You didn't tell me, but I saw the names "Egwene" and "Elyas" on the same page.

Yes, we have seen her in non-Mistborn books.I asked Brandon a few more questions about WalDo, and got some answers. Just kidding! I got RAFOs. Q. Is the kandra worldhopper MeLaan? A. Good question. RAFO. In upcoming Mistborn books, you are going to get to know a lot more of the kandra, so you will have a lot more options. Q. When the kandra worldhopper is off-world, er off-Scadrial, does she take the form of a human female? A. Not all of the time. Q. Has she spoken a word of dialogue in a non-Mistborn book? A. I can't remember. Sooooo we're not that much closer to finding out who she is. But we do know that she hasn't spoken very much dialogue, or anything very important. Otherwise, Brandon would have remembered. Edit: I took his answer to the second question to mean that she doesn't always take the form of a human. She is in animal form some times. But the fact that he couldn't remember whether she had spoken dialogue suggests that she appeared as a human at least one of the times we saw her.

Well, first of all, I think it is going to surpass all of my predictions. Most of all, I'm excited to see updates on the statuses of The Silence Divine, Skyward, and Dark One. When Brandon did the reading from Silence Divine (it's on youtube) he said that it was going to be a novella. My guess is that its release will be like that of The Emperor's Soul. Skyward and Dark One are both YA, so I doubt he will write those until Reckoners and Rithmatist are finished. I'm also really excited to see what he says about Nightblood and Elantris 2.

Once I have a few more RAFO cards, I want to laminate them all into a sheet and have Brandon sign it. It's ok. Were you the one reading Eye of the World? (bad habit: whenever somebody is reading a kindle, I peek to try and see if I can guess which book it is.) Peter, I said hi to you! As we were walking out of the building, I said "Peter Ahlstrom! Thanks for always answering questions on Twitter and 17th Shard!" I was wearing a black hat. Here were my questions. This is from memory, so it isn't verbatim, but zas678 wrote down the answers as I was asking them. Newan: Is the kandra worldhopper MeLaan? Brandon: Good question. *hands me a RAFO card* In upcoming Mistborn books, you are going to get to know a lot more of the kandra, so you will have a lot more options. Newan: Ooh. When the kandra worldhopper is off-world, er off-Scadrial, does she take the form of a human female? Brandon: Not all of the time. Newan: Has she spoken a word of dialogue in a non-Mistborn book? Brandon: I can't remember. Newan: Ok I have one more question. Is there some kind of connection between Szeth and Yelig-nar, the Unmade? Brandon: Hmm... Szeth has no more of a connection with Yelig-nar than anyone else does. Newan: Thank you so much!

This line is so slooooooooow! I'm near the back, wearing a black hat.

You say that now, but just wait until you have read all four Mistborn, both Stormlight Archive, Elantris, Warbreaker, Emperor's Soul, Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell, Sixth of the Dusk, The Eleventh Metal, The Hope of Elantris, and all the deleted scenes and annotations on Brandon's website. The hunger doesn't stop. Rithmatist is going to start looking pretty good. Sometimes I wonder how many more members we would have on this forum if we didn't have our terrifying Dark Alley.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Newan replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I say no when people say they suspect me, because I'm not bad. Plus, it's fun. Thanks! Yeah. I guess it's more of a gut feeling vote than anything. Mostly, I just wanted to choose somebody who seemed at least slightly suspicious and vote for them, because I haven't voted yet this game and I didn't want to be that guy. Oh. oh yeah. ok. Whew. I was freaking out there for a sec. Yeah reincarnation and stuff ok. I thought you meant, like, permanently. But you meant the first time Nighthound and Voidgaze met. Ok that makes sense.

Just imagine the arguments between the Doctor and Hoid. Doctor: "What? You would just let Roshar burn if it meant killing Odium?" Hoid: "Well didn't you do that to Gallifrey to kill the daleks?" Doctor: "It got better!"

I just imagined the Doctor saying that, but then it didn't make sense because he's always been a worldhopper.

Hey TwiLyght! Congrats on reaching 5000 rep. I just upvoted this post. Although I thought God of Colors was quite fitting.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Newan replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You know what? I really, really liked that title. You know what would be really funny? If one of the spies was an officer, who just happened to roleblock another officer, who happened to be the other spy, then the officer spy decided to kill the other spy so that they would all believe the officer spy was an officer good guy. Funny, and also completely far fetched and improbable. And seriously, how many officers do we think there are? I'm in the "I believe Wilson is good" camp again, for the moment. The other possibility: Maybe Wilson is bad and Twei is good, and Wilson isn't actually the officer, but Wilson doesn't think that Twei would come on and defend himself. Hmm who's Twei... wait nobody is Twei. A nickname from a previous game? I assume it's twelfthrootoftwo. Well, since twelfthrootoftwo hasn't posted yet this cycle, that's actually possible. So I'm going to wait to see if twelfthrootoftwo attempts to refute this before I throw my vote on there. Edit: I blame Austre, God of Colors- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Newan replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Bro I just said it wasn't because of the votes on Wilson. Like five minutes ago. *ahem* And I quote: Edit: also, don't take this personally. I think you're awesome. Your craziness has been one of the most entertaining parts of this thread.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Newan replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Odysa, you crazy. To be honest, I do believe that you don't know what to do. Me neither. And maybe I'm completely off here, but when I was an eliminator I would tend to be nervous and always want to post a lot. I didn't, but I wanted to. So that's what I think you're doing. And if anybody thinks I'm just doing this because of the votes on Wilson, I say unto thee nay. I've got no ideas there.- 611 replies

I'll be wearing a black hat that Wayne would most definitely steal make a fair trade for. I answer to Newan or Aaron. And now I'll stop derailing your thread. Woops.

Oh, right. Maybe it should also make all magma or lava within a certain radius of him harden to cold stone.

Plus, then he could make them erupt if somebody is attacking his island, which would be pretty awesome. Yes, and yes. Exactly. Details on Chaos Godforge: Power: Control over magma (not lava, magma). He can make islands and volcanoes, but once he makes the volcanoes erupt and the magma is exposed to air, he cannot control it anymore, nor is he immune to it. Specific Weakness: Whenever someone mixes up the words "lava" and "magma", he must drop everything and correct them.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Newan replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You seem to really want us to think you are a spy, but I'm not buying it. I need proof! Tell us the name of another spy, and if we lynch him and he's bad, then we can kill you. yay! Ellipses mine. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ... Wait. yay! ... Wait. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (But seriously now, I wasn't toying with you. I actually think you're nice. You were encouraging me though my actions have helped eliminators in the past, and there was another player who you were encouraging, and it was just nice.)- 611 replies

Theory: Chaos is a Chaos. Actually, I don't have any idea who Financier is. I couldn't find him/her in the Epics of Oregon thread, and he/she hasn't appeared in the RP I have read. (I've read the whole Dalles thread, but I'm still only 28 pages into Portland.) So my idea was that Chaos had a magma-controlling power, and that these were actual volcanic islands that he raised. But if the Financier would work better, that's even better!
