You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
natc replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you are embarrassed at how long it took you to relocate the Aon Aon pattern in this picture of Aon Tia after not seeing it in a while. -
Emperor's Soul involves a good amount of feels, juicy realmatic stuff, and lifehacking your creaky detainment room into a luxury suite even more fancy than the emperor's room itself with a bunch of stamps. You should read it.

It would mostly concern Dragonsteel if it should ever be made (or if it actually exists), and I don't think people are allowed to talk about Dragonsteel. Not much has happened yet anyway from what I can tell.

And physical speed to draw faster?

If Vin's mist-ascension says anything the investiture should practically be flowing through his veins, and hell he lost his body in seconds. So he doesn't really have hands.
-
There's honestly a soft limit to how much they can compound their speed to anyway, because while feruchemy prevents the power from tearing you apart it shouldn't stop the air resistance from killing you past a certain point. So you can't be stupidly fast, only really fast. Only use for steel compounding without accompanying gold compounding (and maybe storing heat nonstop too) is to be really fast forever due to free speed. And beware of crashing into walls.

He's Highprince Dalinar Kholin. He doesn't fight but he's still in charge of the Kholin army. He technically still owns it and all.

Most of the heat from the egg might flow into the air instead because heat normally flows to where there is less of it.

There is beauty and meaning in suffering and death. Life itself is only precious due to it's fragility. See people? Ruin is 100% not evil. Have a cookie.

Or the fact that "like" is a countable noun these days.

Instead of the magic being the basis of the ruling theocracy as in Mistborn, in this world it is more of a lost art slowly resurfacing in the various characters as the end of everything draws closer. An art once wielded by a group everybody believes to be traitors of mankind. We still haven't seen it's full potential, but what we have seen is good.
-
I forgot about that group. So Abrahamic religion people in general then. That bit of creation story is more or less consistent.

This is what you keep a euphanization vent for your copperminds for folks. -
Even assuming you are Christian (which I am) it's really just a reference to the general sentence structure of a particular section in relation to someone trying to write a book.

It's expensive because it's storming difficult to process from its natural form without advances in electrolysis, which the AoL era hasn't figured out (they're reaching the industrial era and cars are still new). It's not rare or anything, Scadrial even has higher metal ore content than Earth IIRC. By the time they understand nuclear theory it should be cheap as hell.

It doesn't matter if the bullets are meant to hit the bubble, if the bubble never drops they will have to. Hence why I'm trying to figure out if entering the bubble jostles the same way as exiting.
-
I believe 1024 was the refill cycle of the Well of Ascension.
-
I don't even remember. I forget, is it possible to not be in your own bubble?
-
Well if she gets fifth heightening she stops aging. But it'll be pretty ironic for an Idrian to be at fifth heightening.
-
If the bubble deflects in a predictable manner there would potentially be a gap in the bullet wall.
-
It depends on whether the bubble deflects bullets in a regular and predictable pattern or if it is random.
