  1. How many hours a day do you think you spend on 17th shard? I hope no one already asked that question I didn't go through the whole topic.
  2. I think part of the reason for that interlude is to show off that large spren Cusicesh. It will probably be important sometime.
  3. Lets pretend that the Everstorm is as bad as Hurricane Katrina; almost 2000 people died in that. I don't know enough about the size of the shin population to tell what percentage that would be. What I'm more concerned about is the aftermath. Sure a lot of shin might survive, but they will have NOTHING. I like the idea of that tiny pot of grass becoming the only shinovar grass left. Edit: spelling
  4. So, I was perusing the wiki, when I found this: http://coppermind.net/wiki/The_Highprince_of_War And I know Sanderson has changed the flash back sequence, so that Dalinar's flashbacks are in 3 (most likely). But look at this part. This is very vague. However, now it is time to speculate.Do you think Dalinar will die before we reach book five?
  5. For me, I get really exited when ends meet. So basically, any scene where characters finally meet or get to know each other. Kaladin saving Dalinar's army, the "ho! bridge boy" encounter, Amaram coming to camp (that actually made me more apprehensive than excited), like every one else is saying: the chasms scenes, Szeth attacking Dalinar and failing because of our favorite wind runner, and of course: boots. Boots, for me though, was more then just a side splitter (though it was that too). I had been waiting for Kaladin and Shallan to meet ever since I saw their very first POVs and Sanderson made their meeting better than I had ever imagined it too be.
  6. Well, if we are relating Stormlight stuff in real life, I saw what looked like a high storm at the beach the other evening.
  7. Oh, I'm just in the mood for saying random things in places on this forum that most people won't think to look at. I had a dream the other night where Hoid had raised a family in an old west town. Most of his kids were ragamuffins that played in the street, while the oldest was a proper little lady. . . Except she, a 10 year old, dragged Nightblood around with her every where. Yep.

We have a thread for that. :)

    2. Mistrunner

      Tha...that's beautiful...

  8. Hmm. . . Historical figure? The thing is, if I had dinner with a famous person I looked up to from history, it would most likely ruin my opinion of them. I would probably just want to have a quick chat with my mom from when she was my age.
  9. Granted, but you are now allergic to metals Somebody give me a very large piece of crispy bacon.
  10. Color: pearl. A color that is ooh so vague Food: I'm pretty sure bacon is too awesome to count, so I'll go with huevos rancheros. Spren: is there a type of spren that is attracted to socially awkward book geeks? Cause its that kind.
  11. Very strange. You see, I don't actually believe in Austre. I'm just filling in for someone else, until they come back from Pahn Kahl. Then I can go back to my radiant. To answer YOUR questions Mistrunner: The human I am bonded to's name is Eneless. You wouldn't know about her. She's young, but visited the old magic and is stuck with silver hair. According to the wiki the person who wrote the second letter is called Frost. (Though I have no idea who that is) The last one, umm. . . umm. . . RAFO? EDIT: didn't see Mistrunner's question
  12. So I saw this board and thought, "why not?" You now have my permission to ask me anything you want.
  13. What. . . Is. . . Wrong with you?
  14. Hello! Welcome! Have a starting upvote! For some reason you are supposed to be warned not to except cookies, (they are usually hermalugicly spiked around here.)
  15. Well, I'm just usually not for any ship with a span of 6 years or more between them. Usually. And puhlease, if you want a ridiculous ship try this one on for size: Lift/Sadeas (note the irony)
  16. . . . Jasnah is 14 years older than him.In the subject of Kaladin ships, I don't know. There may or may not be potential in him and Laral, but I don't know. It's just too early on. About characters people like and don't like, I would hate to be the person who comes in here and says, "I really liked Sadeas. Why did he have to die? "
  17. Granted, you no longer have a voice at all. I want a tardis that travels through cosmere books instead of time and space.
  18. A few other things: Kolos have horns. They are horns that curve to the side like a black dragon's from D&D. The God King has no hair on his head whatsoever. (Also, when I first heard of him in the book, before we had met him, I imagined him in armor. Guess that's what I get for reading [and playing] Infinity Blade before Warbreaker. . .) Wit looks about 25. Alethi dresses show a LOT of leg, as they have very long slits on both sides. Ardents are air benders minus the tattoos and beads. Concerning spheres: chips are the size AND SHAPE of a finger nail. Marks are cats eye marbles, with gems instead of what ever is in a marble. Broams are the size of golf balls. Chulls are very large and slightly less cutesy dwebbles from Pokemon. They even have a shell made out of stone. Chasm fiends are D&D's shadow dragons without wings. Shard plate looks like the stuff the God King wears in infinity blade. It took me a while to realize there was a skirt. And last: skyeels are the kind of creatures inside the thunderhead from Skyward Sword. If you are a Zelda fan you will understand. Wow. I have A LOT of misconceptions.
  19. Not poking holes in your theory at all, and not trying to disprove it, but where did we find out that The Night Watcher was of Cultivation? I really just can't remember. Thank you!
  20. Okay. Sorry for my bad memory (Even though I have read WoR about 5 times, I still read WAY to fast)
  21. There is a place in the series somewhere that says there were only 3 bondsmiths ever at a time. I can't remember where though. Just saying.
  22. Wow. I never knew that, but looking back it makes sense. Could you possibly link or quote the WoB this was found in so that I can read it?
  23. To be honest, I don't really care! I'm just over here fangirling all over the place
  24. Omygosh, OMYGOSH, OMYGOSH!!!!!!!!!!! Look what I found!!! (WARNING: IF YOU CLICK ON THIS LINK PREPARE YOURSELF FOR MEGA SPOILERS ) http://www.tor.com/2014/09/30/brandon-sanderson-stormlight-archive-book-3-first-chapter/
