Well we can't say for sure if some of the shards are dragons I guess? Dragons existed on Yolen I believe. But humans are definitely the most notable race on Yolen that I know of. Case in point, Hoid.

Don't be silly, she's been *holds up hands* this much for years now. She's not getting older

Which brings us back to the start of this conversation And burning mist as a feruchemical charge is probably a bit more complicated than just wanting to do it. After all I believe burning a spike also has completely different effects . . .

You'll die from burning up in the atmosphere if you go too fast, IIRC. The token feruchemical required secondary ability for steel only keeps your body in one piece. If you keep it under control though it's the most fun, definitely.

Where's patrick with the thread necromancer image? Though I guess this time there was a bit of contribution going on. I like Kal honestly. He's quite the inspiring leader, though not without issues.

I don't even remember where Kaladin left the thing, honestly.

Honestly the suicide bit is moot because even in the old one he avoided parrying the blow on purpose.

Stormlight is similar to Mist, which is why I brought up Vin instead of Spook for overdose cases. Because we know what happened there.

Not really, we don't that I know of. And this is a hot topic so it's hard to miss.

If Nightblood can at least understand the "destroy" part of DESTROY EVIL I'd like to think he knows how dying works and figure out the inherent problem there. I can't imagine anyone able to honestly have a good mental image of killing people to stop things from dying either.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

When you get dragged into a hiking excursion against your will and are surprisingly not as upset as usual because you've met the stick's relatives. -
Zahel and Nightblood have been on Roshar for years, so that's physically impossible. He could've taken that breath at any point in the last few thousand/tens of thousands of years.

One does not simply pay for someone to drag around a suit of armor heavy enough to crush a man. And it's still useless in emergencies.

This is a much better church than the Church of the Rope at least. Poor rope.

The Tale of Darkbinder, the Living Rope

Colors! I didn't think anyone would actually not see the pun. Puns work best when you read it to yourself either mentally or out loud.- 13 replies

Well, since she can hop around with pushes and hoover it can probably output at least equal to if not greater than Scadrial gravity. Though the lashed object will resist the push due to the stormlight, and multiple lashings will be an issue. I just realized that the planet they are fighting on can potentially throw off their movements due to relative gravity differences.

That tiny thing? No way that's an Aimian! . . .is what they all want you to think I'm not too keen on it yet myself but I couldn't resist.

Hence I said they could do the same things for much shorter periods if they store nonstop for decades.

No, the problem I was replying to is metallic poisoning, which can be avoided if you burn fast enough for the most part. Most allomancers seem fine for years even when downing vials regularly so it's probably fast enough on a normal burn for flakes. Whole chunks for compounding might need some nicrobursting to be safe. Where you'll even get that much chromium is a complete different problem that can't be solved.

Technically a feruchemist can definitely output that much. They just lack the ability to feasibly store large enough quantities of a trait to sustain such a massive tap for extended periods.Tapping rate is rather unrestrictive compared to allomantic flaring. Compounding only serves to provide an easy source of storable trait to realistically utilize broken degrees of tapping continuously. If Wax could compound iron he could probably smash that building into the ground and then stay at that weight for the rest of the day. But any iron ferring can just produce that much weight if they store for a few decades.

I thought it was the gemstones in the plate that caused interference? You can literally power the whole plate with just the stormlight you inhale and all. But people wouldn't know that.

What we should be testing is one person with a nahel bond and 4 honorblades to give 10 surges (or somehow 5 nahel bonds?) vs a fullborn. In a highstorm while surrounded by Mist that we assume can be burned by this person. At the pinnacle of their respective arts, who is more broken?
