1) All these conditions are true except when working with nonliving matter, the composition of the material changes slowly the longer the enhancements continue. Therefore, things like his sword and armor stay the same during a storm other than they have slightly decreased effectiveness. Living matter rejects the recompositioning, therefore is completely nulled during a storm. 2) He can heal a specific wound faster if he concentrates on it, but it slows the rest of the healing. Decapitating him would make him grow a new head. Minus a few memories, he'd be fine. The original head would heal a bit, then die. 3) Well, he's almost undoubtedly been in a storm before this, and promptly found what his weakness was. And as for allying with Rainmaker, he did use to be a genius. Being shot in the head probably didn't help with that, but, he's still smart (though not as much... and he uses it in different ways) Thanks for your opinions!

Once again I'm answering Blaze's doubts. Here we go; 1) Well, the point of the armor is (1) to intimidate, and (2) getting shot still hurts just as much for him. He doesn't like being "killed". Oh, and, (3) enhancements on non-organic materials continue working partially with his weakness in effect. 2) If you could manage to get through the armor, you could blow him up. It's hard to heal from that, especially since there's no blood letting his brain think... 3) As ChickenPlauge said, he's trying to make it so his weakness is stopped, and at least have warning when it comes.

Answering Blaze's questions- ( I don't know how to quote) 1) He will enter through the Tangent Beta Checkpoint. I will edit this. 2) I know this. He will use this only with Rainmaker's permission (he doesn't seem to care about the rest) or outside the city. 3) He can certainly take a shot through the head, and it didn't kill him (this was in the profile), as well as his armor protects the rest of him, so most people and epics in the city can't harm him. He's making sure to ally with the one(s) that can. It's mostly about his weakness, though, not pure strength. 4) I changed his weakness so that they're all the same. Also, making his skin that hard would make it impossible to move. (All of the object/piece has to be enhanced)

Chasmfiend hated applications, including the one he was answering right now. He had been lucky that the line quickly dissapated when he cqame on his beast. However, to become a citizen of Corvallis, he had to finish this application without killing the interviewer. She was very pretty, of course. It's what you expected when you were going to paradise. "Are you an epic?" "Yes, I am an epic." "Name?" "My name is Chasmfiend. And please speak in full sentences." She rolled her eyes at that. "What is your pre-calamity name?" "My name was once Darren Jarnot." "Fourth question. What are your powers? You don't have to tell us everything, but it is recommended, as it establishes your usefulness and standing while in Corvallis." "I will go ahead and tell everything. I can create and control this beast, as I'm guessing you guessed. I can split the ground to create canyons or chasms. I heal incredibly fast, and my touch increases the healing speed of others. Finally, I can enhance a material's properties, making them lighter, stronger, etcetera." "Ah, now, my favorite question; what is you weakness?" He glowered at her. "I am certain Rainmaker will find out soon enough. If she doesn't, then she doesn't deserve to rule." "OK, then. A couple more questions, and you're free to enter." He threw it off the side, where the creature ate it. "Okay, sir, this is your house." "Good. You may leave." He scrambled away. " Time to relax, Gemheart. Our journey is done. We will be able to rest for awhile." This, of course, was false.
