  1. Or he becomes so obsessed with equality that he creates the FMA universe?
  2. Well, shards basically do that to people anyway with the personality takeover. Not farfetched. Poor Ati.

It actually feels really weird contemplating bendalloy. How many other metalminds store something that doesn't have a universal "baseline" value? Speed, age, weight, etc. restore to default after the store/tap ends and can never reach 0, but bendalloyminds can presumably store literal nutrition away from your system until tapped. It's weird.
  4. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/8819-awakening-a-corpse-that-has-been-soulcast-confirmed-by-wob/ Scroll down a bit. Apparently you can make a Lifeless from a corpse no matter what it is now made of, so it checks whether it "was alive" cognitively or spiritually rather than any form of material in particular. Only requirement for lifeless that I recall is a corpse. Now I want to see a soulcast Returned.
  5. They're eventually supposed to invent faster-than-light space travel with the metallic arts anyway. They'd get there eventually. Of course Hoid can just hop in, but he's Hoid.
  6. Yeah. Chromium and nicrosil would be hard to make in that era of tech, so never mind using them even testing for them is difficult. They already manufacture aluminum to help keep mistborn under control after capture so him sharing knowledge of its alloy made sense. Bendalloy and cadmium mistings didn't exist so acknowledging them in his cave plaques is pointless. That's more or less everything other than the 8 "base" metals and the Empire-era temporal and enhancement groups.
  7. Which shouldn't exist. Nothing on Scadrial should have the same soul-snapping properties of a lump of pure Preservation, because even that is just a side effect of what it actually does and is in part due to the intent of the power. Atium doesn't do that on continuous burn, so even something like Adonalsium-metal should do something completely different. It pretty much has to be made of Preservation to cause the Mistborn aftereffects, which by definition would mean it is lerasium. 0% probability multiplied by infinite luck is still 0.
  8. Which metal/metallic ability relating to feruchemy are you referring to here? I don't have my book with me. And let's be honest here, we've never seen TLR actually abuse his knowledge to its fullest extent. He lost entirely because he held back.
  9. Also, Destroyer sounds like something Ruin would come up with...
  10. He's trying to suppress feruchemist blood. Of course he won't tell them any of the things he knows.
  11. As has every other bridge 4 character. Squires, presumably.
  12. There's no such thing as too much backup stormlight, Dunkum.
  13. Depends on how you say Ati's name I guess. Because the -ium is the same for a ton of elements.
  14. Well, it's a really fast burn, not instant burn, so if he stores fast enough he might be fine. Otherwise embryo time.
  15. They weren't sentencing him right then or anything were they? They were going to sort it out after they return. He won't have a blade to his neck this time around.
  16. Spren don't even have souls, do they?
  17. Causing or inducing awe?
  18. Mobile editor sucks then
  19. He could still say "storm it" and fight his way out and now we have bystanders dead as well as Amaram in the best case scenario. Worst case scenario we're down a few shardbearers and Amaram is free regardless. You either murder him or you pretend nothing happened.
  20. Like the voice of God telling Abraham to stop seconds before the knife came down on Isaac eh? I could actually see that as what's going through his mind.
  21. Well, they know their weakness is that thing they've always been afraid of, but it's not like they usually know or care about other Epic's pasts. When told that it is literally a direct connection, someone suitably insane like Oblit might start thinking "what if my fear doesn't exist anymore?" and test it.
  22. As pointed out by Dalinar, the only two feasible sentences for a Shardbearer in the case of a great crime are execution and. . . nothing. If he ever becomes a surgebinder Nale would love this dirt we have.
  23. As the other guy says, he actually uses the rope on a regular basis, and it took Damnation near 9th heightening and a thousand breaths to just awaken a sword to try and "destroy evil" yet still fail miserably. Nalthian metal is useless to Vasher Soulcast metal on the other hand. That apparently works depending on what it was made from. But no soulcasters on Nalthis.
