Probably this is the right decay-rates (or similar) because the Inquisitor's Spikes continue to held Hemalurgic Charge after 300 years off-body (probably).
-
Brandon in a WoB said that spren could copy not only Weapon.
-
It does about .064G (Calculations done with the calculator XD)
-
This is probably the combination of Abrasion and Division, like the Duskbringers do ;-)
-
In the Final Empire, Sazed stated that a little piece of pewter (he swallowed it) could held only a few Feruchemical Charge. Anyway I think that Feruchemical charge and Hemalurgic charge use different scale. In Feruchemy you had to convert Energy/matter to Investiture and the metalmind build-up its Investiture and probably is more easy to saturate it. In Hemalurgy, the charge are a piece of Structured Investiture (Spirit Web) and probably there isn't a match: powerfull-donor--> bigger spirit web.

Well If the Spike needs of the right bind point to "innest" in the receiver I think yes. Without the "innest" you are like "no spike" and no "hemalurgyc's Weakness", it's probably the same thing to held a Charged Spike in your hand.
-
My theory was born from misenterpreting this WoB(I'didn't read the footnote). But I am curious about the Brandon's misunderstening and what he said.

From Hemalurgyc use, you have to insert the spike in the right place. The "voice" is just a side-effect (the weakness)of the Hemalurgy. It's stated that Ruin many time have failed to spiked someone in the right place. For the "find the bind point" I think that the Harmony's Angels (Kandra) will made the appropriate "Hole" in the believer's ear when they give the earing. And maybe there are more bind-point in the ear.

In Allomancy "burning" is a key-word for "the act of using a metal as the catalyst for one of the Allomantic powers of the Allomancer". Burning a metal destroy the metal itself, while and after burning tin, you don't have that metal in your system. The Lerasium indeed metabolize in the Human's System. If you are capable of burning Lerasium, the Lerasium is not add too your own. Indeed it will be simple destroyed while you recive the Allomantic power, like when you burn Atium. the act of using a metal as the catalyst for one of the Allomantic powers of the Allomance

It is possible that the bracers was made of different metals ? For example Nicrosil and Atium ? Not the their alloy. But different layers/sections of metal, like to build two different metalminds in the same object.

In the WoB Brandon stated that "Honorblades are less efficient; this doesn't change when a Herald uses them. (But they have other advantages.)". The Bond could be "the same" but the different nature of Heralds could put different Mechanics on the field.

I said "maybe also koloss's spikes. Because there isn't many Inquisitor's Spike for every member of the Path. But probably I have overstimated the popolation of scadrial. And the Pathism religion.
-
If it's like i said. The honorblade could obey to the helder but not to be bond with it. For example when szeth died the Honorblade doesn't vanish. there's a special phrase to point it out to the reader (like to say "remember this detail"). EDIT: I'm just thought,we considerated Taln like the other Heralds. But He is the only one who don't break his oath. His Honorblade (regardless of my theory is true or false) must be bond to him. Even though he left behind the Blade.

Way of Kings and WOR are the best books I've read!
Yata replied to Sylphrena84's topic in Introduce Yourself!
Welcome to both of you new Sharder -
But if He held a "Passive Intent" Shard. This is possible.

My problem with the Division Surge are: All my interpretations of this surge is similar to other Surges. - If it breaks the molecular bound is quite similar to the Trasformation but without flexibility and cognitive issues. - if it weaks a structure, is quite similar to my interpretation of Tension.
-
The only "Sure-way" to unbound a Shardblade is to remove (or maybe break) the gemstone. But just because the Blade need a gemstone-adding to be bondable. But this way is not right to an Honorblade. The Honorblades doesn't need a gemstone to bound to a human. PS: Theory: I don't really think that anybody could bound an Honorblade. they are still bond with their Heralds and nobody else. Every one who hold an Honorblade could use it and become a Surgebinder. But the Blade is not bound to him.

In SA (on Roshar) there are two reference to the water-of-life. The first are speaking about the Horneater peaks the other about the Purelake. Many thought to the link, two-shards --->two Shardpools and probably they have right. But something same missing to me.

Just a thought. If a creature change shardworld once (for example together with many other in a Exodus). Could he be called WorldHopper ? If the answer is NO. It could be that Forst is Yolish (sure) but He/She/It now in another Shardword. With this I'm not saying that Yolen and Braize is the same planet. I don't think this quite for sure. Just to not take to much meaning from the WoB. He could choose the word very carefull to be misinterpreted ;-)

To obtain Allomancy through Lerasium. You actually don't burn its. You metabolize it, adding to your own Preservation power. The Lerasium are concentrate of Preservation power and the guy is put over the requirement of develop Allomancy. If an Allomancer could burn it and He do, we could see the very effect of the lerasium in the Allomancy.

or maybe the Koloss' spike. Maybe the "main actor" in Harmony's plan are given a Inquisitor's Spike (with the possibility to give to them power when needed) and the other koloss' spikes to use only with comunication (the Physical-Strenght residual charge must be very very low).
-
And we don't know how much of Investiture a piece of Nicrosil could held. The Investiture I think is much more concentrate than a Stored Attribute (Es. the stormlight in a gem is capable of regrow a piece of arm. How much power you have to use from a goldmind for this to happen ?).
-
very plausible indeed ;-)
