  1. Well put Rao and Ela (Spirit and Center) may generate something like "This is the Country's Core" and operate the already know boost of AonDor and its users. Something like an explicit declaration to the Dor, not an Implict one like the others (For Implicit I mean that in the other country are simply the cognitive aspect of the people that give to a country is center, capital or borders).
  2. If I am not wrong. They just open the new day thread of AMA https://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/3va8fw/day_4_group_ama_in_support_of_worldbuilders/
  3. Yeah I was simply speak about the Kandra-blood can't be designed using the Koloss-Blood mechanics. With a Kandra-blood that "upgrade" his Shapeshifting ability using the Blessings.
  4. But the Ipotetical Kandra-Blood didn't gain any "new power" through the Spike, or at least nothing that an average human can't gain. The Kandra themself don't gain "unique power" through Hemalurgy. They are only Sentience Mistwrath. About the Copper Immunity, I know that Copper isn't a 100% defence. But also a simple Kandra (without any other defence) is a challenge to Vin (without Durallumin) to control. The Kandra is more hard to influence than a Koloss and to take a Koloss you have need of the level of power of a Lerasium-Mistborn (or many Allomancers). To this "standard defense" add the "Copper defense" and you have a Kandra quite Immune to mind control (Unless you are a Shard or you use a little army of Allomancers).
  5. Quite true, he can if the Spike didn't decay to much. After the Identity stoled, didn't mach with the Original Feruchemist and the Metalmind doesn't reconize you.
  6. Without thinking about the "probability" of a Kandra-blood human. I don't think that this kind of bein has something of the Shapeshifting-power from his Kandra heritage. And I suppose that without a lucky shoot from the "Hemalurgyc-Heritage" this type of creature would be less mental capable than an average Human. But if you like the Idea of mixing Allomancy or Feruchemy with Shapeshifting powers. This could be simply giving to a Kandra some Metallic Art's Power through Hemalurgy. In this case I would add that a Kandra with Allomantic Copper would be Immune to Mind Control from whatever is not a Shard.
  7. The Simply crack in the Soul isn't enough for mind control. Ruin has already a "backdoor" to the Scadrial-Human and this is why he may "speak" to the madman. The Hemalurgy add new backdoor to the Spiked-Guy more "powerfull" than the standard backdoor and give Ruin the chance of controlling him. Of course more spike more control. Without the right "powerful backdoor" nobody will be capable of "mind control". We had an example of this right in SA. The Listener had no problem of bein controlled (and they are the most incomplete being saw in the Cosmere I think). Unless they bond with VoidSpren that take with them a "powerfull backdoor" for Odium.
  8. 1- The Dor works like all the Investiture through all three realm but the Dor itself is located in the Cognitive Realm (quite strange because the Shard's power usually is in the Spiritual. 2- The Dor "press" from the Cognitive to the Physical Realm always. An Elantrian may create "exit" to the Dor and programming it through the right form (Aon). 3- The Aon itself (along with all the modificators) has a "time of living" threfore, simply is closed when the times come and the Dor stop his flux. 4- To be honest I don't know but I suppose that be in the middle of the trasformation stop any kind of direct effect of the Dor. Because we know that became an Elantrian change a little also your mind.
  9. If Hoid Has the Allomancy He is a Mistborn througth the use of the bead of Lerasium that He stole from the Well of the Ascension during the Mistborn trilogy.
  10. Oversleep we know that all the investiture "spent" by the Magic User turn after some time to the Shard. We have proof of this "standard cycle" with the Well of Ascension or the Pit of Hatsin (all the Atium burned return to the Pit to re-grow". The only things in the Cosmere that may change the nature of Investiture (as far as I know) is Nightblood and whatever The Blade does at the Investiture drained. But this is pure speculation.
  11. Yeah quite true. And them are the Shard that unlikely would cooperate. One of them is Autonomy therefore cooperate would be difficoult to him. The other is push by an Godly hatred aganist the other Shards. It's quite unlikely that this two "kindy guys" put together a team-up.
  12. Honor is more about to "put together (or bonding) things/people". But you are probably wrong about. All the Shard's Intent give to the Holder a "path" but the Holder had the freedom to how walk on it. For example, Leras and Ati were capable of creating for the only purpose to follow after their Intent (Ruin destroing his creation and Preservation blocking an Agent of Destruction like Ruin). Rayse put the hatred of Odium aganist the other Shard while He may target a lot of things. Devotion (or Love) will probably bound to help with all his tools everyone. But she has freedom to choose how doing it.
  13. The term End-Positive, End-Neutral or End-Negative as Ookle the Wookie says is all about the Investiture's point of view. The fact that quite all the Magic System that we saw until now are End-Positive give you a lot of "case of use" about the Magic. If I didn't wrong there is just 2 End-Neutral magic System with the current books and the Hemalurgy as only know End-Negative. Therefore a Magic System that give you a lot of Investiture while you consume a less amount of Investiture (the metals) is an End-Positive.
  14. Well I half-Agree with you ;-) Because as you say with the Nahel Bond the "Initiation" (that I suppose is the right term for what we are talking about) is about to: "Be a broken people that are compatible with a Radiant-Spren's Intent" what happen after is probably meaningless but is quite common to all the Radiant Knight and it is "make an inner path throught the 'Core Intent of the Order' formalized by words that are some kind of milestone".
  15. Until now we know only that Nightblood feed of Owner's Investiture and that cut whatever the Blade touch on all the three realm. The Soul is made of Investuture and therefore if there isn't any "source of investiture" in the Holder the blade will feed of his soul.
  16. But the Mist isn't separate from Preservation. A Splinter is exactly a "separate and quite indipendent part" of a Shard. I don't think that one can simply say "Splinters Assembly" and rebuild a Shard. Or on other Shardworld this thing will be already did.
  17. Well the Honorblade as a weapon is more power than a Sprenblade. We see how Szeth may destroy with it a Shardplate with less hit while a Sprenblade need more hit. The Nahel Bond seems to me something more flexible and "cheap" maybe made to protect a "weak human". The Honorblade Bond seems to be only about "raw power" maybe because the "Superhumanity of the Herald". Now that I think about, we never saw an Herald drawn in Stormlight from an outside source. It's possible that they had some "Stormlight generation" method ?
  18. I think that about the Sel's magics there is more than we think. It's stated that all the Sel's magics is just the different manifestation of the same Magic System and therefore probably the "Unloking" had to be common between them.
  19. You have right but the Idrian Royal family had a single breath above the average (brobably worth 2-3 standard Breaths) but nothing like the 5th Heightening required.
  20. Of course I may misunderstood what BS says about but if your intepretation is true. After thousands of years doesn't matter how pick a shard. His personality is gone. While seems that any Shardholder implements the Shard Intent at his way. Probably my example was too extremistic. But I don't think that Odium without Rayse will be the same.
  21. people with the 5th Heightening is rare but there is some of it in the City. And nobody knows about her ability of "changing body" therefore: 1- Simply having many breath don't give you this ability 2- Nobody that have the right amount of Breaths discovered this possibilities. The Returneds himself don't know that they can change body.
  22. The Shard's Intent is a quite "vague" concept. The mind of the Shardholder give an actual implementation of that Intent. For example the Ati's Ruin was about entropical decay without any true malice. Instead an Ipotetical Rayse's Ruin may be about quite similar to the "everybody must die because it piss me off".
  23. It's unlikely because the Dor don't reach so far place. Your point may be good if you speak about something like: An Elantrian goes to the Rose Empire and use an appropriate simbol (as the Forgery) to drawn the "local dor" but using in the AonDor. In this case you are right (and probably is the exact purpose of the Moon Septre). But far from Sel there isn't "local Dor".
  24. Mister Sanderson had explain pretty well how the Spiritual Realm is recently. There is a topic about there but speak about the Atium (because the question that Brandon answered was about the Atium). Anyway to put simply: In the Spiritual Ream there is the "Perfect version of Everything in the Cosmere" and the link to other "perfect versions of other things" (that from now i will call Ideas). To me is easy immaginable through math Definition, but I don't know if is the same for others.
  25. But the "Alluminium block the Ferucemical Healing" is a fact ? Because I remember only something like "make the Healing harder" and there is a lot of difference. Also because an Inquisitor (in both of cases) can simply pull out the Allumin-things that hit him and Healing normally. Don't forget that a Pewter Allomancer may resist very long to "fatal" wound
