Hey guys! It's cycle two! And you know what that means! Full personal disclosure! Yay! Okay, so I'm Gaotona from Emperors Soul. My goals are to find Shai and give her an essence mark, my second goal, which I will keep secret for now, and my last goal is to create 2 essence marks and give them to other people. So as you can see, I'm nice, nobody wants to kill me, and my goals help other people. On that note, if whoever is Wan ShaiLu could send me a PM, I would appreciate it.

Or give me his rep. If he doesn't want it, then I'll take it. Also, rep seems to usually be used when people find something funny, or at least mildly amusing, or when they really do like something that was posted, and less used for showing agreement. So I'm not entirely sure that was their goal. Assassin? O_O Did not see that coming. About how common is it for people to start with items?

Well. I was just ranted at. Slightly. When I said that he was playing the same, I was talking about the poke votes. I honestly haven't done SE for the past couple months before this, so maybe I missed something, but I remember way back when it was rare for STINK's posts to be longer than 2 lines, and he would vote on 3 different people in the same cycle. At the same time. (He's THAT good.) I never said his reasoning wasn't good, just that I don't think we need a cycle 1 lynch, so I voted on STINK to try and even the vote out, so we get a tie. If there's a tie, then nobody dies. That is the reason why I voted for STINK. I am probably more likely to agree with magestar, (#facepalmbuddiesforeverforthewin) but only if I agree with his points.

I don't have any problems with you voting on STINK, I'm just saying that we don't need to. I'll probably still try and keep the balance, but if people find enough reasons to vote for someone that they get lynched anyway, then I've got no problem with that.

Okay, so I just got myself caught up on the 5 pages of thread I'd missed, and it looks like it's down to magestar or STINK on the voting right now. I'm not entirely sure that magestar meant to start a bandwagon, (and yes, I've seen what you posted, STINK,) but on the other hand, the random poke voting thing that STINK did? A: I've done that before, (I died SO fast for that one,) and B: read STINK's signature. See all those quotes about his dubious mental state? (I'm sure you're perfectly sane!) Yeah. Those are legit quotes, and this tends to be STINK's playstyle. So I don't really have a good reason to vote for either person, so I won't. Right now, it's at a tie, and I'm perfectly happy to keep it there. If another vote pops up, or more information or something, then I might change it, but right now, I don't have that many suspicions on other people, so I'm not gonna vote. And last thought for this post? Just remember guys, that how we win is through our goals. We don't have to kill each other or do the whole lynchy thing.

*Gasp* He just revealed one of his goals! Quick! Someone tie him down or something so he can't complete it! We must use every weapon in our arsenal to keep others from accomplishing their goals! (Yeah, the majority of this post was me being sarcastic at myself for my first thought when reading STINK's post. "Free information! Abuse it!")

I think that's more likely to hit innocents though. You either have someone who wanted to go somewhere else and did, or the one person on the planet who killed someone, and then randomly left afterwards without reason. the other people are much more likely to get targeted by that then the killer.

Well, if you've got a character who's no threat to anybody else, and there's no reason to be targeted by anyone else, then they might reveal their role. I guess the problem is that with all the different roles, we don't know that nobodies going to target them.

So first cycle, don't give out names. Gotcha. What about asking after specific people? If I need to find Kaladin for a totally-not-assassination quest, could I ask other people if they've seen him? (Through spying actions or something.) And with the whole "Go to home planet" thing, some people might, if they get bonuses for being there, but if they have somewhere else to be, they'll probably head there instead. So I think it's a lot more likely that people are just going to do what benefits them. If they go to their HP, (Home Planet) then they'll get a bonus, if they fly around picking up money or items, then they get more money/items, or if their an independent, and have no HP, then they'll try and accomplish whatever goals they have. So I don't really see anyone following it exactly. They're more likely to just do whatever floats their cosmere-y boat. It is a nice idea though, and it's a good thing it was brought up.

Well, you guys were pretty close, but the "L" stands for "Lame." All Lame Deaths. I'm still kinda hung up on an MR game in the mountains. I died to a butter knife guys, a butter knife. In the back! I have also been killed by a shovel, fallen off a vehicle of some kind, and I think I might have been eaten by some kind of creature once. So I have experience. All Lame Deaths indeed.

Okay, so I've basically dropped off the map internet for the last couple months, but hey, I'm back now, and there's no better way than in a good ol' rousing game of kill-the-other-person-before-you-die-all-the-deaths. (Or KtOPBYDALD for short.) I'll have my character be called Emrys Morge.

For day-to-day life, I'd choose feruchemical zinc and allomantic tin. Not too tricky to get either one, and would be useful for school. My other options would be feruchemical bronze (more total sleep time) and allomantic pewter. Honestly, almost any of the feruchemical ones would be handy, but some of the allomantic ones only work with the magic system.

theory An Possible Explanation for Taravangian's Diagram

This is just my personal theory on it, but the way I see it, The Knights Radiant are the long shot, the gamble. If they succeed, and avert the crisis, then that's the best Roshar's going to get. But that chance is slim. So ol' Taravangian is given the diagram from possibly, cultivation, which has a better chance of success, but involve the death of lots of good people, including people who have enough personal honor to reject his plan. Many of which have been picked to be knights radiant, or will be. Or could have been. So Taravangian is playing it safe, trying to keep Roshar alive, but afterwards, it leaves him as the dictator of a world. (At least that's where I see his plan going.) That's probably just an aside to him, from what I've figured out, but due to his "infliction," he has a remarkable lack of morals, as we can see by his gathering of death rattles. The Knights Radiant are kinda the leftovers of Honor's plan to rescue the planet, while the Diagram is the updated and more assured, but not taking the common man into account. Or entire countries, as we can see from that one country that Taravangian started a war in. It's in the pursuit of the "greater good," right? So it's all okay, right? Apparently not, as many people come away from WoK and WoR seeing Taravangian as a villain, which he is. But he's got his heart in the right place. On some days. Hope this made sense, and once again, this is just my viewpoint on things. -

Yeah, I'd be fine with that. Meeting up with another Mando sounds like a good idea, but I think we first need to have people land on a planet, so the meetup can be there, instead of in the middle of space, as well as needing an actual reason to be together. Maybe the other Mando needs help with a bounty, and hires my guy? It's slightly general OOC of Mandos, but if they were having a lot of trouble, then it could work.

I... Did not know this was a thing. But. I. Am. So. In. Race: Mandalorian/Chiss Height: 4' 8" (Short) Name: Tohr Skirata (Adopted Name. Doesn't know old one.) Equipment: Uses a blaster at his hip and a large vibroblade across his back in a special sheath. No Mandalorian armor. Also has a modified headhunter to travel in. Force: He has high force sensitivity, but hasn't quite picked up on how to use it properly. For now it just acts as enhanced battle instincts and danger detector. He's also had a few force visions while asleep, but brushed them off as a coincidence. Personality: Very much a mandalorian, but also a joker, but when he switches into "battle mode," he's all serious. Background: He knows he's Chiss, but doesn't know what happened so he was cast out, and has no idea who his family was. He seems himself as more of a mandalorian than a Chiss, and doesn't really care about his past, choosing to put it behind him instead. For now, he travels the galaxy, looking for jobs that take muscle, but won't take any unethical ones. He hopes to find purpose, and possibly someone to settle down with eventually.

So I've had the next Falchion post ready for a while, but I wasn't sure about posting it a week after the first one, so I held off on mentioning it. It involves my characters entrance into the city, (as well as references and assorted fireworks,) so I was just wondering if that was going to ruin anything anyone else had planned. Going with the plan me and PK made, CF will have already been in the city for a year, and my guy got *quote*distracted.*close quote* For a year. ADD to the max. So just checking in to find out if anyone has something planned that my char would interrupt before I post it.
