  1. There is a WoB about "If Kaladin broke his Oath now that he spoke the 3th, Syl will end as DeadSpren-Blade"
  2. Wow I made a (probably) complete wrong idea about
  3. Well there are two different type of "breaking" events. The Shattering are a "breaking" in both Power and Investiture. The Splintering are just a "breaking in the Power (a Splinter is just a Tiny Shard) Anyway I am a doubt, we have some WoB about "Is it possible to Shatter a Shard ?"
  4. To me there is no difference at all. If you are in on the Shardworld X, borning in the X's Cognitive Realm is as to be born on X's Psysical Realm (of course if you are not a native of X, there is some kind of influence anyway).
  5. Gold Compound makes you invincible but you will die of old age. Miles himself said something like that. And of course if the Gold Compound gives to you an endless life, TLR have no need of the Atium Feruchemy.
  6. I am still quite convinced about the "Bond" as Focus on Roshar. The Fabrial may be explained as "Fabrial magic= bond beetween right Polestone and Right Spren". In the Navani's notebook for example, she call the Fabrial the (gem+spren ) alone and machine the whole tool. In the end also the ability of gemstone to keep stormlight, may be explained through the bonds as focus. The Gemstone is probably the Physical material that contain an elegant series of specific bond between the atoms and the different polestone are just little variation of the same structure. In few words, the gemstone may be see as "pysichal bonds".
  7. I don't think, The Hemalurgy is "just" the mix of Ruin's Investiture+Scadrial focus. It has not anything of special about that. As Magic System may be used to manipulate the Spiritweb (through a patchwork-like method) but also other Magic Systems may do something like that, for example the Lerasium in Allomancy rewrite the Spirit Web and without any control turn you in to a Mistborn but if you know how to do it. You will probably re-shape your SpiritWeb as you want. Every Magic System may be pervasive across the others.
  8. It's what I talked about. The main difference from the case of Vin-Preservation and Honor is that Preservation (also if quite mindless) was a whole Shard, while Honor is a Splintered Shard. All his power is spread over all Roshar and now every bit of him is a separate "living" being. If reforming Honor was something "so simple" the Stomfather would probably already made it by merging any Spren under his own "jurisdiction"
  9. To me is an impossible thing. The 10 Honorblade was there when Honor was whole, and therefore are pretty a very small part of his power. Also all the Spren on Roshar have a bit of Honor's power. If you get all the Honorblades, it's a pretty meaningless part of Honor's power (and how will you merge the Honorblades ?).
  10. First of all, you have probably right about the "power level" of a Seon's Bond. I was talking about another WoB (that at the moment I can't find ). It was a WoB about the Magic Systems that drawn power from an external/internal source and how the two types work differently. One need deeply the Intent (more precise), the other not (more power oriented) and in the end Say something like: "Surgebinding is a bit strange because the Symbiotic magic is more powerfull on Roshar" (not the exactly words)
  11. Well you may "create" a Aon with ink and paper (without using the Dor) and everytime you have "just" to use the AonDor with the paper as project. Everyone with a precise hand and without knowledge of the AonDor may use it (if he has access to the AonDor of course) And of course "Complex Aons for Dumb Elantrians" will be the Best Seller of Sel.
  12. @moogle: There is a WoB about the "symbiotic-magic" that began more powerfull on Roshar. Maybe a Surgebinder will have need of a "stronger bond" to summon a Sprenblade in other Shardworlds (example: you have to be a complete Radiant Knight). About the Seon bond, it not seems to have some kind of "progress" it may be strong as "Surgbinder's bond with X oath" but it's hard to say.
  13. well Syl knows that "that Blade" was very dangerous/important/valuable (She seems to retain more of her memories after the third Oath) and the possibility of losting an Honorblade made her Hysterical (Like she says "A surgebinder, without any Spren's control").
  14. Probably the "soul-relate" Magic Systems don't work with the colorless-item. For example you may Soulcast it (because works on Cognitive) but you may not use Forgery on it (because it hasn't a Soul to edit). As far as I understand a colorless-item will be some kind of pseudo-allumin (if it's true that the Allumin's oddly is because "the Allumin has no soul")
  15. It is quite what i thought, thanks
  16. Khriss may be wrong of course, for example I am quite sure that she make an error in the HoA's Ars Arcanum about Hemalurgy
  17. Maybe the Human-trait-Spike change too much the reciver and He lost any innate Metalborn power. You have to add to them through Hemalurgy because his twisted Spirit Web has no longer the "right parts".
  18. Unless Nalthis people was alterated by Endowment to be vessel of Breath. They are incomplete being, less than average Human and they found themeself "whole" only through Endowment power. Because their strangness isn't only to have a Breath, but also their "Ripper soul conditon". If 2 Nalthis Drabs wordhop somewhere else and (well I suppose you all know how the baby are made XD ), their offspring will be Drab with your own interpretation. Not a standard human.
  19. I always thought that what we saw with the Preservation's Shardpool was a "special case" than a standard work of a Shardpool. For example I have a great doubt: Is the Ascended One actually consumed the power of the Shardpool to use a Shard-level's power for some secondons/minutes ? Or Does He simply take the control of the Shard for some seconds/minutes ? If the second statement was true, using a Shardpool of a Splintered Shard don't make Ascend anyone and using a Shardpool of a full-minded un-Splintered Shard may end in a fight with the Shardholder or the Shardholder have to give you the privilegies (SUDO )
  20. A Shardblade cut throught the Allumin. Anyway any rigid material may be used as Safety Strap for a Shardblade. It only need a side-blockage.
  21. Simply a Nalthian have more Investiture in his soul than an average human of another Shardwhorld (without counting the Scadrial's) but some part of his Soul (Biocromatic Breath) are transferable to others. Without this transferable part a Nalthian has less Investiture in his Soul than the average Human, using the Hemalurgy on a Human left him in a Drab-like stare (if he doesn't die). A worldhopper that goes on Nalthis don't earn any ability about giving his soul, but would probably be a strange being because he has no Biocromatic Aura but it's not invisible to the lifesense.
  22. To add more element to his "divine" status. Or at least is what I thought.
  23. I didn't read the new Elantris, therefore I am wrong... Sorry But we don't know if Endowment have decision on individual level or planetary (for example if he/she/it may not give a breath to a single person or if he/she/it have to stop to give away the Breaths for the whole Nalthis' Humans).

    Lerasium Alloys

Maybe you have right. But the Lerasium is within the Allomancy rules. While you may say that "Hemalurgy change the rules through the mixing of different magic System". With the "simply" use of Lerasium's Alloy, we are within the "allomancy rules" and I find unlikely that Allomancy broke itself.
  25. Well I suppose that his "perfect memory" was a mix of Copper+Zinc, mystification of his real ability (He was "God" for the people after all) and of course a bit of acting.
