    Granted. However, the day before you start, you fall to an accident that makes you go blind. I want to have the memories of reading Brandons books removed, so I can reread them and feel the majesty all over again.

    Golems. They are awesome. But, what I was thinking about is this. Okay. Golems are created by their master. They must obey their masters commands to do anything they are told to do. But what level of sentience do they have? Do they have sentience? Where does the spirit come from? The material? Is there a great big hive mind controlling every single golem that exists and has ever existed? Do golems have personal agendas? Do they have opinions on the tasks they're set? And so on. Not so much worldbuilding as just my daily tangent of a tangent of a tangent.

    I'm back! Sorry I didn't realize it was back on. I've been going through a busy period. I'll probably skim post for the next few weeks until I can come back in full force. Also, I've placed Lorn into the thick of things so he can be recruited with the rest. Also, are Turos, Hugh, and Rend NPC's now? Or are they being killed off? Or are other people inheriting them? EDIT: Re-reading all the old posts because I've half forgotten them... Hasn't Charden already recruited most people at the second half of page 2/ page 3? (Mainly because I don't know how to RP.)

    I'm just curious how many people on the forums compose. I know of about 3, but most of them I've seen on SoundCloud and not here. P.S. I may have a piece based on a 'mists leitmotif' to show you once I've had time to clean it up in a few weeks. I'll see when I have time. Still trying to work out instrumentation though...

(No offence intended.) 2) Technically, this should probably go in the Mistborn threads, even if this is just your first post. 3) I believe we have a WoB where Brandon says that Harmony has the powers of both Ruin and Preservation. He probably could control Sazed, if he wished. P.S. WoB = Word of Brandon. It's a term to say that Brandon has confirmed or said something that is canon. Welcome to the forums!

    The main problem that I've had with Windows 10 is battery life on my laptop. It's gone from being 5-6 hours to 3.5-4 hours. I've fiddled around with Battery Settings, but it's still lower that it once was. And when I'm trying to save battery power, the screen brightness is dreadful. To be fair though, I do think the design is much improved.

    There are a few really obscure ones that I couldn't be bothered putting up. There's called Heuristic Algorithm and Reasoning Response Engine or something like that, and another one called Dreamer published as part of an anthology. I just wanted there to be an option there for anyone who actually read those.

    I don't remember any magic being in that series at all... I read them a while ago, though, so I may be wrong. Anyway... Blue light and gravity manipulation... Yeah... on this forum, it could really only be one thing.

This isn't a poll for how many people have read a series, it's about what your favourite is. And you can't say "I prefer the Stormlight Archive", unless you've actually read Mistborn. 3) I've split up Mistborn Alloy Era and Mistborn Original Trilogy, because I've found them to be quite different. 4) I'm not placing WoT on this poll, because I still consider it, fundamentally, to be a Robert Jordan series. 5) I trust you guys more than this point might imply. But please, no offending anyone else or getting overheated in this. Otherwise the poll would have to be locked, and that's no fun. P.S. Ye Olde Mistborn Series will triumph, all ye non-believers!

    The humour and ingenuity will get you. If you really don't like it, don't read the whole thing, but at least get the prologue and first two chapters from Tor's free extracts and read them. I guarantee you won't regret it. If your heart is set in stone that you don't want to read it, though, I'm not exactly sure what you'll miss. After all, only one of the 4 Wax and Wayne books has come out so far. But you do miss a few cameos and interesting easter eggs in Alloy, and quite likely more in the future.

    Quick question on the 4 point circle. This is probably me being a scatterbrain, but it seems to me like there should be a 5th point, right in the centre of the 4 point circle, if your theory is correct. Basically, you have: 3 midpoints 3 altitude points 3 altitude midpoints. For the 4 point triangle, you have only place two altitude midpoints. The third one would go right in the middle of the circle, between the corner and the midpoint.
