  1. Granted. You don't notice them, but everyone else does. I wish I was really good at snowboarding.
  2. Granted. Your hair is now purple. (Not a good kind of purple, but a gross kind of purple.) I wish I could read Shadows of Self right now.
  3. When you go to the bookstore to buy a Christmas present for your sister and leave with a book for yourself as well, and they were both Brandon Sanderson books.
  4. Happy Birthday Brandon! Thank you for all of your amazing books! (And for accidentally writing another...) Seriously though, how does he do that? May you have a good Koloss Head Munching Day as well.
  5. Granted, but your hair is forever in tangles and knots that won't come out. (Story of my childhood...) I wish Dragonsteel wasn't the last book/series Brandon is planning on writing.
  6. No worries, I totally understand. I just have a really meta way of looking at books and the world in general. I get that it's weird. I guess I think of it more as "this would be cool if" rather than an actually theory, so that's my bad.
  7. My all time favorite would have to be Mistborn: the Final Empire. The others, of course, were amazing as well as all of his other books, but something about Mistborn just gets me so excited to read it every singe time. I truly care for all of the characters and find each one of their journeys really inspiring. The ending, of course, broke my heart, but I've honestly never felt so much emotion over a book before, and that's really the best part, whether or not that emotion is happy or sad.
  8. Granted. You now suffer from debilitating headaches. I wish I knew the intents of all 16 shards of Adonalsium.
  9. Of course. I didn't mean to bash your opinion, I was just presenting my own. I wonder what Odium and Harmony would be. I want to say hating everything equally, but that doesn't sound right.
  10. I don't really know, but I feel like there'd be more in a broam's worth of chips. I'll try to explain. So we know that cut gems hold more stormlight for longer than uncut gems. From the two seconds of research I did, I think one factor might be surface area. I'm assuming cut gems would have more surface area than uncut ones, and if that's completely wrong, ignore the rest of this post. Anyway, I think it's also safe to assume that a broam's worth of chips have more surface area than the broam itself, and if we say the amount of stormlight a gem can hold is directly related to the surface area of the gem, then we could conclude that a broam's worth of chips would hold more stormlight than a broam due to the difference in surface area, or at least hold the same amount of stormlight longer. (I did next to zero research on this, so please tell me if I totally messed something up)
  11. My personal theory on the God Beyond is that it really is Brandon. I bet there's just going to be a few vague references here and there, but it won't really end up being anything plot related. It think the idea is that Shards, by some definitions, aren't technically gods. They didn't really create humans or the Cosmere, and I (personally) don't think Adonalsium did either. Since Brandon "created" the Cosmere, I think that would make him the God Beyond within the Cosmere. Just my thoughts, no facts whatsoever, so don't use any of this in some sort of argument. It's just my personal theory. Edit: Okay, technically, Ruin and Preservation did create humans on Scadrial, but my point about the creation of the Cosmere itself still stands.
  12. But part of Darwinism is the weak die, right? (I honestly don't remember it's been so long. Don't be afraid to say I'm wrong) So maybe Harmony and Cultivation would be better for a Darwinism shard.
  13. He said he's working on it, but it's apparently not done yet. We'll just have to keep waiting. And waiting...
  14. I imagine if you combined Honor and Odium you might get something along the lines of Revenge. And I imagine you could alter Preservation in a way that instead it becomes Survival. A dash of Ruin, perhaps, rather than mixing in the entire shard? Now it sounds like I'm coming up with shard recipes... Edit: I just realized I stole Moogle's idea when it comes to combining Honor and Odium. It wasn't on purpose I promise.
  15. Granted. Every time you sneeze, the power goes out within a one mile radius for twenty four hours. I wish I had more free time so I could read Wheel of Time.
  16. Yes, that was me. And you guessed right (unless I told you at some point what I was reading, but I don't really remember).
  17. I asked if Kelsier chose not to move on after he died or if he did want to move on but couldn't for some reason. I kind of expected the RAFO but it was worth a shot.
  18. When you wait in line for over two hours to ask your question only to get an RAFO card, but you still think it was worth it.
  19. I got my first RAFO card today! (and I'll probably get more) I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry. Probably both. By the way, I'm pretty sure Newan was right behind me the whole time. Sorry I was too shy to say anything at the time.
  20. First off, so worth it. Granted. You and Nightblood become best buddies, but then Vasher shows up and defeats you to get Nightblood back.
  21. Granted. You're a bendalloy misting, but every time you use your ability, you get extremely nauseated. I wish I was a Releaser, with access to stormlight.
  22. If I totally ignore orders and just pick two surges, I would definitely pick Gravitation and Abrasion. Flying (more like falling with style) would be awesome as well as sliding around everywhere, as if it were always hardwood floors while wearing socks. If I had to pick an order though, probably Releaser, but we're not sure what their other surge is yet. So I guess Windrunner would be my other choice if I decide I don't like the Releaser surge.
