they exist).
  20. Yeah Shallan reached at least the thrid Oath as a child, then the mess with her mother happened and she mades her bond almost evaporate. In the current events she had to start again from scratches and spoke again the Truths. Of course she has the memory of having a Shardblade and She truly believe to be able to summon it... But she actually never summon it until he spoke again her third Oath. TLTR: Shallan is a mess and she believed to be able to summon a Blade because she denied with herself about the Radiancy and she thought like if Pattern was just a deadblade at her disposal
  21. I am missing your point. How is Bavadin creating a lot of Splinters? If you count the number alone Honor and Cultivation are the more prolific Splinters generators. And how creating splinters would make people gaining Shards? There is surely something I am missing
  22. Why not ? If you could manipulate a Spiritiweb in a fine way, you could achieve almost everything. In the specific, I think Odium exploited the Fabrial magic system to achieve that with the Fused, as I saw them as living Surge-Fabrial.... But I don't see any problem with a Shard messing with someone Spiritiweb to achieve magic in those. By the way we don't even know if the Fused are the first to obtain Surgebinding or if the Heralds predate them in this
  23. Rashek's case is indeed meaningfully. If the power were designed to remain in the system of the well instead of returning to Preservation... it's possible the indipendent power would keep returning to the one holding the well. Sure you have to cut that power from Preservation but we already saw it as possible. Leras did with Ati's power shortcut it to the Pits
  24. This was already proposed and if I don't remember wrong someone asked that to Brandon receiving a RAFO. To me it's unlikely as if the Radiants had a gemheart and therefore a method of Stormlight storage...they will be able to hold the light much more than they seems capable of. In my own opinion, the Plate is the tool they used to store Stormlight better mitigating the leakage
  25. I think that at best drinking from a shard pool could result in an amount of kinetic investiture avaliable....if you are able to use it for something it's another matter. But mainly I disagree in the "drinking from Ruin's perpendicularity as the same Atium effect" and by the way...witch of the tree? Because fall death on the spot is actually the same effect you gain from storing too much youth XD
