    I looked at a few churches in the Dalles, and this one is the best match for the Koschei massacre site. It's a Mormon church, and it is closest to the description in this post. It's a pointed, brick building with a steeple. However, there are a couple of issues. Mormon steeples don't have crosses, and it isn't on the edge of town. But I have headcanon for that. I may have gotten a little bit carried away... Headcanon:

    The first season of Agents of SHIELD is on Netflix. If you decide to try it out, don't give up after the first two episodes. The second episode is my least favorite. It's predictable and uninspired. However, the show starts getting better and better, and by the time you get to the second half of the season, it is rocketing full-speed toward an amazing finish.

    The idea that I'm currently working over is that the God Beyond is the cognitive shadow of somebody who held Adonalsium before it shattered. Would a cognitive shadow influence events in minor ways, like (serious Shadows for Silence spoilers) or possibly (big-time Elantris Spoilers) or (large Warbreaker spoilers) ?

    I was expecting the current chain of Doctor Who/WHIO crossovers to end with the Tardis exploding and becoming Calamity. Only the best compliments manage to assuage the egos of both the complimentor and the complimentee.

    Yessssssss top fifty!!! Now when people ask if I'm one of the biggest Brandon Sanderson fans in the world, I can say yes! Whenever I watch Return of the King and it gets to the end of the credits and lists hundreds of names of fans, I imagine my name being in a list of fans at the end of some Sanderson adaptation in the future.

    Herowannabe's game is often referred to as The Most Complex Game Ever. Twinborn Village has 39 abilities, 35 possible items, a map, and everything. Technically, it takes place in an underground complex instead of a village. So maybe I should change its name to Twinborn Complex. It would be more fitting. Your game is pretty vast too, but I don't think that either of us hold a candle to the insanity that is Herowannabe's game.

    I don't see why people think that Pattern isn't an interesting character. He honestly believes that Shallan will kill her, and yet he stays with her. He is slowly regaining conscious thought, so of course he isn't going to be as independent as Syl yet, but there's something about how self-sacrificing Pattern is that makes me fascinated to learn his motivation. Why is he staying with Shallan even though she almost killed him once, and he is convinced that she will do it again? I understand people liking Syl more because she is adorable, but to those who say that Pattern doesn't have a strong character, I say: Mmmmmmm, lies.

    Five games from now will be either Herowannabe (and Tulir)'s Elantris game if Herowannabe is back by then, or it will be my (and Aonar's) Twinborn game. Then you will know the true meaning of "complicated". Muahahahaha!

    "What went through your head when you were chosen?" the interviewer asked. 'I'm finally free to be who I am,' Newan thought. But it wasn't time. He had to wait for the games before he could reveal himself for the monster he was. "Um, I was like, scared and stuff." he said. "Scared and stuff?" the interviewer chuckled. "What did you think?" "I was like, oh no! I'm going to have to kill people. That's so sad." The interviewer arched an eyebrow. He looked unimpressed.

    I think it's a koloss holiday for munching heads, as opposed to a human holiday for munching koloss heads. I like this idea. I think I'm going to go alliteration themed. Also, there's a game of Elimination about to start, and I don't want to confuse anyone. So my name will be Newan the Nose Nosher! (I looked it up. 'Nosh' is a synonym for 'eat'.)

    Dear fellow tributes, I am writing to inform you that after the Cornucopia, I will be spending several cycles killing muttations. As their threat to me will increase as the number of living players decreases, I want to make sure that most of them are dead before I start fighting other tributes. If I am the only tribute attacking them, I will kill four of them. If others join in on the effort, I will not rest until they are all dead. I know the temptation to stab me in the back will be very strong. However, think of it this way: as long as I am alive and killing muttations, I am helping you. You could kill me, but I am killing those who would harm you. It would be a much better idea to attack those who might actually attack you. Think of the children. All of my love, Newan

    It already has a name. Apparently, somebody once asked Brandon if there were any holidays on Scadrial. He jokingly replied, "Koloss Head Munching Day". Eventually, somebody decided that Koloss Head Munching Day happens to coincide with Brandon's birthday. And thus, Koloss Head Munching Day was born. Edit: Oh I get it. Sanderday. Saturday. Haha

    Thank goodness! After nearly two weeks without any new posts in the Dalles, I was worried that I killed it.

    High five for District 9! Newan walked toward the girl. She hadn't said anything to him yet. He wondered if she hated him. Sometimes people hated him. He wasn't going to win if people hated him, so he was going to give her a gift. It would probably help with the boredom. Was it boredom? Was that why she kept looking out the window? "Hi." he said. He sat down next to her and showed her the book in his hand. The cover was dirty from use, so he opened to the title page. Mistborn, The Final Empire. "I think you're worried that you won't be able to kill people." said Newan, "This book is about a girl who worried about that too, but she became the greatest killer in the world. You should read it." Newan looked at the girls eye and made a friendly-looking smile on his face.
