Larry Correia's Grimnoir Chronicles series: imagine Ruins and Preservation exist in our world, with the Chairman (A Japanese dudes) became the first one to use and then Imperial Japan got its own Lord Ruler and America got Vin. (Oh and Kelsier is a detective). Seriously, everything in here reads like the original Mistborn, they even mentions the three worlds: physical, cognitive and spiritual.

Libriomancer by Jim.C.Hines, the amount of shout-out and snark in this series is unbelievable.

About the Wode, Sophie said they just eat bland soup and sit before a computer but since she was Melhi's creation, did Melhi actually met the Wode or is Melhi an anomaly (everything about her just scream Agent Smith to me and when Kai use mental boost I immediately remember bullet time from Matrix), this is like The Machine from Matrix hired Mr.Sanderson to write a novella.

Army men series, there is something special watching stuff blows up in plastic and my favorite scene is a magnifying glass melt the plastic men.

Currently reading Daniel Faust series by Craig Schaefer, anybody like The Dresden Files will surely enjoy this series, the series itself even mention TDF.
