    Did anyone find that Ati's reaction to dropping into the Cognitive Realm was similar to the people who were part of the koloss? Warped souls, controlled minds... Neither seemed to really know what's going on when they came through.

    Hum... I think that it's a little bit ambiguous. There were things in Bands that I was expecting, but I've consumed all the Scadrian hints I could find, so there weren't all that many spoilers for BoM in a Secret History. If you're a die-hard fan and have read all the signings and stuff like that, then I think that SH won't be that much of a spoiler, but if you've only read the previous five books, you should definitely read BoM first.

    Intriguing, and I would like to read more! I'm not as good at the grammar stuff, especially not this late at night, but I would offer one thing. I had two paragraphs of tension and intrigue, but then it stops for the sake of the red leaf. I understand that it's only a few paragraphs, not everything can be shared in that space. I'm interested in Alfred, and I'm interested in the leaf. But the two paragraphs with drastically different tones were a bit jarring. I hope that this will be expanded upon!

    That's true, I do enjoy the rep titles, so I would be disappointed by their disappearance. A reset of the rep system wouldn't be catastrophic, but I feel that it might be frustrating for the people who have been on here for years and have built up a significant reputation, even if it isn't 1,000.

    Interesting story. One thing that I did notice was that Dirge uses his name at least 3 times within the first paragraph. It made him feel like a bit of a dumb brute, and I'm not sure that's what you wanted to convey. I'm curious as to where this is going, though.
