Yeah,I definitely don't see Dalinar as likely to die, at least not before the back five, assuming he doesn't Ascend. I judge Kaladin as the main 10 character most likely to die. He's that kind of character.

It was also the reveal that they blew up Ashyn, but I definitely think there's more to the Recreance than we've been told.

As a real life asexual person, yeah the 'person who is uninterested in sex because they've been abused' trope is...overdone. Obviously there are in fact people like that in real life, but when that's the only kind of asexuality/voluntary celibacy that gets represented in fiction it's kind of grating. Some people are uninterested in sex because that's just how they are. There doesn't have to be a Tragic Backstory reason.

I was a "horse girl" as a teen, but I know they aren't everyone's jam. I do want Kaladin to get a Rhyshadium though, as the look on his face is hilarious to imagine.

The "You cannot have my pain." scene is a big one. Also, everything to do with Adolin and Maya of course. Lift, Szeth and Nightblood. I want to see more of these three because their dynamic is just hilarious. Rlain's PoV, I just really liked seeing his thoughts and hope he gets more screentime. The Duel. Kaladin's third deal and the fight between Szeth and Kaladin. The entire sequence would be amazing in a movie/TV show. Adolin stabbing Sadeas. I've rarely been so satisfied by a death scene. Kaladin taking charge of a good portion of Dalinar's army through sheer charisma in WoK. Also, pretty much everytime Hoid appears on screen, especially his interactions with Shallan in OB.

It makes sense narratively for Dalinar to fade into the background a little, as he's going to be more focused on political stuff, which while important isn't something most readers find as interesting as the more 'hands-on' things. I like Dalinar as a character a lot, but Stormlight has lots of great characters so I'm not so worried about one or two of them getting less screen time. It just leaves more room for other cool characters like Jasnah and Renarin that we haven't seen much of. Anyway, my disappointment is that the ending of OB felt a bit rushed and I feel like some plot threads could have got better resolution. (We didn't get to see Shallan's wedding to name a big one).

I like the Lift + Szeth + NB dynamic personally and would like to see more of those three together.

I want more information on Elsecallers and Truthwatchers because those are the two orders I currently feel a connection with based on what little we know about them. Also I don't feel like the Windrunner and Skybreaker oaths are that similar, and there seems to have been considerable conflict between the two orders and their very different ideas about honour.

Given how desperately he wanted Stormlight I don't think he did accept his disability. I think all his humour about it was a coping mechanism.
