I agree. Regardless of where it's held, everyone who doesn't live nearby is going to have to spend a lot to get there if they want to come. To reduce that cost to the fans, it makes the most sense to hold it where there is the highest concentration of fans. That's Utah. While that's unfortunate for those outside of Utah (or the western US), it'll get a better turnout in Utah than it would elsewhere. And isn't a good turnout what we want? That said, given enough notice, I could get to anywhere in the continental US. Possibly international too, depending on where, but that would require even more notice.

"Inconceivable!" "Fezzik! Are there rocks ahead?" "Anybody want a peanut?" "Mawwage is what bwings us togedder today." "As you wish." "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." "Is it a kissing book?" "He's not all dead. He's only mostly dead." "To blave, which we all know means to bluff." "Liar!" "Get back, witch!" "I'm not a witch, I'm your wife! But after what you just said, I'm not even sure I want to be that anymore!" "Humperdink! Humperdink, Humperdink, Humperdink!" "Good luck stormin' the castle!" "To the pain." "My way is not very sportsmanlike." "You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die." "What I wouldn't give for a holocaust cloak." "You are the Brute Squad." I added a couple extra since I'm not sure what counts as "separate" or not. A few of these are from the same scene... Give me 10 separate quotes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I was meaning the latter, for international destinations. I wanted to cut out podunk airports that only fly to two or three places in the general vicinity.

Oooh, that's a good one. My first instinct is to say one is one of the 'stans, but I don't think that's right.... Liechtenstein? I think that one is, since it's stuck right between Switzerland and Austria, and it doesn't touch Germany or Italy....The other one is probably in Africa. My gut says it's either Rwanda or Burundi. I'll go Rwanda. Name the 3 capitals of South Africa EDIT: Ah! I was right! It was one of the 'stans! Uzbekistan. That's frustrating. Ah, well. Speaking of cute animals, here you go.

Oh, now you're just making things easy. Indonesia Philippines Micronesia Marshall Islands Solomon Islands Japan Cape Verde Bonus: Nauru, Palau, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Malta, New Zealand, Taiwan, Cyprus, Jamaica, Cuba, Antigua and Barbuda, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Dominica, Haiti/Dominican Republic (since they're on the same island), Bahamas, Barbados, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia, Madagascar, Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius, Comoros, Iceland, UK/Ireland Name 20 African countries

Bangkok Hong Kong Shanghai Beijing Tokyo Sendai Seoul Taipei Pyongyang Singapore It's one of your specialties, eh? Hm.... Name the 6 European city-states and their capitals (most of which will be easy, but one of which could prove difficult....) EDIT: By "city-states," I mean very small, sovereign countries, most of which is just one city. There's one that is slightly bigger than the other 5, but it still counts as a city-state (at least, it did when I learned about the city-states in 7th grade geography, which was about 15-16 years ago, so...yeah)

You beat me to that one. Let's see. Gallifrey New Earth Clom Trenzalore Midnight Akhaten Now I feel like I should go Who-related, but I'm jumping back to geography. Name 6 countries in Southeast Asia and their capitals.

Colombia Venezuela Ecuador Guyana Suriname French Guiana Brazil Peru Chile Bolivia Paraguay Uruguay Argentina Name 7 real countries that start with N.

I'll concede about koala, but I personally don't think that just because it's a marsupial means it doesn't count. The question didn't say the scientific bear family Ursidae... I'll get a picture up in the morning. I'm going to bed and can't look for one. Although I will request that if we're holding to this, we need to be consistent. There have been other errors made but no funny pictures posted--just corrections edited in after the fact. Consistency is key.

Grizzly Polar Black Brown Panda Koala Bruin Name 10 Kingkiller Chronicle characters. EDIT: I'm not one for pictures, but I'm a big fan of gifs. Some of you have probably seen this one before, but it still amuses me.

I'm not sure this works, but I think it does: Hoid Dust Wit Nazh Khriss Frost Demoux/Thinker Galladon/Grump Blunt The Terriswoman If the Terriswoman doesn't count, either Grump or Thinker should, so I think that's eleven or twelve. Name 15 actors/actresses in Star Wars Episodes 1-6.

Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
little wilson replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wilson wandered down the main road of Tyrian Falls, wondering why everyone had grown so silent. Didn’t her old friends care about finding the people who had killed her? Her hands were still wet with blood, but for some reason she didn’t think it was hers. However, she couldn’t for the life (death?) of her think of where else it could’ve come from. She tried to rub the blood off on her pants, and then she remembered she was a ghost. Her lip quivered as she glanced back around the unnaturally quiet town. They’d never solve the mystery if they refused to talk. If they remained silent as the grave, into the grave they would go. -
I think this is the problem. He keeps adding new powers trying to make them more terrifying but by doing that it has the counter-effect. The Angels were terrifying because they were mysterious--they weren't an outright evil in that they killed you immediately. No, they sent you back in time and killed you that way. Also, I know that the the end sequence in Blink gave the impression that it's all statues, but I'm convinced that the show shouldn't have expounded on that particular idea--especially using the Statue of Liberty to do it. Crash of Byzantium was fantastic, and just added to the Angels mystery. Angels Take Manhattan was a horrible episode that shouldn't exist. I can suspend my disbelief for a lot of things. The Statue of Liberty being an Angel that is able to stomp through New York City and no one sees? The biggest tourist attraction in the city that never sleeps somehow has nobody watching it while it does that? No. I'm sorry but just no. So much no. I draw the line there. I can't even force myself to believe that that's plausible.

Since it's been over 24 hours since you asked this question, and Observer hasn't responded, I'll reboot with a relatively easy question: Name 10 Kings of England

Actually, deserts aren't my forte. I had Sahara, Mojave, and Death Valley, and I knew where other deserts were, but I couldn't remember their names (namely Kalahari, Atacami, and Gobi). You could come up with almost any political geography question and make it as hard as you wanted, and I'd probably be able to answer it. Outside of political, though, it's somewhat hit-or-miss. I know a fair bit, and I'm starting to branch out, but it's slow going, so...yeah. EDIT: Do we have another question?

Don't you mean "Adam"?

Ha ha ha. Salt Lake Comic Con, apparently. Or a Sanderson book release, but that also requires coming to Utah. In all seriousness, though, I'm surprised I look relatively normal in that picture, because I was sort of rather excited to be getting it. But I kept myself under control. Far better than I did when I met Sean Astin.... >>

I'd try for 10, but I'm pretty sure I can't get it, so I'm just sticking with the five. (plus, I'm tired, and can't really think beyond the five, although I know I'm familiar with more he's in. I'm somewhat of a fan. ) Dollhouse Firefly Wreck-It Ralph Transformers (EDIT2: I'm referrring to Dark of the Moon, obviously) A Knight's Tale EDIT: Forgot to put a question.... Hm.... Name 7 main actors in Firefly

Just as a general reminder, the current question is this: I'm going to give about 4 more hours for someone to answer, and if no one has, I shall answer it and give the next question (this one easier, and possibly not geography-related, if I can come up with one...)
