  1. I really like this theory. A bit like forgery, too. Nice.
  2. Ohhh this is fun. I'll be Resool (Full Feruchemist version) Could I also be a Returned? Or not allowed? I have two Returned ocs I've been itching to try out.
  3. Plays? That's pretty cool. I'm no good at ideas/writing myself, but I'd like to do one.
  4. Hm. I'm thinking that Resool would probably try to convince her to stay, mainly because of the danger she'd be in if she didn't. In any case, I was thinking about having him take Bella and they ride away to the inn, away from the fight, if that's cool with you guys.
  5. Sorry for not replying a lot! Been very busy. Let me read/maybe post. I'll try to post today but not making any promises.
  6. I get where parents are coming from but they go about it the wrong way. Geez, that sucks. And today is already bad. I was going to go out with some friends later but my dad said no. Not because its mother's day, which would have been fine with me; his excuse was "you work for me now. I hired you in my company." Yes, indeed you did. Yes, I have a job now. But you haven't even set up hours for me, nor have you set up a way to pay me. And now, it seems that he's using it as a way to control where I am. Example- he said that I can't spend time after school and catch the late bus unless I have something productive to do. I stay after often because I don't want to come home. Because I hardly ever get to hang out with my friends, I stay after. Because my mother doesn't understand that I feel mentally unstable and won't let me go see a therapist, which I've been trying to tell her for the past month, I stay after because my friends are there. And they help. Its the only security I really get. Now I feel that my dad is trying to take that from me. He doesn't seem to understand that I have homework and that I don't want to be up so late doing it. He doesn't get that finals are coming up, I'm pouring a lot of time into studying ap world, and that he picked a bad time for this. The summer is literally four weeks away for me. His timing couldn't be worse. And he doesn't listen because he's too stubborn. Because appearently he's always right and I'm always wrong.
  7. My mom keeps passive aggressively trying to get me to drive by picking me up from parties an hour earlier without texting me beforehand (because I could totally get a ride but noooo) and then saying "this would be easier if you had a car !!!" Bye.
  8. I used both at some point, and my Mac works far better than every Windows machine I've ever used. The resolution is cleaner, it doesn't crash as much, and doesn't get viruses. It can run huge programs and files that would cause my Windows machine to die. I don't game on it, nor do I need the large amount of programs Windows runs. All I need is my Adobe programs (which work better on Mac, anyway), Office (which has a Mac version) and Autodesk programs and I'm all set. There isn't much else I want a computer for, besides the internet, which works well on both machines. So Mac all the way.
  9. CLICHE LEVEL: OVER 9000
  10. I normally do that over the summer, but normally during the school year it isn't worth it. My body gets on a really tight sleeping schedule to the point where I'll wake up at 6:30 in the morning regardless of when I fall asleep.
  11. Just finished my mom's mother's day present Its 11:00 -wipes sweat off forehead- I'm not a nightowl this feels awful.
  12. This was me whenever I tried to read the last Divergent book.
  13. I checked up on that, isn't it the same as Fire Alpaca? In any case, I've been playing with Fire Alpaca more. Still not as good as SAI, but not horribly bad. Still looking.
  14. I have a Mistcloak. Will try.
  15. or like anything for that matter.I love math and science, but the classes drain me with all the grades and work.
  16. In the Sanderson fandom, there is only prey. I need to get my ap world teacher to read it, but my copy is currently "checked out" to a friend. And with four weeks of school left, I'm worried there won't be time!
  17. I have my first addition kindle still. owo it works better than the Fire. My copy of Steelheart is back home, but my copy of Firefight is gone again! Nu!
  18. I'm not entirely sure what's happening here.
  19. My teacher wanted me dead after it.
  20. Riot, attack, whatever. It still is a big point that needs to be worked out. I've been in rps where things like that happened randomly. It wasn't pretty.
  21. @Eowyn We can work out and edit the specifics a bit, but I feel that a riot would be a good way to bring them together, if we plan it correctly. I'd rather have the person who created Jon to play him. That's the same for all villains. If you have an idea for one, post it here, and you can play the villain for that plot. We could rotate the job around, too. @Venture you need to go on the last page and read what we're planning with your riot. We need input. Because a riot is kinda a big thing. If you have some huge, largely altering plot point for your character, please send it to me (via private message, if you want) before doing anything with it. So I can see it and okay it.
  22. Annotating a copy of Way of Kings for fun and handing it in for a grade. Imagining yourself as a Mistborn/Feruchemist/Surgebinder/etc even though you will never be one, but you can dream. Going on a rollercoaster and imagining reactions from characters.
  23. I'm fine with keeping the riot in, as long as it'll serve a purpose later on. I do like your idea, Uno, about using Jon. The attack could be from him, actually, especially if he heard that there's new lawmen in town. There could be some random attacks (that possibly Bella would know about, as I'm assuming she lives there), and she could explain the situation once everyone is gathered and at the inn. I do admit, though, I haven't been reading Eowyn and Uno's posts. I need to go do that when I have time. I'm awful oops.
  24. I think (just for sheer understanding of some of the themes and gore) you should wait. Maybe in middle school, after "the talk" is given and they have more knowledge about such things. Its definitely your choice, and isn't the worse thing you can read to them. But I feel that 9, 8, and 7 aren't really good ages for it. I do feel that you can read Sanderson to them, like Steelheart or the Rithmatist.
  25. With friends/family. I've been trying to get my mother to read them for ages. She's into the same things I am, and I think she'd love it. But work is really hard for her now and I can't. Bummed out. I've spread The Reckoners to one of my other friends. She's on Firefight and is really loving it. Mistborn is currently with one of my other friends, who's enjoyed it far more than he thought. He asked me earlier why Sazed was my favorite. "He's just a coach driver!" Hahahahashhah. His favorite is Kelsier. Way of Kings is with one of my friends, too. She's enjoyed it, and currently likes Adolin the best. She hates Elhokar, though. Or at least, finds him to be really dumb. One of my directors is reading Mistborn. Hopefully. I gave her another copy.
