  1. YES!!! THANK YOU! #Australianproblems
  2. OH MY GOD! THE LIBRARIAN PUGS ARE HERE! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
  3. I agree. And... I'm interrupting you from looking up 'fancy pug' now, aren't I?
  4. Huh. I just did that. And I have to say, the uncropped image is just as, if not more, amusing to me.
  5. @MrMistborn I always wondered where you got that cat picture, by the way. Do you remember?
  6. Someone called a cheese called 'Ambrosia'. How did I not know this before? Some nectar of the gods, coming right up.
  7. Eh, I suppose this is worth a shot. Mek, were the roles and alignments decided through a Random Number Generator, or did you choose them?
  8. That's fine. Don't worry about it. And it really is a mild suspicion (I'd say around a 45-47 out of 100, 0 being a confirmed eliminator, 100 being confirmed villager). With those numbers, I'll be more concerned about the faction game at this point.
  9. I really haven’t posted as much as I’d like, so I’ll post what will hopefully be a much more detailed post now. So, the Spiked should have a member in every house by now, unless they decided to double up in a single house for whatever reason. That means that they are the only ones who will know everything that's going on, including things like ambushes, incoming koloss attacks, and so on. If anyone has suddenly developed a crazy intuition for anything, then they are probably Spiked. If anyone seemed to guess something on little or no evidence (especially if they're not known for doing it), then they're probably Spiked. Lekal, if any of you guessed that someone might attack you, then they might be Spiked (they had as much of a chance of getting killed as you did) None of you want to sell out your members to the thread, in case you get it wrong. I understand that. But, keep your eye out, and analyse them in your respective docs. And then, try and work out when they might have been Spiked. If they were like that the whole time, they might be the Inquisitor, in which case, you should report them to the thread, as he probably has a Spike or two left, and we don't want them to use it. I feel like I should give out a name at this point. The truth is, I genuinely don't have any strong distrusts. Joe's been posting very little, but he's an excellent SE player, and the truth is that if he were Spiked or the Inquisitor I probably wouldn't be able to notice it. Bugsy, apart from those codes, right at the beginning, and quickly to vote, and a meta post about Aman's bid to save himself hasn't really said much. For some reason, I'm getting a strange vibe off him, but it's a very mild gut read, and I can't really place it. It's like he's trying to appear active without saying anything. But it's not enough to go on. (I had the same feeling Day 1, if you're interested. So it's got nothing to do with the Aman fiasco.) At this point, if I had to, I might go for Bugsy, but I'm far from certain. Plus, there's the faction game to consider, and Cett is leading strongly in that, so I'd probably go for Straw or Burnt. Maybe Maill, too, seeing as Lekal has also only lost a player.
  10. Thanks. I'll probably go find the link just so everybody else knows what I was talking about anyway.
  11. That you find me suspicious for voting and immediately revoking in LG22? (Background for those who didn't play LG22 here) Elb defends me at various points, but I'm trying to find a post that summarizes it. Uhhh... I'm searching through the thread now. I'll add the link in the moment I find it (LG22 was so busy...) Hopefully I'll have it before you go to bed. That you found Eramit suspicious? Here.
  12. Actually, El, since I want to catch you before you go to sleep, you were one of the people I wanted to ask something. You said you found Eramit suspicious because of the rapid change in his vote on me, and then reversing it. The think is, I did almost the exact same thing in LG22, and nearly got lynched for it at one point in the day, except for the fact that you were one of my strongest defenders. What makes this situation different to the situation in LG22?
  13. For curiosity's sake, what was your intent in asking this? Usually I ask a question if the answer has an impact on a genuine strategy but, I can't really see the benefit on repealing and electing a Senator simultaneously. OK, I'll just address this very quickly before I go, as it's the only thing (that I saw) that was directly addressed to me. General thoughts and anything I missed will be addressed when I return. There was actually a very good reason for me asking this. Senators are immune to kills on the night they are elected, so I was trying to work out whether it would be possible to give a confirmed villager the power of continued immunity (because, as El said, being a confirmed villager paints a target on their heads. The only way for them not to be killed and to have them as a Senator is to repeal and re-vote them in on the same night.)
  14. Alright, Orlok. (Mek's going to have a hell of a time trying to work out who I'm voting for... I've voted for 4 people now? About to become 5...) I think I'll vote for @Conquestor now, to see if he's got anything to say.
  15. 1. OK. I guess I can understand that. I said that chiefly out of paranoia. He tried a similar trick in LG23, claiming that there were three teams of 6 and one team of 7, and therefore the team of 7 would likely have the Converter in it. It was Alv who pointed out that there were three teams of 7 and one of 6, and Maill was likely trying to increase paranoia in the factions of 7, or else make them think that his faction was the faction of 6. If it were a newer player, I'd probably assume it were an innocent mistake, but I'm cautious with Maill. 2. Seeing as it takes 5 votes to repeal a Senator, that would involve a unanimous vote, including the Senator being voted out, to repeal someone. So, I'd say it's meant to be open to the public to do that.
  16. Works fine for me on Chrome on Windows 10. I have Version 51.0.2704.103 m... That narrows it down a fair bit, I'd think. By the way, I've moved again according to your text. (I was in Campbelltown area, then up in North Sydney area, and now I'm in Concord. Which is closer, but still not where I actually live.
  17. All right, that's fine. I've remove your vote. (This is the problem with being an Australian. Apparently the Americans don't want to stay up at 3am just to satisfy my curiosity... how dare they... ) @Sart, you've been online since the game began, but you haven't posted. Too busy chatting in your doc?
  18. I've got a button in the bottom corner of my taskbar that allowed me to swap between the English and German keyboard. I think I had to go into Control Panel ---> Languages or something like that to set it up?
  19. Alright, Aman. You're off the hook for now. What are you up to, @OrlokTsubodai? Thanks. I have to admit, I found this wagon slightly bizarre. OK... Wait till Meta or Kipper (but especially Meta) gets on this game. I'll be interested to see what you think of my playstyle then. EDIT: By the way, @Seonid, there's a triple poke-vote on you right now, courtesy of the Senate. Thought you should know.
  20. ...OK. I can't say I was expecting that. And, I can't say I was being particularly aggressive. I was putting forward a poke-vote, a perfectly regular thing to do - in order to encourage activity. I've done it already in LG22 and QF16, if you're looking for precedent. Now that Elodin and Cloud have responded, I'll rescind my votes. So, in this case, I'll poke-vote @Amanuensis. Got anything you feel like saying? I have to admit, this feels a lot like a lynch train right now. Particularly since a poke-vote is just meant to be an incentive to post more, which doesn't really fit in this scenario since I've already posted. I'm trying to work out the cause. Maybe they thought I was picking on Cloud/Elodin as some sort of personal vendetta? If that's the case, I apologise for any misunderstanding. Well, the lynch was already well and truly off you by the time you posted, and well onto me. And I wasn't trying to kill you, just encourage posting, like most players do at the start of just about every game, which you, at least, should know. And it's not against the rules. I've seen the mods do it before. I don't think I actually was that aggressive... If I've offended you, I apologize. What I did is normal practice in these games, as I said. You can look up countless games to prove it.
  21. Senators are elected by the people in the Night turn. I've essentially given Cloud 3 votes to mull over if he wants to lurk. Can you please stop playing mind games... (For you, though, I suspect that's a bit like asking you not to breathe ) EDIT: Mek, can you get repeal and elect the same senator on the same night?
  22. Yes, but I believe they do that via whichever player has the most votes. Currently, that's Cloud. If someone else were to vote in the Doc, then they'd cancel each other out.
  23. Alright. I've given @cloudjumper quite a hefty incentive to post (Cloud, if you're confused, check the Senate doc), but I think I'll give a poke vote in thread to @Master Elodin.
  24. I suppose that depends on what everyone else's opinions are. Personally, I'm thinking no, but you can still feel free to publish a review of the comic book(s) of your choice separately.
  25. I think it might be supposed to start 11 hours from now, in that case? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
