Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Earlier I didn't have the chance to make a full-fledged post. Apologies. critical critical I really am most suspicious of Maill. He has provided absolutely no evidence behind his suspicions of me and Ada and his posts already sounded off to me. ... and this is what I deem a full-fledged post. I'm really trying to be more active this game, and I know it's a fault of mine.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Hellscythe, I merely meant that with the sudden lynch train, it would be quite a surprise if eliminators weren't involved somehow. It is also quite likely that most of the people who voted are villagers.- 493 replies

RippleGylf replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
Apparently it's because BBC wants to make their own streaming service, and they can't do that without their most popular shows, can they? I'm not too torn up about it because I already had to go through this last year when Amazon Prime lost Doctor Who with no warning. My brother had literally just seen The End of Time part 2 and couldn't see the Eleventh Hour for a month or two. Luckily, my library gets the DVDs. -

RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Stink. perilous I don't really feel like any of the people up for lynch are eliminators. I am most suspicious of Arraenae, but the votes on her seem rather sudden. If she turns out to be a villager, I would bet that some eliminators were involved with the lynch.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This whole back and forth between Stink and Hellscythe has been absolutely ridiculous. I hate to be critical, but seriously? Why the sudden escalation? In other complaints, the entire cycle seems to be, "Oh, which of these near certain villagers are we going to kill now?" I'm keeping my vote on Stink for now, but I would really like someone who could actually be an eliminator to vote for.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I know this, but the three people voting for PK say otherwise. If we must kill a pretty much confirmed villager, it should at least be the one that will confirm the other. If PK dies and is innocent, Stink and Kynedath could both still be Traders.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Maill Emphasis mine. I feel like everyone is forgetting about this. If Stink is innocent, then PK is too. I honestly think that PK either got flustered by rule (mis)interpretation, or he's an eliminator. If we have to kill one of the two, I think we'll learn more from Stink. If Stink is innocent and dead, then PK is confirmed. If PK is innocent and dead, then no one is confirmed. Edit for vote retraction.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My original thinking that you were a tentative villager was based entirely on your first post vote for Stink last cycle. I assumed that since you were one of the first to post, you weren't trying to deflect attention, hence villager. However, the wording of your posts overall seems off. I'm sorry I'm not making it easy for you to defend, it's mostly gut at this point.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Maill is probably my biggest suspicion at the moment. All of his posts seem off, and honestly, I'm not quite understanding the PK or Ada suspicions. Ripple's suspicion list Hellscythe, you enjoying that new Aviar? Beauty is rather perilous. Got ninja'd a bit while writing this. (and by a bit I mean 9 posts O.O) List is up to date.- 493 replies

Random Stuff VII: The Admins Awaken
RippleGylf replied to Young Bard's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
...yes there is... *mildly groans* Right now in English class we're reading In Cold Blood. The way it's written, it seems like the author is trying to get the reader to sympathize with the murderers, but at the same time shows one of them running over a dog for absolutely no reason. It's not a really good book. -
Now you all will feel my pain. (Last year, they took it off of Amazon Prime literally the day after my brother saw the second End of Time. Had to wait two months before he could see the Eleventh Hour. Many tears were shed that day.)

RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Actually, I don't think I've said much on the matter this game. To be honest, I'm pretty suspicious of you, Lopen, for jumping onto luckat's vote. I'm suspicious of Maill too, just that he doesn't seem to be responding, so lynching him isn't bringing any discussion. Edit for vote retraction.- 493 replies

Mid-range Game 11: Paradise Lost
RippleGylf replied to twelfthrootoftwo's topic in Sanderson Elimination
"Honestly, Avis, you could be more subtle about trying to steal all the Aviar. You have been rather blunt about it," Ripple chided. vulnerable "What a perilous thing to suggest," Avis replied, eyes teeming with laughter. "as if spooky white text was any different." integrity "Honestly, how can you treat this with such levity?" penchant "Because the Aviar stealing isn't the point. The point is to find who the traitor-traders are." "... fair enough." -----------------------I Poor attempts at rp aside, we are getting some good discussion, just not in the way I would like. Most of the votes right now seem to be leaping at minor inconsistencies. There may be one or two cases where this is actually correct, but we should be wary of being too critical. Wording could be awkwardly put simply because they have to hide a code word in it. Guessing codes during the first cycle doesn't seem like a smart move. As the game goes on, it will be easier to distinguish codes, due to repetition.- 493 replies
