short answer on this one is no. storing identity removes your own identity, but someone else's metalmind is still keyed to their identity. your own metalminds you create while storing identity would not be keyed to you, and anyone else can access those though. to access someone else''s metalmind, you would have to sort of overwrite your spiritual identity with theirs

Well I don't know what any of those three terms means so that should tell you something. not that i'm above exploiting glitches if its fun (I'm looking at you Link's Awakening Screen jumping glitch), but I don't tend to go looking for them, and in general my preference, especially for initial playthrough is always going to be glitchless

felt like some classic gaming so I popped FFXII (does that count as classic? it's 15 years old now...) into my PS2 and the whole thing immediately crashed and wouldn't turn back on. so instead I started playing Majora's Mask again on the Wii U virtual console. I had gotten to the end of it, but not beaten it last time I played, so I started up the same save file and worked on getting the last masks and beating the game. finally was able to today, though definitely not 100%. -

the spikes would interfere with the awakening process, since investiture interferes with other investiture, but probably not enough to stop it completely.
-
yea, I figured you were going for somethign like that - basically pulling the investiture from the unsealed metalmind and putting it into one that is keyed to yourself. clarification question: do you mean unkeyed or unsealed? an unkeyed metalmind is one with no Identity associated with it, but the user still needs to already have the associated ferruchemical ability to access it. an unsealed metalmind is one tat can be used by someone even without the appropriate ferruchemy - that is it grants the ability to draw on it. All the ones we ave seen so far have also been unkeyed, but i'm not sure if that's actually a requirement or not. at any rate. for an unkeyed metalmnd, what you have in mind would definitely work. for an unsealed one, it may be trickier, because once you dump the power you may not be able to draw it back in unless you already were able to use that type of ferruchemy.

Yes. i'm not 100% clear on the precis specifics of what you are asking, but by default if you store to a metalmind, unless you are messing about with Identity, the resulting metalmind will be keyed to you and only you would be able to use it. that should hold true even if the attribute you re storing isn't one that you innately have the ability to use with ferruchemy

agree that Pact of the Blade Warlock is almost a perfect fit or most of the Knights Radiant, though potentially with different patrons for the different orders. basically taking the 2nd Oath, and getting a Blade would be roughly equivalent to hitting level 3 and taking that pact. and the 3rd Oath must be at least level 5, where you get 3rd level spells and an additional invocation. the Artificer Armorer Specialty might fit too for anyone with enough oaths to get Plate and the Eldritch Knight Fighter specialty seems fitting too. so a KR with a Blade must have a minimum of 3 levels of Warlock, and most probably have a level or two from their prior occupations. Dalinar is probably at least a 9th level Battle Master Fighter in addition to Warlock levels most Shardbearers are probably Fighters with either the Battle Master or Banneret specialties- 10 replies

I would guess Fused are more heavily invested than a normal Singer, so possibly that would at least slow down their aging some. though probably not on the level of the Returned, so unlikely to stop it altogether. but that is all guesswork

point of clarification: one hour at 1/2 strength would let you do 1 hour at 1.5 strength later, not 2x strength. the half hour would be at 2x strength and you'd only be able to do 4x strength for 15 minutes. in fact, less, for precisely the reason you said.

there are definitely some parts of Fusion that gt the heart racing, fleeing from the SA-X was always terrifying. -
I had to look it up. She is Taringail Damodred's half sister. so Rand is her Half Brother's ex-wife's son.
-
yea, its tantamount to Compulsion, which is also forbidden.
-
you CAN do it, you just aren't supposed to. it used to be more common before they decided it was unethical and banned it.

i've tried the original NES Metroid and I can't handle it. Metroid 2 is better but yea, its still tough to get into when there are remakes available -
that would be really interesting actually, though i'd guess brass or zinc, not tin. would basically give someone the ability to soothe/riot themself. and I imagine if you were being actively rioted you could store the excess emotion, as it were. I dunno if Brandon has decided yet what all those alloys would do, but that would be a good choice for one of them if he hasn't

I can vouch for Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid, both are fantastic. Metroid 2 is good too, but i often find it harder to go backwards after playing a newer game in a series - you miss a lot of little things, like color, or controls that let you fire diagonally. -
oh, is that the spymaster guy? hes an idiot. but Eamon Valda and the younger Bornhold are both nearly as bad. and even Niall, a generally intelligent man, seems to believe some fairy contradictory things about Tar Valon. but yes, most of them really just don't examine their beliefs long enough to notice that they don't actually make sense.
-
the whitecloaks are pretty much all that guy

I have a problem with some of these generalizations, but this one I can get behind. Anime doesn't bother me, but i've skipped entire shows or comics because I don't like the art style or animation, and most anime do tend to have very similar art styles.

hmm, maybe i'm wrong about having all the information. I just reread the segment where they are introduced, and there is a bit less there than I had thought. enough to identify Osan'gar, but less for Aran'gar. sooner or later you'll have all the information you need, but I guess it might be a little while yet.
-
I don't recall how much more attention is going to get brought to it, honestly. knowing that Osan'gar made the trollocs is enough to 100% positively identify him - creating shadowspawn is the defining trait of one of the forsaken; there is only 1 person that can be. Aran'gar is a little bit harder, but I think the information is already there for that too. I can give you their identities if you want, I'm reasonably certain there are no spoilers attached to them
-
I know there are enough details given throughout the series to determine which ones they are, but I couldn't say for sure if you have that information yet. For Morgase's POVs, there is Morgase, Lini, Gill, Gill's bouncer Lamgwin (i may have that name slightly off, but pretty sure its close) and his girlfriend/whatever she is, and Tallanvor, the guard from the Castle who escorted Rand n/or Mat to see the queen when they dropped onto the grounds.

if you're worried about it, cook some armor food and some bonus heart food, since you can have both of those bonuses at the same time, that way you go in with extra health and you take less damage. and start on a red lynel. but once you fight a couple you get use to their patterns and you can beat them regularly.
-
you fought a Lynel yet?
