  1. My understanding of the link between the Delver Maze and the Detritus Tunnels was that it was just the illusion that made them look like that to Spensa. Do we have any source for other people in the maze seeing the same writing as was on Detritus?
  2. I think Fortune is like Connection, you can store it with Feruchemy otheerwise interact with it as a property of the Cosmere.
  3. Metalmind nails. Rawr
  4. I do remember something like that...maybe it was just a misconception of the TFE world. About the Harmony getting a burst of power if harmony was disrupted, that theory is plausible, but why it would translate into speed bubbles I have no idea. I think it is more that Harmony is able to act than that he gets more powerful.
  5. Not all crews went on all runs, maybe about 10, and I doubt that Sadeas would have gotten half of them. Maybe a third, but even that seems unrealistic. So that's 525,000x(2/3)/4 = 87500 bridgemen losses for Sadeas. Also, Sadeas was one of the more callous highprinces sin terms of bridgemen lives. It goes to both extremes. Sadeas, with huge losses in bridges, and Sebarial and Dalinar, with little to no losses. And sniped by King of Nowhere. Considering both of our points, losses are nowhere near 5,000,000. Math corrected!
  6. A bit of a "You shall not pass!". There was once a Chinese general with a reputation for trickery. With only 100 men, he had to defend a town against 150,000 people. Knowing of his reputation, he opened the gates and sat on top of the walls playing a lute. The attacking commander, certain it was a trap, retreated. Note: Many details of this could be exaggerated or fabricated. Not sure if it's a true story or was in a book, but something similar probably happened once upon a time. Pretty cool story though.

    Marsh's Name

Probably Marshall or something. That would explain it. Who would want to be called Marshall?
  8. Do you mean Malatium? Gold is only for yourself. YOu wouldn't be able to see your patients' shadows.
  9. Messy when you get on their bad side... I'll leave you to interpret that yourselves Nightblood is like a jar of Canadian pennies.
  10. Was Peter not there yet?
  11. Sly Cooper is going to have a movie? This is awesome! That's 1 game I do know. I can't wait. I had so much fun with that game.
  12. SAY NO TO THE COOKIE!!! Seriously tim, I cannot stress my point enough here. Once you take a cookie... *shudder* Things are just never the same. The voices... Oh shades and silver the VOICES!
  13. BWAHAHA I did this exact thing on my second read-through, after I'd forgotten everything. I was just like, "oh, right. oops."
  14. It is because some of the power is used to "compress" itself, iirc. Not sure exactly how it works though.
  15. Well, Hoid could have gotten it from Adonalsium. Since Preservation was, after all, a part of Adonalsium before the Shattering, it stands to reason that Adonalsium could have given it to Hoid if he wanted.
  16. Feruchemy, even if only for the storing of attributes (heat, weight, etc.).
  17. Stephanie Meyer rewrote her book Twilight for its 10th anniversary, reversing the genders of everyone. What was an awful book turned into dreadful.
  18. , his noodly goodness
  19. The Stephanie Meyer rewrite of Ratatouille? http://twilightsaga.wikia.com/wiki/Life_and_Death:_Twilight_Reimagined
  20. What's Ratchet and Clank? Gonna go look it up. EDIT: Now, technically speaking, I didn't actually look up the bosses, so you don't have to kill me.
  21. Theory: Building directly form your post, when the metal was...passed through the human system, if it was looked at in the cognitive realm, it would not appear invested. Maybe Scadrian metal, by virtue of being connected to the planet, has something extra, sDNA or something, and chromium just removes that, making it normal metal.
  22. he may not have reformed the land, but he could have moved the place where the power of Ruin leaked out again, where the crystals regrew. That said, your point is still valid, as if he didn' move the Pits themselves, why would he have moved the structures?
  23. This is just a fluke. With such a small sample group (twinborn) you will naturally have huge differences between numbers of Twinborn combinations. That said, twinborn are extremely rare, and thus ~175 twinborn alive would be IMO a fairly reasonable amount to assume without any further WoBs on the subject.
  24. Dominion and Devotion could be paired. They are both forms of loyalty, though Brandon has already done the "paired shards on one shardworld" deal, making it unlikely that he'd do it again.
  25. What's iinteresting is that while the Shards may be immoral, they feel moral with what they are doing (I assume). Greater good and all that.
