I think my favorite part of the book was Dross bullying Northstrider's Codex.

I am completely on board with you on all of that. I also suspected we would see Li Markuth again and then was basically sure of it when the mentioned the prison break in the earlier chapters. It was cool though to get an idea of how powerful he actually was since Foundation Lindon and Suriel weren't the best of litmus tests... I found it pretty interesting that he was actually more powerful than Monarchs so without Suriel's initial intervention he might of actually succeeded in his original attempt. 

I finished it last night. It was fun ride. The last 10 chapters or so felt a little rushed but not too bad. I really like that Northstrider ascended since it basically ensures we'll see him again. I also really liked the Li Markuth/Mad King tie-in, that gave some nice extra weight (and closure) to the story as a whole.

I'm enjoying it. Ziel just killed the Weeping Dragon.

Do you know if Last Horizon is confirmed to be under the Abidan umbrella? I assume it is but I can't find anything confirming it (outside of the Lindon blooper maybe).

I'm pretty sure he has confirmed that his next project after Last Horizon is a return to Traveler's Gate.

Have you read Will Wight's new book "The Captain - The Last Horizon"? The bloopers at the end have a fantastic Lindon scene.

I also really enjoyed the Archlord Black Dragon Remnant that got absolutely bullied by Lindon. He had me literally laughing out loud.

It was fun, I'm glad Dross is back.

Yeah, I've had more exposure to Indirial now, he is fun. The dolls as a whole have grown on me too.

After a brief break to knock out Uprooted and then the Cytoverse novellas and Cytonic. I'm back in Abidan. I finished up House Of Blades and as of last night I'm about 1/4 through Crimson Vault. This one has been kind of weird. I like the books and the story but I don't actually like any of the character individually. If pressed I guess I would say Simon is my favorite but... meh...

I'm actually currently reading "Uprooted" by Naomi Novik. But yeah, Traveler's gate is in queue.

I finished up Elder Empire this weekend, Shuffles significantly grew on me. Good call!

I've preferred Shera as a character, but Sea as a story. My favorite character in the series at this point is Bliss though.

Yeah, I am no stranger to the wait, it was a nice change of pace. I'm currently working my way through Elder Empire and then I'm going to read Traveler's gate after. No I haven't joined any of the discords. I figured I'd give myself a full read through of the books before I let other people influence me on them. I find I get more out of 2nd reads of series when I do it that way.

I started Unsouled last Wednesday with the plan of slowly working through the books... And then didn't have power for 4 days with the storms that hit the Eastern US last week... So now I'm patiently waiting for book 11... oops
