Godmetal names come from the vessel of the Shard they are tied to, so Lerasium for Leras, Atium for Ati, etc, unless the shard doesnt like the sound of the term, as with Harmonium instead of Sazedium. So far there have been no specific names for an godmetal alloys, and very few actual example of such alloys. As far as I can recall, [SA Spoilers] ), and then the whole retconned Atium/Electrum alloy bit. The only named variant anywhere is Malatium, so we'd have to back into a scheme for that one datapoint to be able to speculate on more.

The conservation slowdown is mostly an issue midair, but should be less of a concern when the hulk in question is grounded and can follow through with the full weight and strength in a proper boxer slam.
-
Ideally you would bulk up then reduce your weight so you can move far more than your volume would indicate, but you flash Tap all that weight just before the moment of impact to increase the force and/or follow-through when you are punching folks.
-
Flip it: Tapping Pewterminds adds significant physical Bulk to the feruchemist. I suspect the Bulk does not scale 1:1 with the Strength increase, but While you are tapping Strength you should be able to store more than normal amounts of Weight, and doing so will also make it easier to maneuver with all that added bulk during your Hulk session.

Yup, damage gim into a misteraith like the first generation, then wake him up asap and send him on a worldhopping mission. Let us all see him meet Lift.

"Unbar them Mr Sazed "Double-Diety" Harmony, jeez!" Hmm, for a serious answer? Leecher Marasi still sounds great. Give Wax A-Pewter and an explanation that it actives a Mind-Over-Matter state that is a lot more flexible than most people realize. Learn to grow BIG like a Returned. Store That Weight. Make all his entrances more dramatic. Occationally grow slightly mid conversation just to loom over and intimidate people. For Wayne, maybe F-Electrum with the hope that it proves similarly flexible toward a broad spectrum of mental balances and not exclusively the Manic/Depressive slider they understand so far. Maybe F-Chromium because I think he's got the highest Fortune Stat short of to Lightsong and would have the most to Store. Maybe give him the other Speed Bubble power so he can make his own overlapping time traps. Nah, lets be honest: Wayne gets a massive spike-delivered dose of spiritual damage (not sure which metal) and then Blessings of his very own.

Koloss are made by adding 4 spikes of Physical Strength to a human, but rather than just making a person that is magically as strong as 5 people (more like a Pewterarm) it makes a mutated subspecies with side effects to physical shape, emotional control, intelligence, etc. that are outside the immediate/know effect of such a Spike.

I too have chased this rabbit. Before you run too deep, be aware that it's not 1:1 with the shards, and not all will have a relevant Number. All of the Rosharan system has a 10 theme, with Braize being the 9 exception. And while some shards very much have significant Numbers, most do not.
-
Benefits are hard to say, since Hemalurgic stacking doesnt always just multiply logically, if Koloss are any indication. They would not need to consume more than normal the single Breath per week, since WOB confirms that's a function of their being Cognitive Shadows and not the DB itself. If we assume they are equivalent Breath Units of Investiture for all Heighening purposes, then they should be able to stack themselves up to the next levels in 5k increments. Unless DB's stick together, they should be able to perform multiple Divine Breath level miracles before they die. The appearance changes are purely a function of Mental Gymnastics and self perception, so that likely will be unaffected out of tte box, but if normal Returned have any hard caps on those augmentations that we havent seen/explored yet (Max height/mass, Max Strength, etc) then they should be able to reach new heights. Being anchored in a Spike might make the additional non-"natural" breaths more resilient and resistance to being consumed by their normal DV or things like Nightblood and Larkin (since Leechers cannot drain a Spike).

Words of Radiance campaign shopping cost
Quantus replied to Willfry the cosmere guy's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I dont know UK rates personally, but I would be surprised if it were much more than the UK shipping cost for one of the books currently on the Dragonsteel store. So you could make a fake order in the store to access its Shipping Page and get an estimate for your address, then just dont click Buy at the end. -
I dont think it would make you an awakener since that's what a Lerasium/Edglium alloy would do. Simply transforming into an equal amount of Breaths would make sense for Endowment as a concept but it seems a little narratively boring compared to the more unique realmic effects the other godmetals have. The most obvious effect for me would be a similar thing to Harmonium that supplements the Person and Intent part of the Power equation, making it a way to create Awakened Objects with Powers. But that's also already covered more or less by Ettmetal, narratively speaking, so I think he'll Edglium more of it's own realmic niche. . Alternative options Burn to Awaken an Item to full sapience without the 9th heightening req'd. Gain Permanent Heightenings Gain a Divine Breath without being a Cognitive Shadow (WOB confirms such a person would not require weekly breaths). Spilt your Cognitive Identity into distinct Selves, "Awakening" them to full Hollywood split personalities. (Edgli is "inconsistent" so it could fit thematically). EDIT: Actual (if philosophically problematic) Resurrection, as in an advanced and fully sapient version of a Lifeless. It's also worth nothing that some godmetals like Raysium and Trellium have innate properties that dont involve Burning the metal, so Edglium could be anther such a one.

"Best" hard to quantify, but I think Lightweaver. Soulcasting seems like one of the single most powerful abilities on the face of it. With Lightweaving being a broader Waveform manipulation power that can reach High energy outputs and direct Investiture manipulation, and might conceivably be able to manipulate quantumwave reality in an endgame scenario, I think it's the single most Underestimated of the Surges.

A few random thoughts: Would mummy-style embalming help or hinder a Kandra? Things like scars, tattoos, etc, would technically be preserved a lot longer but all the soft tissues would be desiccated down way out of their original shapes. That's an awful lot of memory storage to be able to recall the placement of every hair for multiple bodies. It makes me wonder if they have some racial magical memory augmentation akin to Lightweaver memory that is specific to the tactile Body Digestion process, something separate from their general biological memory? Have they ever mentioned having to store away the Hair and junk along along with the bones when they want to use the disguise again later on?
-
We just dont know yet, and the most recent WOB I can find makes it sound like he hasnt decided yet (for Doylist reasons). So far he's confirmed that they dont copy the Spirit directly, but that doesnt discount a biological method. If he decides that Kandra can copy DNA, then they can presumably copy Fingerprints and retina patterns too. Or it can be any of the lesser tiers, for example maybe they'll end up able to tactically copy fingerprints but not retina and other internal vascular structures, or maybe anything physical/structural but not actual DNA.

Can Hemalurgy ever be developed independently?
Quantus replied to Stormtide_Leviathan's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah, I agree with the class on this one: Assuming the Intent does not need to be explicit, I think it could be stumbled on with the right destructive mindset and murder weapon. Given it's universal cosmere effect, I think it would be Significantly easier to stumble onto Aluminum Hemalurgy to "Shut Down" powers since a person might theorize it's a property of the metal alone. In fact, I could see a path where that could eb the ONLY form of hemalurgy that might occure to a population for a long time, since it's the only one where the relevant Intent doesnt require a desire to Steal anything or any expectation of Charging the Metal with Soul-chunks (if that kind of Specific knowledge is required). -

Is radiant healing more powerful than gold compounding?
Quantus replied to Beodrakis's question in Cosmere Q&A
Gold Healing seems a little more consciously pliable than Radiant Healing, since it can be directed it to heal specific ailments and injuries while leaving others untouched, and I dont think we've seen a Radiant manipulate their healing to that extent (unless Im forgetting examples of it?). Radiant Healing scales heavily to the strength and progression of the Bond, while Gold scales heavily to Burn Rates and Flaring; again they are comparable in absolute strength and capability but Gold offers more conscious control. Once they've implanted Goldminds like Miles I think removing Stormlight vs Metalminds are roughly a wash in difficulty, Stormlight's inherently leaky nature aside. I think the rest of the decisive factors would be more environmental in the relative availability of Gold metal vs Stormlight. -

Theory: Feruchemical determination is actually Intent
Quantus replied to Quantus's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah. You'd made a point early on that it had to be a Discrete storage like Copper and not a scaled attribute, and I was stuck on refuting that part: it doesnt fit the known behavior with the mania tapping effect and also those options arent incompatible since we have several examples of feruchemical attributes that are both. The rest of that is me trying to wrap my head around your weird memory assertion that Intent cant be an attribute because it's redundant to Copper. And you keep saying Intent is in your mind so it cant be in your Spiritweb, but the fact that Memories can be stolen with hemalurgy proves an attribute can be both (or at least exist in a grey area of it). But we can agree to disagree. -

I...dont know if we were ever talking about the same things, to be honest. -
It's possible but I suspect it would be a non-trivial hurdle to Connect BAM in the necessary ways for them to Both Connect to Scadrians and provide Preservation's Investiture. But as I type that I wonder if it's not just a matter of feeding BAM some large quantity of Lerasium, which does exactly that. The Nightwatcher on the other hand... We know she can make willful and permanent changes to the spiritweb directly, so if provided with a template/example she could probably recreate most Powers (other than things like the Divine that probably take a specific type of Sliver).

Also consider the effect of Lerasium: it Connects you to the Shard, and that's basically it. It's not channeling Investiture into physical Force or Augmented Perception or any such overt Effect, it's creating the Channel itself. Trying to gain Savantism (ie. a Spiritweb warped by massvie quantities of Investiture) by Connecting yourself to a Shard So HARD it warps you outright doesnt feel like it will actually start working until the Connection is so big the Shard's investiture just starts spilling through, and that sort of realmic breakage seems to be where mini-ascensions begin if our example are typical.

They can do pretty much anything within a given range of materials and thicknesses. For bookends they could engrave a heavy block of something (maybe tile like this) or make cutouts from various kinds of plastic to assemble into something more complex. The more powerful ones can cut sheetmetal but that's most likely too industrial for any public Library Ive seen.
