No one answered if I can actually have a gigantic 250,000 square mile rock... I've started coming up with possible races for it as well. The Gauldur Boretha, led by the Mikill Einn (most of these words are in the modern version of old norse- Icelandic.) The normal Gauldur (common short name) have small amounts of orange lumuoles and white lumuoles, but barely any magic. They are exceedingly strong and fast, 5 or six times stronger than a normal human and about 3 times faster. They feed upon things containing lumuoles, and the larger the amount the more they crave said plant or animal. Mikill Einn have large amounts of almost all lumuoles, and therefore have an affinity for all but fire magic. They also are 2 times faster and stronger than the normal Gauldur Most tribes only have 1-2 Mikill Einn per tribe, of which there are 100, give or take a couple. Gauldur are easily burned, as they produce an oil they is nearly as flammable as gasoline. The fungus they eat, Sveppur Gullgeretharlist, has large amounts of lumuoles, more than most plants and non-sentient beings, and the only thing worth hunting for them one their island is a large crocodilisk, about 45 feet in length. There appearance is that of an approximately 7 foot frilled lizard. They can stand on two legs like a raptor, but usually revert to four legs to hunt. So, would this race be acceptable? Also, I think it would be cool to do RPs in this world later after things are a little more smoothed out.

1. I don't really care, but I would prefer a place that has quite a few lightning storms, and quite humid as well. 2. I think 500 miles at widest point would do... New Area of my less over-sized lodestone: 250,000 sq miles

I was wondering if I could join... I was also wondering if I could have a magically-enhanced lodestone. say, about 2000-3000 miles in diameter at the largest point and 15 km above the ground? (I want to introduce a mostly semi-intelligent species there. By mostly, you will see when I post again.)

I don't think so. If Shardplate "bleeds" Stormlight, as well as stormlight allows it to reform, then I would think that it's made purely from Stormlight, and surgebinders are able to cast it around themselves. After all, Surgebinders can make their helms dissappear. And, gravity and adhesion wouldn't work well on pure light now, would they?
