Unless by lying about my alignment, they managed to kill a very important player, like the renegade. Plus, you could be converted or killed tonight. Then nobody would even know who this researcher was. How would they lynch him then?

Guys, don't bandwagon yet. You'll regret it. I am one of the renegades, and if Hoid has converted the other one, you don't want to lose me. Alvron, are you also in contact with a researcher as well as a letter bearer? Because the accusation doesn't even make sense, otherwise. And did the researcher specify that I was the renegade he was talking about? Because I'm wondering if the other renegade is the convert, or if it is self-proclaimed researcher. I don't think it's Alvron. The bad guys wouldn't want to reveal themselves like that. But I do think that Alvron is mistaken.

No, I was honest about being the renegade, but Wyrm also told me that there was another renegade. Also, are you in contact with the letter bearer or the researcher?

Woah guys. Give Alvron a chance to explain himself before you vote alongside him. We need information and discussion, not a bandwagon.

What? No I'm not. Give me context to this accusation. Because it isn't me. Edit: Just to be clear, I'm denying being a convert.

http://brandonsanderson.com/upcoming-events/#7004 Who's going?

The most important thing is that Hoid doesn't convert the Letter Bearer. The ability to read all of our PMs is very powerful. Always remember that they are not 100% secure.

Probably doesn't mean much, but Hadrian Penrod was the first to put a second vote on somebody, even though there were others who hadn't posted or been voted for yet. Also, Karlin, why is Lucy evil?

NuWin crept up to a man who was holding a toy bear. He placed his long, white claws on the man's chest and put his bony head next to the Jindo man's face. NuWin had slightly altered the whitespine mouth so that he could speak, but he had decided to keep the double windpipes. With two deep voices in unison, NuWin said, "I don't know much about Yolish Lightweavers. Do you think they can mask their scent?" Then he breathed in deeply. He was having fun already! I'm just voting for Jain because he's the first name on the list, and I don't know what else to do. Just post, showing that you're here, and I'll change it. Also, I vote that you just do the four hour shorter cycle.

I love how I can't tell whether people on these forums are swearing, then having the words changed by the forum, or whether they actually use words like "chull" and "storming" to swear.
-
Sadly, I will probably not be creating any charts of evilness this game. The computer I use now doesn't have photoshop, and moving the names around would be a pain in the chull on microsoft paint. Plus, I don't want to be named an honorary eliminator. Again.

*BA-DING* The noise had come from Jasnah's safepouch. She had to remember to turn the volume down, or it would attract notificationspren. She pulled out her iPhone. Storm that man. What is it this time?

NuWin handed the darkeyed man a bag of chips. Not delicious potato chips. Yucky gem chips. The man gave a gap-toothed smile and led NuWin out into the hills. Vines and grass receded before their feet. After twenty minutes or so, they arrived at their destination. The man pointed at a tangled mound of vines. NuWin walked over slowly and reached his hand out. As soon as he touched one, all of the vines pulled back and revealed a huge whitespine skeleton. NuWin smiled. "This is perfect!" He turned around, but the man was already gone. Probably thought NuWin was going to steal the gems back. It wouldn't have happened. NuWin was just about ready to leave this horribly rainy planet, now that he had found what he was looking for. But it was a good thing that the man had left. Humans didn't usually react well to this part. NuWin detached his muscles from his bones and collapsed onto the whitespine skeleton. He squirmed in between the plates of carapace, careful not to lose his precious metal spikes. A human body wouldn't have been enough to fill the body of a fully-grown whitespine, but he was prepared. He tapped his bendalloymind, absorbing all the extra food he had been stocking up on for the past three weeks. It would kill a human to tap food energy this quickly, but as a kandra, NuWin's body was special. It only took a few minutes to grow enough to fill the skeleton, then construct the proper organs. NuWin, the first kandra to take the form of a whitespine, stood up and tensed his muscles. He felt strong. He felt powerful. He felt ready for a fight. I'm in.

I hope she isn't an ardent. Do they do any background checks at all? After Kabsal, Nazh, and Zahel, I will never trust the identity of an ardent again.

It's kind of fun to compare what Brandon's writing plans were, and how they've changed. So you don't have to reread this blog post, here is a summary of Brandon's plans, as of summer 2013: Revise Words of Radiance Write Firefight These are the future sequels, in order of urgency: Rithmatist sequel. Shadows of Self Book 3 of Stormlight Archive Calamity Elantris Sequel "This is getting close." Legion Sequel Final Rithmatist book. "I'm not 100% sure this will be a trilogy. It might just be two books." Nightblood "This one is still fairly far off." Alcatraz 5 Original projects: Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell Sixth of the Dusk The Silence Divine "Though, since I did release two new books this year (Rithmatist and Steelheart) in new worlds, starting new series, I will probably wait on this one until those series are done." The Liar of Partinel "Very far off right now." Skyward "Young adult cosmere novel... Probably a few years off." Dark One "Non-cosmere YA novel... Don't hold your breath on this one." Death by Pizza White Sand "Some fun things are happening here, but I can't really talk about them right now." I'm not going to address the media properties, because it's futile to speculate on when there will be any developments. Storming film industry. Rusting video games. Now: Released: Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell Words of Radiance Sixth of the Dusk Completed, just waiting to be released: Legion: Skin Deep Alcatraz 5 Current projects, according to the progress bar: Firefight 3rd pass proofs 100% Shadows of Self 40% Stones Unhallowed 25% Calamity 0% Also in the works: White Sand Graphic Novels Future sequels, in order of urgency. The order is largely just speculation. The Aztlanian (The Rithmatist Sequel) Third Wax and Wayne Mistborn novel Stormlight 4 The Rithmatist 3, if there is going to be a third one. Nightblood: After WoR, the demand for this book has gone up considerably. I suspect this will move it forward in Brandon's queue. But I could be wrong. Elantris 2: I have no idea when Elantris 2 and 3 are coming. Since there is a large gap of years between books 1 and 2, perhaps we will see Elantris 2 in 2016 and Elantris 3 in 2027. Who can say? Stormlight 5 Modern Mistborn Trilogy Stormlight Archive, back half Original projects: The Silence Divine: I believe that Brandon wants to finish Reckoners and Rithmatist before he writes this one. My guess is that if there is not a third Rithmatist book, he might write this one in between Stormlight 4 and 5. The Liar of Partinel: If anyone knows about any updates of the status of this book, please tell me. Brandon wants to write Dragonsteel after finishing the Stormlight Archive, and Liar of Partinel is supposed to take place on Yolen, several hundred years before Dragonsteel. Because of this, I am guessing that Hoid's origin story will be released in between books of the back half of the Stormlight Archive. Skyward: I know nothing about this book, but a YA cosmere novel sounds fun! Maybe it will be released in between Stormlight 5 and the Modern Mistborn Trilogy. Then again, Brandon has said he wants to release one teen book per year, so maybe it will come earlier than that. Dark One: ??? again I know nothing. Death by Pizza: This one seems to have been permanently shelved. So here is my tentative, speculative list for the order of the books to come out in the future. It is sure to be wrong, especially as we get more than a few years away. 2014: Legion: Skin Deep 2015: Firefight White Sand 1 Shadows of Self 2016: Stones Unhallowed Alcatraz 5 Calamity White Sand 2 2017: The Aztlanian White Sand 3 Wax and Wayne 3 2018: Stormlight 4 Nightblood Rithmatist 3 2019: The Silence Divine Skyward 2020: The Highprince of War (Stormlight 5) Dark One, or maybe a Skyward sequel 2021: Elantris 2 Another YA book 2022-2026: Modern Mistborn Trilogy 2028-2036: Stormlight Archive back half, The Liar of Partinel, Elantris 3 2038-2050: Seven book Dragonsteel series. 2052-2056: Future Mistborn Trilogy 2057-???: No idea, but Brandon will be 81 by then. Wow. This post turned out kind of depressing. Let's compress it a little bit. Maybe the Mistborn and Dragonsteel books will only take 1 year each. Now-2020 Stormlight front half 2021-2023 Modern Mistborn 2025-2033 Stormlight back half 2033-2040 Dragonsteel 2041-2043 Future Mistborn Trilogy Brandon will only be 67 then. That's better. Now my pulse is returning to a normal rate. The future seems scary, but this means the onslaught of awesome books will last at least 30 more years. I'm going to be 50 by the time the major cosmere series are complete! If we assume that Brandon writes an average of 2.5 books per year, that's 75 more Brandon Sanderson books. I think I can live with that.

Could a Seer take down a shardbearer?
Newan replied to Natanaj's topic in General Brandon Discussion
This doesn't apply directly to the current fight, but it does show how powerful atium is. My friend asked Brandon who would win in a fight: Ironeyes or Szeth. Brandon said that Marsh would win because he has been flaring atium for years, and "it's hard to beat someone who can see the future" -
I like your thought about Odium controlling the Parshendi. It is at least a little bit different than how Ruin controlled the inquisitors, though. We're not completely sure what the Unmade are, but we know that they have something to do with what is happening to the Parshendi. Preservation has the ability to hear peoples' thoughts, but he can't talk to them. Ruin has the opposite. That's why Sazed can do both. As far as other good shards controlling people: The shardholders on Sel are both dead. Harmony's nature compels him to give everyone a chance. That includes the bad guys. Harmony isn't actually a good shard. It's a neutral shard, being held by a really good guy. Cultivation and Endowment (growing and giving) both have intents that don't really go with controlling people's bodies. My answer sounds like "they are the good guys and wouldn't do that" but what I mean is "they hold shards that can't do that." Over time, the shard's intent influences the mind of the shardholder. That's why Preservation couldn't attack Ruin. And that's why Sazed can't grab Wax by the brain and force him to win every fight. Once Sazed has held Harmony for a few thousand years, I don't think he will even be able to help the good guys in little ways.
