  1. Is everything randomly determined? Including the Hemalurgist's two powers?
  2. Mek. Dustbringer from Roshar. ___________________________________ Seven years. Most of the soldiers Mek had fought with were dead. Seven years of running across plateaus to gather gemhearts. Seven years of watching Alethkar fall apart again. Seven years of facing death on a daily basis. The only thing that had kept Mek going was his loyalty. He had respected the Blackthorn before his time on the Shattered Plains, but seeing Dalinar remain honorable while the other Highprinces had fallen had turned that respect into a single-minded devotion that transcended all else. He had started seeing the Mlys two years after the War of Vengeance began. The spren had admonished him to stay loyal at all times. Morality is relative, but loyalty, the bond that holds nations together, is not. By now, Mek had sworn three oaths and was on track to become a full Dustbringer. Now... now he was leaving. To other worlds. The King's Wit had approached him with a great mission: To fight gods in the name of the greater good. To kill Odium and his servants and save the cosmere. He had been given power... Great power, and now it was time to use it. Mek smiled and stepped into the pool.
  3. Why does Wyrm suddenly know that I drew iron this cycle? I only told a few people.
  4. I'm just going to stop replying. Wyrm can talk circles around me. In fact, that's probably why I was chosen as the victim of this.
  5. I haven't even been in communication with Wyrm. Okay. think about it. The spiked only need one more mislynch to take control of the vote. Unodus is next up for lynching. Their best shot right now is to deflect suspicion onto someone else with a bold claim, and at this point in the game, they can afford to lie brashly because it doesn't matter next cycle. I'm putting my vote on Wyrm, and I hope that everyone can at least make a sane decision and not lose us the game!
  6. Mistborn takes place on Scadrial, not Sel. There is also a possible worldhopper named Felt. He appeared as the Venture spy in Final Empire and discovered the plateau with the Oathgate in Words of Radiance. You can find a description in Final Empire The Terris Nurse in Warbreaker
  7. Odium does not care about occupying the TH. He's just here to kill things. Honor also bound him to Roshar when he tried to destroy it, so he can't leave. They don't know about it. Or how to get there. And for all we know, Yolen could be a dead world. Roshar is not dead. It is a very lush world. It's just lush like a tide pool instead of lush like a forest. The humans also got stronger with each desolation, instead of weaker. The Silver Kingdoms became very powerful and stopped fighting, the Knights Radiant grew and prospered. 4500 years of peace is what's really brought the planet to its knees.
  8. Jain probably lied about only using his power once during cycle three, since the rioting in cycle 1 couldn't have been Unodus. That's why I thought he was suspicious. I was kind of surprised when Claincy agreed with me, and it looks as if several other people decided to bandwagon at that point. If more people had been on it probably wouldn't have happened.
  9. Hey! Somebody posted! It's been awhile since I've seen another live players' icon. And he even agrees with me (sort of)!
  10. I haven't either, but it's just a logical guess. __________________________________________ As for Odium taking up residence in the Tranquilline Halls, remember that Odium has nothing to do with "controlling" anything. Dominion, if anyone, would be the one who would want to conquer the Cosmere. Just like Ruin has no interest in keeping anything alive once Scadrial is dead, Odium just wants to kill. Everything. The Listeners became his tools in that mission once they accepted his spren, but they aren't really his "chosen people" or anything.
  11. Ooh. Very dramatic. Why hasn't anybody posted for... hours?
  12. Wish we knew more about Instabam... Like, can he telekinetically control instant potatoes? Can he make instant potatoes explode? Can he summon a massive wave of instant potatoes? So vague... I bet his weakness was eating real mashed potatoes.
  13. The most common opinion on this, I believe, is that the Tranquilline halls are Yolen (which the humans who now populate Roshar probably immigrated from) and Damnation is Braize
  14. *Panting heavily* Okay, that was intense. That chart was my opus, so I hope I didn't make any mistakes. The big thing I was looking for as I was making this was who could have been our consistent rioter, aside from Unodus. Jain, I found, was actually very consistently in the "no vote" pile whenever a rioting was made. In that first round in particular, Jain didn't vote but Unodus did. Jain's relative inactivity could also account for the eliminators' sloppy use of their rioter. I'm changing my vote on Unodus to a poke on Jain Edit: Did I just do a triple post? Heck yeah! Whatcha gonna do about it?
  15. Here we go. This information was gleaned from a quick skim of the pages, so there might be a few errors (this is why I wish it was a common practice to bold your votes so they can be easily tallied.) _______________________________________________ Night 1: Vron dies from eliminators _______________________________________________ Day 1: (4) Satrams- Kasimir, Wilson, Eoldren, Wyrm (2) Hero- Unodus, Weiry (2) Ash- Maill, Dowanx (1) Kasimir- Satrams, (1) Dom- Peng (1) Unodus- Rent (1) Jasnah- Araris (1) Ostrich- Sarc (1) Macen- Claincy (1) Eoldren- Ostrich Final: (3) Satrams- Eoladdin, Wilson, Wyra (2) Hero- Unodus, Weiry (2) Ash- Maill, Dowanx (2) Kasimir- Kasimir, Satrams (1) Dom- Peng (1) Unodus- Rent (1) Jasnah- Aralis (1) Ostrich- Sarc (1) Macen- Claincy (1) Eoladdin- Ostrich (12) No Votes- Piff, Joe, Dom, Mek, Winter, Seonid, Jain, Ash, Newan, Hero, Jasnah, Macen Boom! 16. For me defending Maill to be suspicious, Maill would have to be an eliminator, which (even though I read Senn's post again after you voted for me) I am still not convinced of. Don't the eliminators want the PMs shut down? If Maill were an eliminator, it would be preferable to shut them down even if it implicated him. I understand that my reasoning is not the greatest, but the main reason that I think lynching Maill is ridiculous is that we have evidence that a single rioter has been (sloppily) manipulating the vote all game. This person is either spiked or crazy, but anyway, they're the biggest lead we've got. Jain or Unodus I'm not saying we didn't have evidence. I wrote that first post because I was sort of confused at the lack of a bandwagon Good idea. I'll get right on that (in an hour or two)
  17. Pretty sure I saw a WoB somewhere saying that Hoid didn't take the Honorblade. My next guess is Liss.
  18. Not sure how voting manipulation will add into the outcome here, so we'd better come to an agreement (hurried post at midnight)
  19. I switched my opinion from Danlan to Inavara's ward, recently. She doesn't have a name so far, but she's been around to witness all of the important events.
  20. Can we do that? We should do that. Track each other down in the dead of night and savagely murder our opponents to ensure that we don't see a Malatium symbol when we roll a 1.
  21. (My quote thing doesn't work for some reason sometimes) But first off, anyway, I don't really think that I have been only bandwagoning all game. I've offered my opinion where I've had one, but the thing is, I'm a fan of evidence. Our random speculation has gotten us basically nowhere, which is why I thought we had to really look at roles and who's supporting who. (The intent behind a post is often more important than how long or how threatening it is, and how much that "deviates from their normal playstyle") Anyway, I sort of figured that we were lynching Unodus this time around, but apparently there are lots of other opinions. Jain is probably a rioter, too, and Maill (despite doing absolutely nothing suspicious all game) is being accused. Then Pifferdoo, of course, probably also has a vote manipulation role... It seems that our supposed "evidence" last cycle doesn't really add up to much of anything at all. I'll put a vote on Unodus anyway.
  22. Well, we can't really say for sure, but we've seen a lot of riotings and soothings and stuff over the course of the game. Spiked probably did them for some reason. Or maybe just a noob who didn't know how suspicious that would be.
