    This little "meeting scene" in The Dalles is going a little too smoothly. I think I'll shake things up a bit next (not in terms of fighting, just Epic slontziness)

    Mmph. I bet after how much I posted last Day Cycle, you guys expected me to keep to that pattern. Obviously, I haven't. Most of my theories died with Orlok, and the fact that he wasn't in love with Araris. There's a line of reasoning that I want to address, though: That of wanting to kill Dowanx or Wonko for starting the lynch train last night: I think it's totally wrong. We have proven that both me (at the time) and Orlok were innocent 100%. It's been GM certified. Both of us were perfectly viable lynch targets last cycle. Two villager lynch targets. Why, may I ask, would the Eliminators attempt to start a Bandwagon on a random inactive when they could easily cut down on the number of actively posting players? In fact, I posit that that's exactly what they did. Look at the voting manipulation performed on me! Orlok and Araris couldn't account for the royal who brought Stephen onto me and the Keeper who secretly voted for me at the same time. They tried to kill me! Even if the voting manipulation onto me could be attributed to other sources (unlikely, seeing as from what I'm reading, most people were leaning towards my side of the Mek/Orlok thing,) why completely upend this wonderful cycle with a random attempt at a bandwagon? So imprecise, random, and pointless. It makes absolutely no sense. I sort of want to slap Lightsworn on the wrist for being so aggressive in pursuing this line of reasoning, but I'll resist voting for him until he tells his side again, since I can see how it could be appealing. That being said, I don't really have anyone in mind for lynching right now. We'll see what goes down. Oh, and for the record, I voted for Fel because I saw him as a workable alternative for Orlok, for whom I had sort of lost my confidence in as a target. It was basically that simple.

    The cultists probably assumed (like me) that Orlok and Araris were lovers. If they had been, the cultists would have had 2 kills instead of just 1 last night. I did not. My secret vote doesn't count as an extra vote, instead it takes the place of my real vote. I didn't see any reason to put in a secret vote when I was perfectly willing to publicly vote for Feligon at the time.

    I think he said that they were the three cities surrounding The Dalles? I'd guess Hood River, Washington; Goldendale, Washington; Moro, Oregon.

    Can I bring this up? So, Blitz and Terra just died, right? What happens to their cities? Would Vondra want to go in and claim them (or their inhabitants) for the US again? Could this be a potential plot point for Day Two?

    Oh. I just meant it in a "alright, let's get you settled" sort of way, not a "that's unoriginal" sort of way, if that makes any sense. I can say that sort of stuff because I'm totally a veteran here. I've made 2 posts, already! I suppose I was reminded of Glamour, though. Anyway I'll write you a pretty detailed synopsis of The Dalles as soon as I get back from work. In the meantime, let me reassure you that I wasn't joking about the thread taking 11 hours to read. The story itself isn't that complicated, but it's told from like, 20 different perspectives.

    I meant the initial PM. I'm one of those Secret Tunnel guys, so I read what secret votes were like. I think that it's a mistake. Hreo and Tulir must have hurriedly edited this post from the last one, and, apparently I was going to be the one to kick the bucket. Either way, my role and alignment were revealed, so there's no way I'm going to be able to continue to participate.

    Right. I was referring to the second one. It was... well, I didn't agree with him. Theoretically, a debtor has just as much chance as being paired up by the Dula as anyone else, so not lynching has the same risk. EDIT: And now that I've seen Wonko's post, I'll be switching my vote to Feligon too, to provide some insulation against voting manipulation. Orlok

    It's true, I'll admit. I don't know if you caught my edit on #87, but Alv's behavior is not what I would expect from him. He's only posted once and that post wasn't very relevant.

    Sigh... Yeah, I'm not trying to be condescending. There's a lot of frustration leaking through right now, but mostly it's just that I'm trying to be direct as possible. I've seen this coming for a day and a half, and up to an hour ago I think I've kept my arguments pretty tactful while trying to be honest and clear. Still, it's frustrated me that people aren't responding, and those votes aren't going anywhere. Well, now it's down to the wire, and I don't have time to waste making my arguments for killing people sound nice. Sorry, though. EDIT: Come to think of it, my last 3 posts make me want to downvote myself

    I'm so going overboard with this. But... You can't seriously be misunderstanding what I'm saying, right? You have to be messing with me right now. I just said why 40% is a reason to kill someone: It's because it's better than the odds of everyone else. Someone is dying this round, do you understand that? And I'd take a 2/5 chance over a 1/6 chance any day of the week. EDIT: Well, sure, Alvron is definitely suspicious to me right now, so you might have a point there. Actually, come to think of it, I think I understand what's happening a lot better now. Judging by your insistence on voting for me despite your absolute lack of any reasoning, if you and Orlok aren't in wuv right now, I'll eat my hat.

    As to the first one: I suppose I agree. As to the second one: We know who the Elantrians are. So there. As to the third one: You have 2 hours before your poke vote becomes a real vote. You might want to make it mean something (I'm beginning to think no one bothered to read my little rant back there.)
