Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This game, I'm hoping to be a bit more active and analytical instead of dead, hopefully. I think it's critical that we get some sort of discussion going, so let's talk about the quick votes at the beginning of the cycle. Personally, doing that seems like a poor move for an eliminator to make. Why try to lynch immediately and draw suspicion? So, I'm putting Maill and Stink on my tentative villager list for now. It would be nice to have some sort of explanation behind Stink's vote on Adavantos, though. I don't really have a read on anyone else yet. Current Analysis (I'll probably copy-paste this and update it throughout each cycle with activity and suspicions) Also, with the code requirement, we need not worry about inactives.- 493 replies

I don't think people should stop making new Epics, we just need more people to start making new vanillas.

Is that What Happened in the Dalles? Apologies if I literally just came up with the same plot. I haven't read through all of WHIO yet.

I assume they weren't very good parodies, then? -
I think it would be interesting to have a small outcropping of vanillas who have somehow managed to escape Epic control. There could be corruption and mistrust, but comparatively, it would be better than being ruled by Epics. Theoretically.

They definitely should. Whether that actually happens or not... Also I wrote TARDIS physics in circular Gallifreyan.

Ripple begins crying. "They have five copies... five whole copies of wonderful Mistborn excitement... and I still won't get it for a month..." She then begins dolefully playing on her piccolo. Except it squeaks. A lot.

You are amazing, Twi! Eat a banana, that might help. Edit: On second thought, it might be a bit late to suddenly wolf down a banana. -
Reading the same books as your children

I would definitely recommend at least the first 6 Guardians of Ga'Hoole books. They were definitely some of my favorite books growing up. -

So, theoretically, what would happen if multiple votes were all changed to a certain target who didn't have any votes before, and that person got lynched? (Who would get the Aviar?)- 493 replies

This is why I hate 3.8 paragraphs, and five paragraph essays in general. -
I pledge my piccolo Soundsplinter to the cause of the Knightbloods. You didn't say it had to be a sword... And for the record, I am a very dangerous weapon. Is there any present need for high notes, miss? (No, I think we'll be fine.) Pity. I rather enjoy exploding ears.

How is the end even possible? Three villagers would have to die in order for it to end now. -

The Christmas special, which really ought to be the New Years Special. After reading up a bit on Chris Chibnall, my excitement for Moffat's departure has waned. I really don't want more Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. O.O -

... well, at least I knew it came out. And I'm typically the last to know about these sorts of things. -
I've been listening to some of the Sixth Doctor ones, and the beginning of Whispers of Terror is hilarious. XD Peri: You don't know where we are. The Doctor: Of course I know. I know exactly where we are. Peri: Oh, yeah? The Doctor: Yeah. We're in the TARDIS. Peri: That's not what I meant. The Doctor: It's what you said. Where we are, you said. I did think it was a rather redundant question, even from you.
