    Shallan does have access to Soulcasting, so she could theoretically do what Jasnah does. When she learns how she may actually be scarier than Jasnah.

    Oatmeal raisin cookies are horrible. I hate raisins but I like chocolate chips so it's like are these delicious cookies or LIES?

    I don't think that guy was working for the Ghostbloods, he was just one of Nale's weird groupies.

    Yeah they fit in with the Rosharian ecology. Also Honor and Cultivation did not create them, they were probably created by Adonalsium.

    I couldn't get into A Game of Thrones either. Too depressing. I read fantasy to escape from depressing things.

    I don't expect them to have a kid in the one year gap, but I'd be somewhat surprised if they didn't have at least one in the 15 year gap between the two arcs.

    Shallan was planning to come clean about the Ghostbloods, iirc, we shall have to see if she goes through with it. Shallan needs to come clean about a lot of things really.

    Plus his particular struggle is with addiction which is what I think @Calderis was getting at.

    I absolutely support Rlain as Bondsmith. I want to see Adolin and Lift interact, and more Adolin and Maya stuff. I might be a bit obsessed with Adolin and Maya.

    Yeah I feel like Adolin's issues are going to come out more in the next book, especially with him finding out what happened to Evi and all. But I think he'll manage in the long run. I can see a scene happening where he hits a point of despair and Maya pushes him out of it, possibly leading to him saying the First Ideal.

    Has Kaladin even personally killed any named characters except Helaran? I mean he kind of kills Szeth, except in the revised version he only kills Szeth indirectly and Szeth got better anyway. Adolin's killed Sadeas, and arguably Eshonai, though she actually drowned. Actually it's Shallan that's killed the most named characters at two definite kills (she also killed her mom but her mom hasn't been named). That only of these three, if we count Dalinar, he wins.

    They are specifically trying to hunt down and stop spren that are trying to bond with people I think.

    Yeah I think that was what was implied. Of course Brandon being Brandon it's possible they were actually after something else instead or in addition to.

    I think that's making a lot of assumptions about her current state, and Renarin's abilities. I'd say she seems to be open to Adolin already, as she's communicating with him. Also I'm not sure if I want Dalinar to get involved, his abilities already feel kind of deus ex machina-ish.

    IIRC Cultivation said she hadn't talked to any humans in a long time. Admittedly, I suppose it's possible that she wasn't counting Vasher as human, as he's a Returned... Either way I suspect what happened with Nightblood will play at least some part in the plot eventually.

    Nightblood was definitely in the possession of the Nightwatcher. No telling how he ended up there though.

    I think Szeth did see that Nale was crazy, at least to some extent. He says as much in Edgedancer I believe.

    I wouldn't expect him to be able to summon her early all the time, not yet. She only did that when he was desperate. The other times he summoned her in that battle it was normal.

    I think it's definitely implied it was only 7 heartbeats and I don't think Brandon would imply that by accident. He's very particular about his rules.

    I absolutely believe that what is happening with them wouldn't be possible if he didn't fit in with the Ideals of the Edgedancers. The fact that part of that is caring about her specifically is just the icing on the cake.

    Vivenna, she annoyed me at first but I really liked the way her story arc developed.
