You kind of stole mine...(see the long since forgotten guild "hazekiller corp")...but I guess great minds think alike. Anyway...how about...a Tineye who is a high stakes card player. He uses his hightened senses to notice subtle changes in his opponents' dialation, heartrate, breathing, etc...in order to detect impossibly subtle tells...he acts as a kind of robin hood charcter that targets morally corrupt upperclass members and redistributes his ill gotten winnings to the poor. He follows in the footsteps of Spook and has learned to use his hightened senses to get kind of a blind samauri thing going on...and as a result is a master of unarmed combat. Meanwhile, he lives an extremely austere lifestyle, and leads a second life as a priest in charge of an orphanage.

Fortunatley roshar seems to be mostly lacking in flying arthropods. There is apprently a japanese wasp about 3 inches long that sprays corrosive acid...that then acts as a pheremone trigger for other wasps to come spray you! *holds fist up to a skyeel* BRING IT!!!

Well...the endoskeleton is the one part of an organism that a kandra DOESN'T eat...or reporduce...but I know what you're going for. Thus far...I don't think we've been given anything specific to suggest that a kandra couldn't eat and reproduce a chasmfiend's guts, then crawl inside like some kind of weird hermit crab. The only thing that gives me pause...is in BoM, we learn that if a kandra trys to take a form that is too SMALL, it has some issues with having enough mass to still be intelligent.

Yeah...I thought about this before posting...Kanda, Koloss, and Inquisitiors are all referred to as being hemalurgic constructs...and people tend to agree on that...but...they really don't have anything in common aside from the spikes...and being suceptable to shardic influence. - Kandra, only 2 spikes, no real physical change from a mistwraith, become sapient, get a "blessing" - Koloss, 4 spikes, man shaped...but not really, severly diminished intelligence and altered emotions - Inquisitors, several spikes, look human...but...with spikes...and rearranged organs, basically human in thought, now have powers So...I don't know...maybe I'm wrong for referring to anyone/anything with a spike as a construct...I just didn't remeber ever seeing, hearing, reading, anything to indicate otherwise. ...and as natc points out...even savants are no longer "human"...technically... SoS spoiler... Mistborn spoler... ...now...please don't misread my typed words (which convey no tone) I'm not being argumentative...just putting it all out there. What EXACTLY is or isn't a hemalurgic construct...

Well...I would say that someone who spikes other people (practicing the art of hemalurgy) is a hemalurgist (as stated by happyman) vs. someone / something that has spikes put into them ("uses" hemalurgy), is a hemalurgic construct...

EDIT: I really liked the part of the discussion where one of you suggests that cremlings may actually spawn from crem like brine shrimp in isolated puddles. Sunbird gave some sound pointer...otherwise I'd just say...don't be afraid to share flimsy, hunch based ideas, sometimes they turn into really great discussions...just don't get upset when people disagree. It took me until the well of ascension scene to figure out that it was somehow something bad. After that, as we learned more about hemalurgy, I eventually figured it out. There were many, many, other things that I missed though... One thing that I'm particularly proud of from reading SoS, was figuring out who Bleeder was way early in the story...
