  1. We also need a way to pull all our characters together, which I think was going to be the main first plot in general. They all team up and fight a group of criminals. Some big event needs to draw them together.
  2. I don't know why, but I have always found that song to fit him. Especially since he tells Vin that although they are Mistborn, they are still human. I just heard it and thought that it fit Kelsier and the general Mistborn spirit. Doomsday by Globus just fits Ruin, and the general Hero of Ages plot. Same with End of All Hope by Nightwish.
  3. Or the classic1: go into bookstore 2: see that they have no Sanderson 3: leave bookstore cursing in Alethi as you lower your opinion of said bookstore.
  4. I really don't think we need another gang in town that doesn't fit into our plot. If you have an idea for a plot point, please tell us. I'd rather not start something blind.
  5. Fixed it for you! ^^ I love the idea of a Doctor Who/Cosmere crossover. I think Ten would love Nalthis.
  6. Feruchemist. Hands down. So much more practical. I want that copper. And mental speed. Also, to those who want to steelpush off things, I'm fairly sure you could increase your strength and then decrease weight and jump and still get the same effect. Feruchemy is too cool.
  7. I don't know what to think of those videos, Kobold.
  8. We got our next foster today! His name is Simba and he's absolutely adorable. Golden this time, probably with a bit of malamute or another type of dog. He's small, but his face reminds me of one of the big working dogs from the arctic circle. He's also got big paws two. Probably about two years old. He's great!
  9. Just got back from the band trip, too. To San Antonio. It was fun, for the most part. We went to Seaworld which was garbage though. There were some fun room stories, and some inside jokes formed. Our band director started saying "good gravy" and acted like a class A goof. We also stumbled across another director's social media, and let me say, it was fantastic. "I'm hot like Mexico" was the best of his posts. One of the guy's rooms was great apparently. One night they said that the pair sharing one bed came up with the "karate chop bed of swaggies" in which they would chant "ching ching ching" randomly in the night and karate chop each other. One of the guys who's a friend of mine bought a $15 pair of sunglasses on the first day. He didn't take them off. Once. He rode them on every ride, did everything with them. It was great. Also we rode the same ride at Seaworld 20 times together, to the point where we didn't even get off. Because we weren't going to see the Shamu shows. Gross. But anyway, when the car would leave the platform, he'd look right at the employees and say "Got my swag back!" in a really rapper-ish voice. It was quite hilarious. He walked into ap world today with the glasses, looked at the teacher, and said "got my swag back!" I think she died.
  10. Seriously considering making that Aluminium savant. For the giggles and irony. He could literally just burn it out of boredom and he got used to it. It does nothing but he still burns it.
  11. My whole reason for making this post was because I couldn't get SAI.. so..
  12. I want to watch Star Wars. But homework ;-;
  13. (Venture, in the future could you try to have some more lines per post? The minimum is four. Just so things don't slow down.) Alahya didn't like this guy. The way he approached, the way he was probably listening.. it rubbed her the wrong way. Made him sound more like a spy, not at all like this other small girl that Resool seemed to have taken a liking to. "Depends on who yer are," she replied back, crossing her arms across her chest. "If yer workin' for anyone else. Don't need no spies, now do we?" Resool didn't speak, but he kept his eyes fixed on the stranger. He was a bit unnerving, towering there behind them. He wasn't built strongly, but was still very tall like the typical Terrisman. Despite th fact he wasn't an emotional Allomancer, he had no Allomancer blood whatsoever, he still tried to read the young, strange man who called himself Ven.
  14. Picked up Hero of Ages again, instead of reading my required school reading.
  15. I am defeated. Just got back from band trip. Still have homework. Its 11:30 at night. No sleep, again. Oh yes. I haven't had a good night's sleep in like two weeks.
  16. (Sorry for my absence. Band trip. Will reply to things tomorrow)
  17. (Gonna reply to both Bella and Ven in this post) Resool shrugged. "We don't need full price. These aren't the best horses." Alahya chimed in, "And we got 'em for free anyway. Dunno what we expected." "We got them from a friend, not stole them," Resool sighed, glancing at her. "You're far too over dramatic." He paused, looking back at Bella. "We'll take that inn you mentioned. Sounds good, perfect for us. We could easily work on what we need there." Alahya stiffened, seeing someone walk over to them. Before she could speak, the guy spoke instead. "Excuse me, but do you have a job opening?" He asked. "I can build guns and and I am a-an Seeker." She narrowed her eyes, glancing at Resool. "Why? Who are you? Why were you listening to us?" Resool didn't speak, but his manner changed entirely at the appearance of this new guy.
  18. Hot glue gun and avoiding my parents. Also an open window because they stink something nasty. You heat up the gun, then dab the crayon. Do not shove it into the gun. Just tap the tip into the crayon.
  19. When you give a copy of Mistborn to your band director because she's a great nerd. I tried to warn her too. Me- Just a thing about this, its pretty violent and gory if you don't like that don't read. Her- I think I can handle it c: Me- -thinking- honey you got a big storm comin'
  20. Student leader auditions. Today. I tried out for drill instructor and would be lucky to make it to the next phase. So we get there and get the tryout assignment. Not too hard, standard marching. But I'm still super nervous, to the point of tears. I was in the first squad to go. Of course, when I get nervous, my ability to curse goes up by like 400%. So as I was talking I would slip the unnecessary vulgar stuff in because I was so scared and guess. Who heard. The director. I. I messed up. So that didn't help. At all. But then the audition rolls around. My squad had six people in it. We turn on the metronome and go. Now, if you don't know marching band, I can tell you that they want us to count outloud. Loudly. Very loudly. Guess who was the only one who counted. Me. Lonely me. I. I could barely do it, I was shaking so badly and was so quiet. I was hoping someone else in the squad would count but no one did. At this point I nearly cried. I hated no one in the world at that moment as much as I hated my squad.
  21. Nice! Congrats! Section leader auditions went horribly and I have a ton of homework and haven't packed for the band trip yet oh yes I'm fine c:
  22. Building mine still. I have every book of his on my Kindle save for Alcatraz, The Reckoners, The Rithmatist, and Emperor's Soul, and I currently have hardcovers of Words of Radiance, Mistborn, Steelheart, and Firefight, and I have a paperback copy of Way of Kings I had to annotate for English. Many of these are currently with other people so I can't take a photo of my whole collection.
  23. That will work (on a side note, where do you find all the Twinborn combo names?) I will reply to your character as well as Winter's in my next post ^^
  24. You light up my heart just like the piccolo lights up the sharp side of a tuner

  25. "Why are ya here? Who are ya here for? Not just recruiting, right? Ya couldn't have expected to find allomancers or feruchemists in such a small town." She didn't look at him. "There's been more than normal here lately. Somethin' is gonin' be happening here, ain't it? And I've gotten myself of the stuckin' in the middle of it?" Resool let out a breath, looking off into the distance a bit, trying to figure out how to reply when Alahya, who had been listening to their conversation, spoke up. "Ya. We've gotten a'few reports o' some stolen things 'un other criminal stuff. Shouldn't be as dangerous as Res here describes," she said, not looking back. "Isn't too bad. Lightn' up, kiddo." Resool narrowed his eyes at her, sighing softly. Yes, this could get very dangerous very fast. He looked back down at Bella, deciding to change the subject before Alahya scared her even more. "Anyway, do you know of a place we could stay? One that cares for horses, I guess, unless you know someone who'd buy them."
