  1. Actually the Interaction between Hemalurgy and Awekening may give birth to some unexpeted effects...it's not very different from the Perks of other Magic Combinations. Maybe they will not mix as Djarskublar want, but I will see the potential of something more than the simple sum of effects. About this part, I feel that a Divine Breath used for Awakening purpose would not have a Imprinting-Cognitive from the Awekener but instead try to his own Mind to fiutful the Awkening's Command. In the end this would create an Type IV more "natural" than Nightblood. In the same way a Frankenstein's Monster is different from a standard Human being PS: I am really doubtful, We know Nightblood may be used as Spike...from ? (I may understand average Shardblade from some weird godmetal's propriety but I don't really catch the Nightblood's case)
  2. Yes but this WoB removes one of the possible theories about "how would Szeth manage to use fully Nightblood?"
  3. It's all started by this wild thought "Jasnah acts as a good Elsecaller" (that can be wrong) and the fact that Her actions in Kabranth were in line with her Order...I mean the bait criminal with the purpose of murdering them. This point (to me) to something like "vengeance" as Elsecaller's concept. If this is true or near the true...the Painspren are affine. I admit it's a unlikely correlation...but both their "status" than their "look" suggest a correlation between them and the Stormfather...I have to see another Bondsmith spren to catch some new features to search in lesser spren. PS: The Adesion Surge, who are more likely affine with Honor's mandate...call Bindspren when used. But I don't know if it may be considerate as a clue.
  4. The Relationship between Radiant Spren a a specific kind of Lesser Spren is well speculated: For now the pairs (sure, likely or speculate) are: Honorspren----------->WindSpren (only confirm) Cryptic----------------->Creationspren (high suggested) Wylde's race---------->Lifespren (high correlation) Dustbringer's Spren->FlameSpren (Speculation) Ivory's race------------>Painspren (Wild Speculation of mine) Bondsmith's Spren--->BindSpren (Speculation for her role and for affinity with the Stormfather and the Vacum's pressure)
  5. Recently Mister Sanderson replied to an interesting question on Reddit. The Question alone would be a bit interesting but his answer have some cool extras: First of all we have a confirm that someone may get the Surgebinder's perks also through the Honorblades and it's not something unique to the Nahel bond. But the part I feel really spicy is this: "For example, Jezrien didn't actually have any squires, as none of the Heralds did." This sentence may have a couple of interpretations: - Heralds never had Squires - Heralds has no Squires now Both are pretty interesting (of course the first more) because this mean that modern Nale's Skybreaker can't be his Squires. This mean that if we see someone of the drawn in stormlight, They must to have a RK at least. Much more (to me) this WoB destroy the possibility of a Szeth as Squire of Nale as a way for him to be capable of Breath Stormlight to use Nightblood.
  6. Maybe it's possible to "taint" a Splinter with other Investiture (and in the end I think it's what happened to the Rider of the Storm in the early time but as I said there are other topic who talk about the Rider's Origin). But I don't think a similar Spren may be called a Spren of X only because X used his investiture to corrupt it....For example The Radiant Spren has a mixture between H&C's Investiture. Similarity an Unmade with your Hypotesis would be a mix of Adonalsium and Odium...Not Odium Alone and the WoB explicity states their Status as Splinter of Odium. Often when the there are confused topic, Brandon avoid to give clear answer that point the readers in the wrong way
  7. The problem is...that all the Spren are already Splinters. They don't need anything more to become something they already are. The Stormfather (I will use his Listener name to design his old self as "Rider of the Storm") was a Splinter also before the Tanavast's Shadow Merging (to be honest we don't know of WHO he is a Splinter but there are already tons of topic about). The only "features" the Stormfather has...it to be both a Splinter and a Sliver at the same time. But this only because it is the fusion of a Splinter (Rider of the Storm) and a Sliver's Shadow (Tanavast's Cognitive Shadow). A Splinter is what the Investiture becomes, when it's not more a Thing but become a Being if you don't like the "standard definition"
  8. I have some news (or to be more precise I will have some news soon). Someone (maybe from this forum) replied to my Tweet to Peter with a specific istance of MAG's Hemalurgy not equal from Canon Hemalurgy...And Peter said He would check this issues. I will update this message as soon as I get a further answer
  9. Yeah..you need also the widespread of Alluminium also for the Durallumin
  10. Yeah I was thinking in the wrong language (here when there are both male and female in a group. it's used the male word), It's happen when you just woke up Anyway as you point, it's possible that now you may Snap someone with regular Emotional Allomancy (also if I didn't understand yet if only the threeshold was lowered or also if there is an actual change of Snapping method)
  11. To me it means "only" that a Honorblade's bond is weaker than a RK's one. A Sprenblade is more linked to his owner than an Honorblade (this may be untrue in the case of Herald-Honorblade). We know also that more a RK progress in his Oaths, more his Bond become stronger and more efficient He become to use Stormligt. Honorblade's stormlight use is worse than a RK in the middle of his progression (3 Oaths on 5), this is another clue about the Strenght of Honorblades' bond (I repeat myself, I don't know if this would change with the Heralds)
  12. In the end..if I manage to grab an Honorblade in a fight...would It give me Surgebinder's power while we keep contact ? (It would be an interesting information to ask)
  13. noisy children
  14. When the Alluminium will become common, you may still gain the passive benefit of an High Invested being...It's not so bad ;-)
  15. I like this theory, but nothing prevent from "surge" with an hypotetical pair with "void" to be the last the hypotetical 10 types
  16. Uuuh Cool question, I never considerated it (upvote). But I think it's impossible, or probably all the Nobles would use this method instead to beat almost to death their sons
  17. Yes any kind of Hemalurgic Spike (at least from Human donator) may work as Blessing...Of course It has the same limitation of a Kandra's "standard" Blessings (it has to be not used by other beings)
  18. Yes, as I posted before the theory of the Stormfather as only Bondsmith's spren was debunked
  19. The idea may be good, but I find hard to believe that 10 Surgebinders with unlimited Investiture at their disposal. May statisticaly died at every Desolation (the Last one with Taln as only victim was an exception not the norm)...The Surgebinding's Healing alone would be capable to stop a lot of wound of them. Neither, I will expect some futureshadow in the TWoTK's prologue from Kalak's PoV
  20. Like Randuir said. We don't know if Adonalsium was an Shard-like Entity. He/She/it may be "pure self-sentient power", A shard-like being (tons of power+ mortal vessel) or also a Physical being with unlimited power at his disposal. Of course IF Adonalsium was a Shard-like being his/her body would spawn at his/her death...but it's an ancient event in the Cosmere's History, everything may be happened to this hypotetical corpse
  21. You have damnation right...But I am a new Seer I have my old skill yet
  22. Now I am a Seer, fear me folk! But....ehm, have someone some extra Atium that does not use ?
  23. I recive a real WoB on this problem on Reddit: This mean that every Chasmfield have a Emerald as GemHeart and that having a specific and costant Polestone as Gemheart is a features of many Greatshell's species.
  24. I actually manage to get a real answer with a real WoB here: This mean that many Greatshell species have a setted Polestone as Gemheart but there are some species with a variable Gemheart
  25. Actually Brandon said he doesn't want to show the Cosmere's afterlife (The Beyond) . At most we may explore the limbo where the mind of a recent dead stay before go in the actual afterlife...but we actully already see it to be honest
