    I'm not sure whether or not that is true, but if it is then it is likely related to the fact that Threnody doesn't have a shard. If he has then it isn't on the Theoryland database. Also, to answer the question proposed in the title of this thread, Nightblood would (probably) consume the spiritual identity of that person.

    Ruin never got his "body" back as it was destroyed before he could reclaim it. And yes, I agree that imprisoning Ruin probably led to Leras' death, though it did not affect Vin in the same way.

    I also feel like lack of compassion/empathy is not his curse from the Nightwatcher, but for different reasons. In the real world, people at the top end of the intelligence range tend to be socially impaired and not be able to interact with others well. This may just be an extreme case of that.

    My personal favorite was the 2nd to last one as I found it hilarious because the Atlantis Complex Spoilers I was kind of mad that Artemis and Holly didn't get together in the end (as I've shipped them since I first read book 2). I would have been happy with any kind of relationship resolution (even if they went their separate ways). Though I kinda feel like that was Eion leaving himself an opening to another book when we thought the story was finished (again). The Last Guardian Spoiler

    When you abbreviate the name of a movie you are watching in class with SA, then look at your paper a few minutes later and wonder why you put the abbreviation for Stormlight Archive on your paper.

    This seems to sort of confirm the theory that if you are the person that a spike is made from you have problems with the aferlife as it says that it "consumes the soul" of the sacrifice.

    everything but Jak and the unpublished works though i plan on reading the stories that are from Jak soon, if only to read his terrisman's annotations. My most recent was Sixth of the Dusk. Haven't gotten to the Allomancer Jak stories because I haven't gotten around to buying the Mistborn Adventure Game yet. I haven't read White Sand or Aether because I haven't got the courage to mail Mr. Sanderson so I could get them.

    Mine is none of the above! My brother told me about the cosmere when he was introducing me to Mistborn which led to my love of Brandon's work, so I knew from the start (of my experience). I was led to the forum from coppermind, though I had been browsing coppermind for almost a year before I found my here.

    I'm pretty sure some other Rosharian cultures worship Cultivation. I guessed this because they use "she" and "mother" with divine connotations.
