    You aren't the first person to suggest that the Perpendicularity was responsible for Maya showing signs of life, but I've never been convinced. It's a bridge, not a healing. Maya's problem is not a disconnect, but that her cognitive and spiritual aspects have had a large chunck ripped out. I don't think the Perpendicularity could fix that. I agree with Calderis that it would take forming a Nahel bond to restore her because losing her previous bond is what put her in that state to begin with. Brandon's been cagey on whether it's possible for somebody else besides their original bondmate to do it, but I think the implication is the answer is yes though it would be very difficult.

    To be fair I don't think she was really trying to pass that off as a real name, fake names are pretty much par for the course in secret societies, she was just trying to obscure her real identity.

    Honestly, I have to wonder why bond him if they were scared of Nightblood. Maybe they didn't realize how dangerous Nightblood is until afterwards and then were like "oh crud, what did I get into?" and now they are just crying in a corner.

    "They" as a singular neutral pronoun has actually been used for centuries, the use of "he" as a generic pronoun is actually newer then "they". Also there are people in real life who use "they" pronouns because they don't identify as exclusively male or female (there are other pronouns that some people use, but those are less familiar to most people).

    Szeth does have a highspren now, it seems like he or she is just not very interactive. Hopefully we will get to see Szeth interact with his spren more in the next book because those relationships are always interesting. Hoid did use aluminium to insulate the soulcaster from the voidspren. Nightblood was apparently in the Nightwatcher's possession at some point. We have no idea how that happened. Other then that there's no particular connection between them. The other questions I have no insight on.

    I can't help but imagine somebody (probably Syl) singing "Turn On the Sun" by Nana Mouskouri to Kaladin. Helps that it's one of my go-to mood booster songs.
