Well, there was this city called Jeruzalem but you're right, there were no resources like gold etc. -

Just watched couple more episodes, and I'm getting a bit annoyed at Jessicas' actions and the worldbuilding. I'm still not done with the show, so my opinions may change, but for now...

Thank you I was stuck at 15. too, until I bought the Blackrock Mountain and League of Explorers. With now cards and a huge shift in meta I managed to climb. I still don't have Dr. Boom, so I still have room to improve my decks

Still Having a Bad Day? Exchange Your Rants For Hugs Here!

I'm not sure how to feel about the colonization events and extermination of so many nations. I'm from Europe that did all the terrible things, but at the same time I'm from Poland, one of the countries that didn't have any colonies... Guess I'll just feel sad because of all the lives and cultures lost. Humans are the worst monsters on this planet, without a doubt. I'd like to point out, that not every culture that got in touch with Europeans got wiped out or dominated. China and middle east got influenced by us, but those cultures were far from being dominated by Europeans. India, despite being kind of British colony still preserved a lot of it's culture as far as I know. So I guess, those cultures that were growing up with contact with Europe managed to survive as they knew they had to have ways to protect themselves and they learned from Europeans how to fight. While Native Americans had to face battle-hardened Europeans without centuries of experience in war. And to change subject a bit: Something bad happened to my right shoulder and now I can rise my elbow higher than my nippels :/ It hurst badly when I try to raise it higher. The doctor I've visited gave some ointment but it's not helping much... I feel like a half T-Rex having reduced functionality of one arm -
Argons' post edited, now this whole story is just made up.
-
Oh, I didn't remember those parts about Germany. If that's a problem I'll edit my post to make it that Argon is making it all up
-
Lies? So what is your story of Europe?
-
Sooo.... Argon is still on his way to Corvallis I figured, that 15km walk would take about 3 hours and I won't make the mistake of skipping ahead of time again! So yeah, I came up with a story for what happened in Europe, because why not. I hope it doesn't conflict with anything anyone else wrote here somewhere as I haven't read other cities. Anyone interested in interactions with Argon? Will Buttercup try to intercept him to talk or rather stay quiet and wait to see how it all goes on?
-
After half an hour of walking south from Adair Village, Argon thought he knew everything there is to be known about Corvallis, local politics, local epics even about local flora and fauna. Rick, as his travel companion introduced himself, was a bottomless well of information about the city. Most of those informations were mare gossips, but still, it was nice to hear someone talk after long days of solitude in the forests. Argon still didn't reveal his nature, preferring not to ruin Vanillas good mood. It was important to keep low profile and avoid upsetting anyone, even a simple gossiping delivery boy. "...and there I was, standing above the dead Epic, with this beautiful lady crying in my shoulder. Too bad I had to wake up the next second. What about you? Can you tell any interesting stories to kill the time on our way?" Rick asked. "Well... I'm not really a storyteller type, but I can tell you a rumour I've heard about what's going on in Europe, or rather what was going on soon after Calamity rose." Argon answered, making up a story. He was always good at making up stories. "You see, a peculiar thing happened in Poland. The president and most of millitary command became Epics. Typically, that would lead to huge power struggle and civil war, however the president managed to convince everyone to work together. There were always a lot of nationalists there, many of them became Epics. It wasn't that hard for him to channel their lust for power with a couple of very well made speeches, reminding them of the events of World War II." "Polish military managed to stay organized, reinforced by Epics, driven by their hunger for revenge against Germans and Russians. Poland stayed united, by creating two big enemies for itself. White Eagle, as the president named himself after becoming a very powerful Epic, led the assault on Berlin himself. Couple month later, Moscow crumbled beneath organized Epic and military attacks, not able to mount any decent resistance. As far as I know, the middle and eastern Europe is still ruled by White Eagle and the Husars, a squad of well trained high Epics... So, how was that for a story?" "You're making this up man. There's no way an entire country survived the Calamity." "I'm not lying to you, those are the stories I've heard. But sure, they might be made up, think of them as you please. There's no way you'll get to Europe to check it out yourself anyway..." And so they walked, 8 kilometers left before they reach the Corvallis city itself.

The positive emotions in the second clip always cheers me up, it's impossible to feel gloomy while watching/listening to it The face thing is made with special characters some from arabic alphabets, some from other places... the wonders of UTF-8, allowing us to use so many characters not present on our keyboards ∩(▽)∩ ╚(•⌂•)╝ (╯°□°╯ ┻━┻ table flip ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Also, there are those one-character ones: http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/emoticons.html

I'm currently at episode 6 and my thought so far are quite the same as others. David Tennant is just brilliant! Now we know what we should expect if his Doctor turned evil... I also think that there is just too much unnecessary bed scenes. I'm not a prude or anything, the view of people having fun without clothes is fine with me, but at some point it seemed like the producers needed something to fill the episode with and didn't have any better ideas.

A bit of necromancy from me, but well, I wanted to see if any sharders from Europe still play HS, so I can have someone to add as a friend I'm playing Warlock, mainly Zoo as I still don't have cards for Handlock. But even if I had, I'd prefer Zoo, it's much more fun and dynamic I've reached rank 11 this season, but I hope I'll do better in December

I've seen Lord of the Dance live last year. Seeing it with my own eyes, even if it's smaller in scale than recorded Feet of Flames was just breathtaking!

Much, much worse things than that can be found on 4chan... It's like if you want to see the realization of Rule 34 of the internet for anything, 4chan/b/ is the place to go and ask around.
